Charcoal looked at the cake. She grabbed a fork and took a bite from the cake. She waited for a second before answering. "Well... I don't hate it. But it is not the best cake I have ever had as well. That probably goes to one I had in Manehatten." Charcoal said before taking another bite.

Charcoal blushed some more. "T-thanks." Charcoal said. She sat in silence for a bit as she ate her cake. "So... is that all you like about me?" Charcoal asked. She felt like she needed to live up to this pony's standards now. She wasn't exactly sure why, but maybe it had something to do with the strange feeling in her chest.

Charcoal was shocked that Guardian kissed her. She just sat there in silence for a bit as her brain tried to register what just happened. A blush was still constant on her face. "I... I..." Charcoal cleared her throat before continuing. "Well... that was unexpected. But nit unwelcome." Charcoal said with a grin.

Guardian smiles, he had been worried he would be slapped or she would yell at him. "Please don't be mean to yourself... Please" he asked again. Inside he was mentally cheering himself on, he had asked her over, then kissed, and she wasn't mad at him. "I was worried you would have gotten mad at me"

Charcoal smiled. "I don't find it mean since all of it is true. Everything I say about myself is true. That includes good and bad." Charcoal said. "And I know how this day went. And, while the kiss surprised me, I couldn't be mad at you. I would if one of two things were true."

"Please just don't do it" Guardian pleased, "wait what are the two reasons that would make you mad?" He asked her. He was really interested, what made her fine with now, he would have to be carful, he wouldn't ever want I upset her. He didn't want to hurt her, by upsetting her.

"Well, the first reason is if you were one of those stuck up pricks from most of Canterlot. I really can't stand most anypony from that place." Charcoal said, expressing her great dislike for the ponies of Canterlot. "And the other is if I had already been dating somepony. Which wouldn't happen anyway... other than you."

Guardian laughed "well I assumed you can over on a date, which meant you didn't have a coltfriend, and am not that stuck up" he said jokingly. Guardian looked at her again brushing her hair back from her head, it had fallen over her face hiding part if it.

Charcoal smiled and blushed a bit more. Her heart was beating a mile a minute. She was completely new to all of this and had no idea what she was supposed to do. She decided to to by her insticts. She leaned forward and kissed Guardian, just as he had kissed her. But she held the kiss.

Ambrose saw Charcoal lean in and he responded. All the while his mind went through random thoughts. I hope she liked dinner, why do i have so much work, so many dishes. They broke away. then Guardian once again resumed kissing her passionately. He was so happy right now

Guardian finally broke away and smiled at Charcoal, "That was amazing" he said. Then he facehoofed. That sounded so stupid. He yelled at himself mentally. Why you stupid idiot why. Guardian looked down feeling ashamed."Sorry sometimes my mouth runs away"

Charcoal giggled. "Your fine. Some worrying so much. It really was amazing." Charcoal said, being both truthful and trying to calm him down. "I really did enjoy it. That was also my first kiss." Charcoal admitted. She hadn't ever been like this with another stallion.

Guardian smiled at her once more. "That was my first kiss too". Normally Guardian was pretty terrified yet with his mare it was so easy to talk. He wanted to kiss her again, but he was afraid she wouldn't like him if he kept kissing her. He was so terrified of messing up and losing her.

Charcoal smiled at him. "Well, then I have an idea." Charcoal grinned. "Why don't we make it our second?" Charcoal leaned forward and kissed him again. She enjoyed this feeling a lot. She wasn't quite sure what it was that she liked so much, but whatever it was, she liked it.

All Guardian  could think it 'She did it first'. He kissed her back. He briefly backed away, and said "Care for a third" he leaned in for one last kiss. He was enjoying every second of this date, his parents used to make jokes about him being for ever single, that had changed.

Charcoal leaned in and returned the third kiss. She was happy. Now she could finally shut up her friend up about her being lesbian. Now she could prove that she was straight. But for now, she just enjoyed the moment she had with Guardian. She wisher it would never have to end.
