EVENT

a blue pegasus stallion entered a room with six ponies waiting for him to show he looked at them and spoke "All right I bet your all wondering why you all are here?  You 6 have been chosen because of your talents and abilities to be Equestria Elite squad of ponies to go on missions and help Equestria on a Daily basis.  Unfortunately instead of training with the guard like i had planed it looks like you all need to get on the job training with your first mission."  he looked at them all his look said he was not kidding. "Last night in the small town of Ponyville all the Elements and their bearers have been foalnapped our Intel tells us they all have been separated all over Equestria.  Which brings us to you mission you will go to save them all you shall not separate from each other no mater what.  All we know for now is that Miss Rainbow Dash is being held up somewhere neer Trottingham at the moment so that is where you will start.  I will send you more Intel over personal mail mare when we find out more information regarding this.  So before you depart any questions?"  He asked honestly hoping they understood what to do.

So that's the situation, the elements have been foal-napped and its our job to rescue them. A film critic and five others to fight other ponies that foalnapped equestrias heroes. In all my adventures I can say with confidence that we... are totally screwed.

"So, the six of us, civilians mind you, are to rescue the elements. I only have one question. Why specifically were we chosen. I mean sure, I know some martial arts, but doesn't the princess have an army at her disposal. Its a tad odd."

I kept my stone faced expression as I showed my concerns.

"Well you have a skill of analyzing right you don't that that a team analyst is needed cause that why you where chosen.  Trust me you all have great talents to be part of this team, but I belief that you 6 will be great friends as well and a team is not just a people with skills but a group that understand each other."

I began to ponder the situationneven further. True my analytical capabilities were unmatched by even the best detectives in equestria, but how that will help is still elusivento me. I should probably prepare for the trip.

"So be it, I'll prepare for our departure after the meetin. But before that happens, do we have any leads on those responsible for the crime, or anything else we should know."

The more information I have the quicker I can find those responsible.

"Sorry but that's all the information we have for now remember we will send you any information we discover and you can send us information when the mail mare arrives OK."  The stallion said to them "oh yeah all we found was a weird symbol on the ground that we never seen before.  All we know is what it looks like here's a photo of it."  He gave Mr. Critical a picture of the symbol.  It looked like a book and a oil lamp inside a circle.  "it could irelavent but its all we got right now so good bye and good luck."  and with that he left.

The stallion had left the five ponoes and I to... do whatever it is were suposed to do. I know that our first destination is trottingham to save the element of loyalty. The symbol he handed me was peculiar, never before have I encountered such a thing. How cryptic. I looked to the other five I'll be joining on this quest. Two looked disinterested and about as enthusiastic as I am. One seemed to have an optimistic tone to him. One looked a tad shy, she may not be much use in a fight. And the last one... I don't know what to make of him, however he looked like a soldier of some.

"So, what do you make of the situation?"

"Well, I think we should to to Trottingham. I'm sure we'll find more clues about that picture on our way." Mooneyes said enthusiastically. "And the fact that we help everypony in Equestria by finding back the element bearers should make you want to go too." He added.

"I don't know about the picture, but it looks like some kind of ritual to me." He said, looking at the picture.

"So what are we waiting for? No time to lose!"

Well that seemed to be the plan. Go to trottingham, save the element of loyalty, and do the same to the next town over.

"Then so be it, we shall depart as soon as possible for the city. I suggest we retrieve anything and everything we will need for this trip."

I said with my stonefaced expression. Something about this quest just rubbed me the wrong way. I just wish I knew what.

Seems everyone is ready. I followed the terrifying individual out of the room. His expression mimicked my own. I saw the others follow suit. We all said nothing to each other, I speculate because 2/3 of us, including me, didn't seem much for conversation. I stayed in the back, bringing up the rear as we made our way to trottingham.

