Grand Finale

No particular story with this one. I just knew I had to draw this once I saw Twilight now has her own Sonic -- Sparkle--Boom... or something.

Makes for some good friendly bonding. There's no doubt in my mind that Rainbow Dash would want to try this.

Ooh, that's a super cute art style there, I like it. :3

 

I'm still trying to get over Sparkleboom As far as constructive criticism I would have liked a little more focus on the ponies, as they are a little small in comparison to the rest of the picture. Of course, you wouldn't be able to fit the entire "boom" in the picture that way which is sort of the whole point, I guess.

 

But those ponies look cute enough that I think it would be worth it.

I sorta agree and disagree with Sky Chaser. I would have liked more focus on the 'boom; I feel that would capture the same overall meaning of the work while feeling a little more "grand". Still, I think either way would work; I guess it's the sort of in betweenness of the work that bothers me.

 

it's a good picture though. I especially like the 'boom, the differing textures of the rainboom and sparkleboom mesh really well.

The Sparkleboom might actually be her magic, not her speed, After all, Twilight has seen the Rainboom  what it looks like and creating a shockwave with magic is probably a lot easier than going hypersonic with wings.
