Grell nodded "ok so do you know if thanatos is there to " grell asked as he kept working on cleaning the bathroom he begun to think his dad had never tried to make contact witness him and he wondered why he thought maybe that he didn't like or want himm

Silver, after scouring the usual places, finally asked around where midnight and grell were. He learned that since he had gotten knocked out fighting a monster a few days ago, they had moved into a house together. Gathering some apples for grell, silver walked off into the direction of their house. As he was about to knock, the door swung open, revealing grell. Silver said, "oh, there you are. I heard that you were looking for me. So what's up?"

Grell smiled "I just wanted to let you know everything has been taken care of the shild will be staying up " grell said then he noticed the apples "those look amazing anyways come on in sorry about the mess " grell stepped aside the down stairs was just a large work area for an undertakerand was ppractically spotless

Midnight was singing as she started cleaning the bathroom, her singing being carried through the entire house.

 

Scout couldn't focus on cleaning; he was too busy listening to Midnight's angelic voice. -Oh Celestia... She sounds so amazing... I swear she's a siren in disguise...-

Grell nodded and shut the door grell heard midnight singing and smiled walking back up stairs once he got back in he bathroom he set work cleaning he nuzzled midnight "silver dropped by and brought appls " grell said hating to disturb her singing

Midnight nodded, still singing and cleaning. She was singing a song she heard from her days in Cloudsdale.

 

Scout blinked. "What is that song? It sounds very familiar..." Scout continued cleaning, smiling softly. It sounded like a lulaby his mom used to sing him before he ran away.

Grell smiled he finished cleaning the shower area since its an old building if they wanted a shower a Pegasus would have to bring a cloud down and kick it so water would fall -iv been told a shower from a cloud is the best shower one could have I hope it's true - grell thought

Midnight kept singing, thinking of how she was going to treat him to a cloud shower. -Cloud showers are the best... The water comes out just at the right pressure to make the ultimate relaxation...-

 

Scout cleaned the sink, Midnight's singing make him calm and peaceful.

Grell set to work on the floor the bathroom was almost cleaned "after this we'll need to plan out our adventure "grell said as he used magic to make a train of apples that he ate from once he finished one the next one moved to his mouth "he anypony want an apple "

Midnight smiled and grabbed one, cleaning the mirror. She finished her song, then bit into the apple.

 

Scout looked up and grabbed one, scrubbing the walls. He thought about that song she was just singing. It sounded so much like a lullaby. "Hey Midnight? What's that song you just sang called??"

Grell finished his apple and began on the next one never stopping or breaking focus he just kept cleaning the floor once he finished he lit some incense it gave off a light scent as the smoke drifted around and disappeared mixing with the airrr

Midnight sniffed the air, smiling. "It's an old lullaby from the olden days of Cloudsdale... My teacher used to sing it to my class when I was just a filly..."

 

Scout blinked. "I knew it sounded familiar! I remember that song from my mother! She used to sing me to sleep with it..."

Grell smiled "i like it " grell said he sniffed the air he loved the smell "so what do you think of the incense " grell asked while munching on an apple and putting the cleaning supplies away -we need to prepare for the trip I wonder where we will find the pearls - grell thought

Midnight nodded. "They smell amazing... Could we take showers before we go? I don't want to meet a god with my coat covered in dirt and dust..."

 

Scout finished his apple, recalling where the pearls are. -Let's see... One is here at camp... I know that for a fact because the weapons training pony watches over it...-

"yeah you go ahead and take your shower then scout then I'll take mine sound good " grell asked as he finished an apple and sent the train of them back into the crate downstairs he sighed knowing he should quit eating apples or at least cut back on how many he ate

Midnight hufffed. "Why don't you take yours first?? I want to show you what a cloud shower feels like..."

 

Scout blinked, loooking at the dirt on his coat and mane. He blushed. -I've been this dirty this whole time in front of her??? Oh my Celestia! I'm so embarrassed!-

Grell nodded "ok you don't have to ask me twice" grell said with a smile he hated being dirty "after our showers we have to start planning our little adventure im pretty sure they won't let us just leave and go to the underworld in fact I think they would call us crazy "

Midnight flew up to get a cloud, happy she gets to show him the joys of cloud showers.

 

Scout thought. "Can't we just tell them I want to go visit my dad?? I've done that before and they let me leave with a chaperone..." He watched Midnight take off, smiling a little.

"they may let you but I don't they will let me and midnight " grell said as he watched midnight fly off to get a cloud "besides if they sent somepony with us I doubt we'd get to have any real fun they'd be nagging us the whole time and in not much for meeting others "

Midnight grabbed a cloud and smiled, carefully bringing it down to the house. "Alright. Step inside the shower." She held the cloud in place.

 

Scout thought for a moment. -Hmmmm... I wonder if I could convince them to let Midnight and Grelll be my chaperone...-

Grell nodded and did as he was told stepping into the shower closing the glass door behind him "make it rain midnight " grell said while smiling he was exited to see what a cloud shower was like he had always wanted to try it but couldn't because he's a unicorn

Midnight kicked the cloud, the rain starting to come out. She smiled, happy Grell got to experience it first. The first shower out of clouds was always the best.

 

Scout walked out, letting him abd Midnight have their privacy. He felt weird being in there while they showered.

Grell smiled as the dirt was rinsed from his coat it felt amazing although it wasn't as hot as he wouldhhave liked it still felt great and he loved it he used his magic to summon soap and shampoo and conditioner for midnight he assumed that she would use it he then lathered himself up

Midnight sat and waited, hummming lightly. She hoped he liked it as much as she did. They always left her so refreshed.

 

Scout walked downstairs, loooking at all the old pictures and details of the house. -I wonder how old this house is... It looks ancient...-
