Seems like My Little Pony is overlapping with Barbie

When I went to Department store recently, and went to pink aisle, I saw two toys that striked to me bizzare when put together.

One was My Little Pony Equestria Girls toy, which is no surprise;

But this I found it interesting: Barbie and Her Sisters In a Pony Tale toy;

I found it extraordinary that My Little Pony is making human toys, and Barbie is making equine toys.

 

What's more is that both toys are based on the movie of the same name, which both are released in 2013.

 

It is interesting to see how My Little Pony and Barbie franchises have adapted characteristics of opposing franchises.

Considering how long both franchises been around, barbie since 1959 and mlp since 1982 i believe, it's no suprise that they would bite off each other for the female fan base. They gotta adapt and survive some how. I would draw the line at Brobies though

Nothing new on the Barbie side of things, really. My sister and I played this for hours on end 10 years ago.

I Kinda wish Hasbro would put down more time on their toys, they are very inaccurate and how they in the wide wide world thinks that  the heretic in the box is Applejack. Then again the toys arent meant for me the 18 year old guy. Even tho I wanna expand my MLP FiM collection, the only toys that looks accurate to the actual show is the non hasbro stuff.

I actually like the Equestria Girls dolls, atleast some of them. Rarity and Rainbow looks kinda really awesome, but the other ones I don't really know... Then again, I think the other ones look pretty weird in the movie aswell, but AJ looks decent in the movie, but horrible as a doll. But I must say, rarity EQG doll is a must have for me I guess I might wish it for christmas, maybe, if someone wants to give me something instead of money. I've also thought about that they look somewhat like barbies, and when I get one, my parents will be like "Oh damn, you like barbie dolls now too? *jeez*...* and I would say " NO!!! IT*S AN EQUESTRIA GIRL YOU... DON*T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMPARING IT TO BARBIES!!!!!!!". Yep, they do look somewhat like barbies... But... no. no.
