S4 And Strength Of Brony Community.

Yeah I've heard a lot of what he tweeted. I wish these guys success if they feel they need to leave the fandom (and that's when you don't make music in it anymore) because thye're bored, feel stifled, or have allegiances to a non-pony music label. But i guess I'm not a big fan of when someone is at the very top of the fandom and is fine to be flown out to bronycon and perform AFTER they've left but isn't willing to stay and make music in the community that loves him. Does anyone really care about Alex S's non-pony music over his pony tracks for example? . I guess i just don't see the gratitude, the allegiance, or the dedication on the top that i see near the middle and the bottom and that saddens me.  

 

He didn't leave at all, he still talks about pony on his Facebook fan-page and plugs other brony artists. He was even talking about making a song about the gator monster in Princess Twilight. He didn't say wouldn't make blatant brony music, he said he couldn't because his contract forbid him from doing any high-profile that might break copyright laws. He even said he'd probably still do subtle pony stuff. 

 

As for Alex S, he was kind of a bit of a douche about it. He pretty much flat-out said he was bored with pony stuff with no tact or attempt to soften the blow. It wasn't venomous or anything, but it was pretty blunt and ill-thought out from a PR standpoint to burn all his brony fans that way when he could have worded it better.  

 

Don't forget Mando either, he still does songs every now and then even and acts like one of us even though he officially works for the show and doesn't have to do jack for unpaid work.
