Cast 238 February 28, 2012 Share February 28, 2012 Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to act as an editor for a pony story I'm working on? It's called Sorrow and Harmony, about a young colt named Leon, the bond shared with his father, his inner struggle when he's taken from him, how to cope with his loss and learn how to love again with the help of his friends. This is going to be based in the My Little Pony's: Friendship is Magic universe, will have the entire cast in the story at one point or another and will have a great message and meaning when its all done. This is not going to be a long story, about the size of an episode of MLP so there will not be to much to go through. I don't want to make it to long and ruin it anyways. There will be twists, and turns, some you will see coming, others that will come from nowhere, but I hope it all makes a good story you could enjoy. I have been trying to write something like this since my own father died and mlp has given me the creative spark to finally try, this is so far a really hard story for me to write, having to dig into my past and pull out parts of my live I would rather not have, but in the end I hope it gives something special to the story and could really use some help. I'm going to try and animate this story sometime, so if there's any want to help on that end anything at this time is greatly appreciated and just note or comment here if you'd like to help. The story is not finished yet, so right now there is only about 7 pages most of the story is being written down on notebook paper at work and typed at home. Their purpose is to read a story and check for quality writing before it goes on the site, not edit someones story. Want to start a webcomic, looking for an artist, details here! Cast 238 February 28, 2012 Author Share February 28, 2012 Simply looking for someone that could help correct spelling and grammar mistakes, or even just give a short read when they are done and tell me if anything seems out of place, need to take something out or add to parts. I would like to make this one as good as I can because it has a lot of personal impact and meaning to me and I don't want to mess up the story and message with some minor errors. I'm not that bad a writer, but I know I'm not the greatest when it comes to grammar and spelling, have gotten a lot better over the years but would be great to have a fresh pair of eyes to look things over. The story is not finished atm I'm up to the point of the father's loss and am working on how to move to the next part of the story, and the narrative flow. So there wouldn't be a lot of work involved, I would of course give credit for the help. What kind of editing?
