Charcoal wasn't sure how to think about this. She rarely was a pony of words, so she relied on her actions to do the talking for her. Sue leaned forward and began kissing him passionately. She held the kiss for several seconds before breaking the kiss.

Guardian smiled, "your welcome love" he said. Guardian was content finally he had done something right. What now he wondered. "So what have you been doing?" He asked her in an attempt to get rid of the silence. He also turned and quickly smiled at C he mouthed. Thanks for the idea.(can't spell her name on my phone)

Charcoal smiled. "Follow me and I can show you." Charcoal led him back to her workshop and showed him the finished dagger. "Had to get this just right."

"Why did it have to be just right?" Guardian asked. He was extremely interested in her craft, despite the fact he knew nothing about it, then again thats what made it so interesting. He once again was thinking how lucky he was that he had met this mare at the party. Right place right time.

"For two reasons. First, because if it isn't just right the guard to ordered this will not be satisfied and I won't get paid. Second, because if it isn't perfect my OCD will never stop bothering me until I either fix it or destroy it. And I don't usually like to destroy my work."

Plus being a doctor and all, its kind of necessary." he hugged her. "Its perfect" Guardian said looking at the knife. Yet he also moved slightly back, he was terrified of knives.

Plus being a doctor and all, its kind of necessary." he hugged her. "Its perfect" Guardian said looking at the knife. Yet he also moved slightly back, he was terrified of knives.

Charcoal laughs as well. "Well, lets test it out." Charcoal broke away from the hug and took a few steps away from him. She turned to her suds to face a target she placed on the wall. She held the knife and carefully aimed before throwing it and getting a perfect bullseye. "Yeah, it's perfect."

Guardian smiled nervously. "That is a new skill that i didnt know about" he said. He went forward and tugged the knife out and handed it back to Charcoal. His phone buzzed. He looked at it his eyes wide. "Love i have to go, they have an emergency." he looked at her.

Guardian smiled nervously. "That is a new skill that i didnt know about" he said. He went forward and tugged the knife out and handed it back to Charcoal. His phone buzzed. He looked at it his eyes wide. "Love i have to go, they have an emergency." he looked at her.

"If it's an emergency then you just waisted about three seconds telling me that." Charcoal leans forward and kisses Guardian as she takes the knife. "So get going then. Somepony needs you and right now they need you more than I do. So you need to hurry up."

"Bye love" he kissed her and ran out the door headed for the hospital. He arrived soon and was immeaditly tossed into the surgery room. There had been a fire and he was trying to save the burn victims. He thought about Charcoal during his small break. What if something like this happened to her.

Charcoal got to work as soon as Guardian left. Since the dagger was done she needed to make some better armour. She wasn't exactly the best at making armour so she had to refer back to her blueprint many times.

Guardian was nearly done, well at least thats what he hoped. Patients had been flooding in all day and it had finally ebbed. The majority of the work was done and he fell asleep in a chair, waking up at around 5 pm. "Oh no" he shouted as he woke up. Guardian rushed out of the hospital and headed back to Charcoal's House.

When Guardian was almost home Caprisha ran up to him, looking worried. "Oh thank celestia. You have to get back to the house quickly, Charcoal needs help, quickly." She said franticly, pulling at his hoof.

Guardian nodded immeaditly and double his pace following Prish into the house. "What happened?" He asked her hurried. He entered the house and began to search the room looking for her. He had forgotten that Prish knew where she was, rational thought was out .

Caprisha ran after him. "She is in her workshop!" She pulled him out if the room he had been in and into the workshop. Once they had gotten there a big change could be noticed. The plane wing that had been hanging off of the roof by chains was now on the ground, and Charcoal was under it. Caprisha ran to the wing and started trying t lift it with her hooves and magic. "Help me. It is too heavy for me."

Guardian practically threw the piece of metal off of Charcoal. "Charcoal, Love, are you okay?" he quickly asked her trying to see how injured she was. He looked down at her broken body and tears began to form, "l-l-love?" he said quietly again to Charcoal, he didnt know what state she was in.

Charcoal was unconscious. Her breathing was slow and a bit if blood was coming from her mouth.

 

Caprisha came up. "Is... is she alright?" Caprisha asked. She was very worried about her friend. But she was also worried for Guardian, knowing he wouldn't take thus very well.

Guardian got down and began to examine Charcoal, nothing seemed to be broken, but her tongue was bleeding.  The metal had smashed her teeth against it, she had been very lucky she didnt lose her tongue instead. "Well shes going to have a massive bump," he slowly picked her up and went over to the couch to lay her down. He then got two ice packs. He applied one to her head and one to her mouth. Ice was actually the best treatment right now, she didn't seem to be in any serious danger. He checked her pulse and breathing.

Her pulse was slow, but was still beating. And her breathing was also ragged, but she was still breathing too.

 

"So... she is going to be alright?" Caprisha asked, still worried for her friend and for her safety.

"She's going to have a major concussion, and some pain, but ya *sight* she should be alright" he said to Prish. He sat next to her and bent down to kiss her head. "Watch her for a second"  he said to Prish. He went over and called his buddy on his phone asking for some magical healing wraps.

Caprisha sat down beside Charcoals and watched her. She is used to seeing Charcoal always acting tough and brave... now she looks so frail and weak while she is just laying on the couch unconscious. She didn't like it.

 "Some magic should be here soon that should speed the process along quite nicly." he sighed again. It hurt him to see Charcoal like this, Guardian hoped she woke soon. He would never leave her again, he could stand the thought of this happening again.

Caprisha nodded. "Good she looks like she will be needing them very badly." Caprisha said.

 

It took a few minutes, but Charcoal began sturing, signaling that she was preparing to wake up in a second.

Guardian rushed back to her and sat down carfully not wanting to hurt her. His friend had just dropped off the magical wraps and Guardian lay one carfully on her head, one at a time to not overload her. She wasnt a unicorn so she wasnt used to magic.
