"But..." He stopped and smiled. "You win" he said. Guardian leaned down and kissed her. "Some day I will be win an argument with you" he said as a joke. He seriously doubted that would ever happen. This mate was way to strong to ever let that happen. Still he liked that.

Charcoals smiled. "Thank you love." She kissed him on the nose and sat up. "Now, can you help me get to the workshop?" She stood up and began walking on shaky hooves. As she began walking down the hall the room spun a bit and she leaned against the wall for support.

Guardian knew this was another fight he wouldn't win and helped her down the hall towards the workshop. "Are you sure you okay love?" he asked her again. Guardian really wished she would let him help her. He had a pony in the office before and she was so shy she could barley talk. Charcoal was like a shy pony, she didn't say much, but she said important things.

"I... I'm fine." Charcoal said as they entered the workshop. Charcoal knew she wasn't fine. But she just couldn't show weakness. That was the one thing that she could never do for anypony. And sign of weakness and anypony could just swoop in and use that weakness against her.

Guardian looked at her closely. Already she was sweating from this small workout. She really wasnt okay. "Love maybe you should go rest up a little bit, a day off wont hurt right?" he asked her. He looked at her, his eyes pleading.

((When you have been traumatized you don't really think. Her parent's really effected her way of thinking and not in a good way.))

 

Charcoal was beginning to pant as she walked. "I... I'm fine. I just need to walk it off." Charcoal said as she continued walking down the hall. They were almost at her workshop.

Guardian was practically carrying her the last few meters. "Please love, can you rest just a bit more" he said. He looked around for Prish hoping for some support with this. I mean he was the doctor pony after all, shouldnt she listen to him?

Caprisha smiled. She knew her friend well enough to know that she wouldn't last much longer. She began silently counting down from ten.

 

"I t-told you. I'm fine." Charcoal stopped leaning on Guardian and began slowly walking by herself. "I just... need to... work..." Charcoal's body finally gave out and she collapsed. She began falling as soon as Caprisha's countdown hit zero. Thankfully Caprisha was ready so he was caught in a orange magical aura.

Guardian turned and looked at her. "Thank you" he sighed. He slowly led Prish to a couch and motioned for her to set down Charcoal. Guardian then took out a small powered and let her slowly inhale part of it, slowly so she wouldn't cough. "That should keep her asleep for long enough. She should wake up and feel fine."

Caprisha looked at what Guardian just gave Charcoal. "So tell me. What did you just give Charcoal?" Caprisha asked in curiosity. She swore she had seen what Guardian just gave Charcoal before. Maybe she could remember what it was if she just had a name.

"Just some medical powder I made, it's really useful if you have trouble sleeping" he said. It was a pretty common powder, many doctors kept it with themselves in case they had to get a paient to sleep. It was quick easy and safe. "Why do you ask?" He said to Prish

"I was just wondering. No offense to you or anything like that, but I'm still not sure if I trust you one hundred percent yet. You are definitely getting there, but you aren't quite there yet." Caprisha said to Guardian before turning back to Charcoal laying on the couch.

"Thanks" he said sarcastically. He was a bit offended that she didn't trust him , what more did she want? "Yep I would totally try and hurt some pony in front of another, also ya am a doctor so I try and injury ponies" he said. He looked down "am sorry that was rude, just kind of stressed"

Caprisha nodded. "It's fine. I just... It is hard for me to trust stallions with Charcoal. She hasn't exactly had the best time when it comes to dating stallions." Caprisha explained to him. Maybe he deserves to know. I know Charcoal has a tough time talking about it on her own.

"Can you tell me?" He asked her carefully, he didn't want to force her but on the other had he was very curious about what had happen. Guardian didn't want to make a mistake with Charcoal, she was a perfect mare, and couldn't stand losing her from a silly mistake.

"Well... a few years back Charcoal had actually tried dating a stallion, despite what she tells everypony. To make a long story short the stallion broke her heart and said she asked too much tom him and that she wasn't good enough. And I think that is why she is being so stubborn with this."

"In mare speaks how do you tell someone you will never leave them" he said jokingly "but really, I will never ever leave her, I wish she would let me help her" guardian looked at Prish, "any ideas?" He asked. Guardian wasn't sure how to proceeded with Charcoal

"Well her main problem is that she doesn't want to seem weak. She pushes herself to her limits and beyond, but sometimes it just gets her hurt as you just saw. She may he stubborn, but if you keep pressing she will eventually break and stop resisting." Caprisha explained.

"So basically keep trying and don't back down?" He asked her. Guardian looked over at Prish, "any others tips on winning arguments?" He saw down heavily and began to slowly stroke Charcoals mane, trying to calm himself down, plus he enjoyed the feel of her mane

((How can he be petting her mane? I thought her head was wrapped in bandages.))

 

Caprisha shook her head. "Nope, that's pretty much all you need to know." Caprisha said. Then she looked at Charcoal again. "So... will she be normal when she wakes up?" Caprisha asked, still worried about her friend.

"Yes she should be back to normal, although still as stubborn, shame i cant fix that" he said jokingly. He looked at his watch again, "give her another five minutes and she should be awake." Guardian said. He looked at Charcoal again the sadness crowding his eyes.

Caprisha nodded. After about five minutes Charcoal began waking up again like Guardian said she would. She slowly opened her eyes and her vision wasn't swimming, as much. She looked around and saw Guardians petting her mane. "G-Guardian? What... what's going on?"

"You waking up my love," he said softly. "You had a slight run in with that plane wing of yours, but dont worry i fixed you up, you should be all set" he said. Guardian leaned down and kissed her. "I would do anything for you" Guardian said quietly to her. He slowly stood.

"R-really?" Charcoal reached up and felt the bandages on her head. "H-how... how long was I out for? How much work did I lose by being unconscious?" Charcoal asked, once again showing her passion fir her work that shows no matter how hurt she could possibly be.

"You lost nothing, you were out for maybe an hour or two." He said kindly. Guardian didn't want her to be concerned or angry with the little time she had missed. "Your all better now love" he said to her. He slowly helped her to her hooves " carful now darling... Carful"
