How to add links?

I've noticed a lot of ponies here have their characters names linked in their signatures, and I'd like to do that too, but I can't figure out how.

If you got your way here 

You should first off, type some text, and then mark it 
When you got that marked... in blue...

Then you should press this button.  which you can find at the lower bar of all the buttons.

When you got that up, you should paste in your url in the box, don't change anything, just paste the url in there. 
here, and then you got your link!

What you have to do is go to your settings. You'll see a tab labeled "Edit signature". Click it and a text box will appear. You can then open another tab/window, get the link for your character and copy and paste it into that text box. Save those settings and there you have it. Your character link should be in your signature.

To add a link to your signature you first go to your signature page

Then simply copy an url and paste it. You can add a character here

If you want a name of a character as a link you write down the name and then select it. Then press Ctrl+L and the url link box will popup. Paste the url to whatever you want there.

It is pretty easy to add links. All you have to do is highlight the text you want a link embedded in and click the little chain button that has a + on it.
