Midnight started flying to the lair, not wanting to waste anymore time. She was determined to get those pearls and rescue her mom.

 

Scout blinked, watching Midnight dash off. "Uhm... Anypony notice the run away mare heading towards the lair...?" He looked at Grell.

"Hang on tight scout." He bucks up and starts to run really fast. as he follows midnight not letting her out of his sights as he stays right next to her except he's on the ground. "Son you hanging on alright?" He asked as he keeps running. skiea made sure not to run into any trees.

Grell used his magic to teleport onto midnights back "not with out me " grell said as he nuzzled her "I'll always be with you and ill always protect you midnight I love you " grell kissed her cheek and nuzzled her again he was determined to keep her safe

Midnight glared in front of her. "I need to do this by myself! What part of that do you ponies not get???"

 

Scout sighed, holding on tight. -She doesn't want our help... I have no idea why we're following her... This just seems a little pointless to me...- he thought, looking up at her.

"Look i lost my mother to one of the gods as princess Luna as my witness if i have to die to save a friend from ones pain then buck it I'm bucking doing it." His eyes was cold as the antartic oceon as he runs a little bit faster. his speed was a little impressive.

"Look I'll let you get the pearls but I won't allow you to go in alone I'm only going to keep medusa busy while you get the pearls I promise" grell said he just couldn't let her go in alone he wouldn't lose her they had only been together for a week but he loved her

Silver sat on top of a tree and watched Midnight zip off towards the Gorgon's lair. He sighed, thinking to himself, I just don't want anyone to get hurt, but here I am, forced to watch my friends race off towards what may be their deaths. As Silver mulled this over, he became angry, and, without his realization, ignited the branch he was resting on. As he frantically put out the fire!his worry only grew.

Midnight sighed, zooming into the lair. She landed softly, making Grell get off her. She creeped towards the vines and bushes. -If I were pearls go the Underworld, where would I be...?-

 

Scout blinked, the wind hurting his face. "S-slow down please!" he yelled, tearing up from the wind.

He growls his anger only grewed as their is one. god he wished dead but cant die, Zeus himself the more he thought about it the darker his blue eyes became as he ran faster his angered fueled his speed as he he darts across ponds with ease. getting closer.

Grell took a deep breath and pulled out his scythe "I'm going to go in try and avoid me because I'll be fighting medusa" grell said as he started to creep past midnight going into the lair looking around for medusa but not drawing attention to himself

He jumps up and land next to midnight slightly panting as he conjures up water and drinks it gaining a little bit of energy back as he sits thinking up a plan. "What to do what to do" he growls slightly getting irritated as he takes a step in the cave. "-I will not let fear take control!- he thought

Scout had flew off him when he started running faster.

 

Midnight crept towards the bush, her eyes glowing. Her senses were heightened. If she saw any signs of the pearls, her senses would pick it up. -Here little pearly pearlys... Come out come out wherever you are...-

He summons water. "Can i flush her out like a giant terd?" He chuckles as he walks into the cave hopeing she's not anywhere to be found. he continues to venture into the lair as he closes his eyes so he couldn't see anything pretty much running into everything.

Grell was inside the lair looking around carefully hoping to not find medusa but also hoping to keep her away from midnight even if it meant losing his own life he heard movement but couldn't pin point it to attack or even identify the culprit dd

Midnight blinked, seeeing two shiny, round objects sittting in a bowl of fruit. -Those gotta be it! They loook just like pearls... Now to just sneak past Medusa...- she thought, seeing Medusa eating grapes out of the bowl. She loooked to see where Grelll was.

Grell was opposite midnight he seen medusa eating the grapes he seen midnight lookin at the bowl so he stood his scythe coming out and the base hitting the ground with great force his eyes where closed "medusa prepare to die" grell yelled swiniginh his scythe at her

Skies put a hoof on his horn as he sighs. "Thatttss cool" he screams for poops and giggles. "I'M SON OF POSIDEON" doubting it'll work but his father finally spoke to him and for once he listened as he covers his eyes hopeing it'll distract her long enough for grell to kill.

Midnight smiled. -Thank you Grell!- she thought, dashing and grabbing the bowl. She grabbed the two pearls out of the bowl then just dropped it. "I got them! Come o- AAAH!!" She screamed, Medusa using her hair to grab Midnight, grabbing her hostage. "One move, Mr. Grell, and your precious marefriend will get turned to stone," Medusa snickered, making Midnight face her. Midnight kicked and screamed, keeping her eyes shut.

Medusa smirked. "You foolish ponies thought you could just waltz in here and take my precious gems, did you??? How stupid do you think I am?!" She gripped Midnight tighter. "I could so easily just turn her into one of my beautiful statues as punishment..." She stroked Midnight's cheek.

 

Midnight was obviously quivering in her grip, her eyes still shut.
