open MLP Camp Half-Blood

Eternity was a bit flummoxed by what Dead Eye had said.

 

She spoke to Snowstorm, but stared after Dead Eye.

 

"Er, I just mean awesome because I love a challenge" she turned her attention on Snowstorm once more "thanks for the compliment, but I'm not much of a planner"

 

She directed her attention on the group. "Gosh, anypony know where I can bum a bite of an apple? My stomach is trying to eat me!"

Snowstorm smiled warmly. "That's good. But of course you are. You're a daughter of Athena." She had to pull her attention away from Dead Eye. "We just passed a stand. I'll buy, if you want," she said, leading Eternity to the stand. Now was bribery, although there was almost no way to recognise it as such except by those who knew her tactics.

"Gee thanks!" She followed the pony "so, what's your story?" She asked. "You seem different from the rest. Why is that?"

 

Her mouth watered as she spied a particularly red apple.

 

Something was poking the back of her mind, something was off about this pony, but she ignored it. Snowstorm was just so... nice!

"Gee thanks!" She followed the pony "so, what's your story?" She asked. "You seem different from the rest. Why is that?"

 

Her mouth watered as she spied a particularly red apple.

 

Something was poking the back of her mind, something was off about this pony, but she ignored it. Snowstorm was just so... nice!

"You're welcome," Snowstorm said, and then looked confused. "What do you mean by that?" she asked. "I'm pretty much the same. One parent, started getting chased by monsters, found my way to the rest of them. Do you see something... Different... In me?" she asked, hopefully. She saw Eternity spying the apple and smiled, buying the apple for Eternity without a second thought. Bribery, complete. During that, she had initiated pity.

"Ida know" she munched, focusing on her apple. "You just seem diffrent" she wiped apple juice from her chin "somehow".

 

She was so happy to be with a friend, so happy to eat, she got that fimilliar tingle in her coat. Oh yeah, she thought, I guess that's a power.

 

She promptly vanished.

leif looked to where eternity had been "interesting" leif said "our goal is to get to tartarus and its hades not the god of death" leif corrected "and atheha Is the goddess of wisdom in battle anyways we need to get moving after grell is done

grell sighed "if you cant feel pain I nee your hoof" grell said

Snowstorm frowned, still looking confused, although she really wasn't. She had to be careful, because this pony could figure it out. "Okay then..." she mused, still sounding confused. Eternity looked so happy... And that was perfect. She didn't even need to go through pity. Eternity was all ready to be her friend. And then she vanished. "Eternity?" she asked, looking around. She waved her hoof where Eternity was, looking to see if she was invisible or not.

"Ah, sorry about that! Guess I should have mentioned... I kinda turn invisible when I'm really happy. I can't exactly control it" she faded back into veiw. "Sorry" she blushed awkwardly "It doesn't last to long, and it unpredictable, and, well..." she stopped. Embrassed, she lifted her hoof to Grell again. "Its still a little sore."

"Well," she said, annoyed. "Now I know the name. But I thought it was a different god," she said, confused. "Tha- something." She was actually confused now. Which god was it? How many gods centred around death? So many more questions, all of which she promptly asked.

grell nodded and slowly applied pressure looking for a break he didn't fell any bone movement and smiled "good news its not a break" grell said  but you still need to be carful just take care to not injure it further and you should be fine just let me know if you neeed something for pain"

leif sighed "he is god of the dead and the underworld thanatos is god of death but hes not the problem" leif said

'Invisibility' Dead Eye thought, 'I'd kill to have that power. Would make stealing a lot easier on me. But no, I have to be a living Lite Brite'

 

He then turned toward Eternity,"You may want to keep your emotions under control then" He said, "Although, that is a pretty useful ability to have." That was as close to praise as he will give anyone.

Snowstorm laughed lightly and playfully. "I'll keep that in mind." Next up, use a weakness to her advantage. Eternity has a little accident, her power shows, she comes crying to Snowstorm for help. Snowstorm sets them straight, more trust in Eternity. But that would be hard with this weakness. She'd have to figure out a way some time, and before Eternity could control the power.

Snowstorm's smile faded, turning into a frown. "It was just a question..." she said, a hint of sadness in her voice. And now she could re-initiate pity.

Snowstorm scowled inwardly. She'd have to slow down that effort, or find another weakness. Snowstorm echoed Eternity's question. "She's right. We need to know the problem. Otherwise, we won't know what to do." She waited for the answer, glancing at Dead Eye every now and then, unnoticed.

"And the last of the pearls are here. I've heard there is a fearsome beast that guards the building in which they are housed, but few have lived and remained sane to tell about it." Silver grimaced slightly, realizing how negative his words sounded. "But with our combined skills, I'm sure there is little that can get in our way!" Silver then said to Eternity, "Invisibility is an extremely useful, and quite rare skill. We would be honored to have you join us, andwhen we get back to camp, we can help you hone it to perfection."

Eternity blushed at the kindness she was receiving from these ponies. "Thank you" she said "I would be honored." She thought of what Silver had said... sane enough... that made her wings quiver. What could be that terrifying? But she would help her new friends, no matter what.

((She's a jerk. A manipulative jerk. A manipulative jerk with a circle of "friends" who only serve to put her up on the social scale. Although a few might be actual friends.))

((Also, do note that the pearls aren't actually part of the books, and it was in fact Thanatos who left the doors open because he was locked up. He is unable to close them at the moment. Hades cannot close them either.))

((Well the pearls are in the books, but we are going more with the movie thing. Also, we are just going with Hades being unwilling to close the gates))

"Well, we are not entirely sure. However, monsters are most comfortable surround by things that remind them of their home, so just keep a look out for Greek architecture."

Snowstorm followed Leif and Grell trustingly. If there was anypony at this Camp Halfblood that she would really make friends with, it would be Leif.

Snowstorm shook her head quickly. "That's probably not a good idea, considering that probably none of us can take the monster on alone, from what I've heard. If he finds any of us alone, I don't know what would happen."

"I agree with Dead Eye. And I wasn't saying we attack, I think we should find the pearls, then regroup, then decide how to attack." She didn't want these ponies to think she had no idea what she was doing. She was grateful that Dead Eye had agreed with her. She wasn't entirely sure if she could trust them, but if they actually were good guys, she wanted their companionship.