Steel flew over the group as the made their way to trottingham -just the way I like it silent no pony blabbering everypony focused on the goal saving the elements - steel thought as he did so he looked over the other ponies steel was born and raised to hunt ponies down and to kill he was a fighter and it was obvious with all the weapons he had strapped to his body

Since it will take a while to get to the train station, I began to size up my new companions on this rescue mission. First thing I noticed was that I was the only earth pony in the group. Okay, disadvantage there. First up was the female pegasus up front. She was grey and had a checkered flag as her cutie mark. Most likely a racer. She appeared to be 20 years of age. She had a determined look on her face. I looked up at the other pegasus in the sky. I couldn't get a clear look at him, but from memory, he had a dagger as his mark. Best not mess with that guy. Now we have the last pegasus. A white coat and shy individual. Couldn't get a grasp on her age. A young adult, that's for sure. She had a worried on her. Poor filly. Next the unicorn with a killik sword. He looks like he very expierianced. He and the merc looking pegasus will most likely be a great force for defending. And lastly the optimistic looking one. He had a... question mark as cutie mark. No clue what that ment. He far taller than the others. Okay, we appear to have two warriors, a scout, and the rest and I are generally useless. Maybe we have a chance after all.

This was going to be an uneasy trip. I never really liked trains, but time is of the essence here. So I'll just have to deel with it. I checked my bit-bag. Plenty of bits if the need were to arise. I wasn't exactly a noble, but critic did pay pretty well here.

(I have no clue. Time zones are always a problem for RPs.)

Nighteyes didn't like silence at all. But he couldn't do anything to help about that. He wouldn't try to strike up a conversation they probably wouldn't even reply. Some of them looked kinda grumpy, he would like to cheer them up, but didn't know how to.

"Then I'll just do some research he thought." And with those thoughts he took a notebook and a pen from his saddlebags, and began to write something down about every curious thing he sought, which was nearly everything.

@

"Interesting" he mumbled. "It almost looks like those shadows are following us".

Slipstream casually walks over to the critic, quietly to him alone, she wanted to keep this conversation between them in case she was wrong about her assumptions of the team. "You seem to be the mastermind here, what plan are you cooking up for trottingham?..." she asked. She had not spoken until then, she preferred to listen and she did so very well. Judging by what she could tell about the other ponies she was the scout. "and what part do I play in it?" She tacked on at the end.

(Sorry I was so late to post and this is my first ever RP post. How did I do?)

"I have no plan as of yet. I was waiting until I have a better grasp of our situation." I told the grey mare nest to me.

"As for your role, I noticed your cutie mark. If my asumption is correct, then speed is your greatest strenght. May come in handy later."

I continued to walk with the group.

"Just be patient, and our roles will come into light soon enough."

(You're doing pretty good thus far. We'll let you know if you beed improvement on something.)

"The names Slipstream." she said as she took flight, flying casual circles around Steel. "That trick is impressive..." she said in a slightly cocky tone "but check this one out." Slipstream blasted into the air accelerating faster than anything the other ponies had seen before. once she got high enough to be out of sight she stopped flapping her wings letting  gravity slow her down. Once she got to the apex of her arc she closed her eyes, she loved the feeling of weightlessness, it one one of her favorite things about flying. She opened her eyes remembering that she had promised everypony a trick so she decided to pull off one of her favorites. She began to fall faster and faster and at the last moment pulled up flying in between Steel and Mr. Critical being sure to lightly brush each one with a feather on the end of each wing. Once clear of the group she began barrel roll after barrel-roll kicking up dust from the ground in a beautiful spiral pattern making it impossible to see behind the swirling but controlled cloud of dust. after a few seconds of letting everypony look at the pattern she made she shot through the center of the spiral, heading right at the group, covering herself in the dust she had kicked up. At the last possible instant she stopped on a dime right in front of Steel allowing all the dust she had been covered in fly on to him and cover his coat. "Well..." she said in a way that could be seen as flirting but was not meant to be "did you like it?" she finishes, ignoring the fact that she had just covered the scariest pony she had ever seen with dirt and dust.

I looked to the mare after her performance.

"Those who are eager to impress, are eager showing there weakness."

I looked at her a few seconds more. But began to think of her performance.

"... But, I will admit it was none the less impressive."

She was quite maneuverable, and quick on her wings. This Slipstream is proving more and more capable. As for the assassin. I wouldn't need to worry of him.Slipstreams abilities were comendable. I'm ashamed to admit I would like to see more.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Slipstream replied, slightly annoyed by the earth pony's philosophical saying. "I have no weakness, and even if I did I would never show or admit to it. That takes away my advantage and gives it to you. Why do you think I've been so quite, I'm not giving any of you the advantage. For all I know one of you could be the one who foalnapped the bearers anyway." She paused and turned to Steel, looking him dead in the eyes, showing as little emotion as she could "and I'll try to remember that next time." she added as she turned and landed back in the front of the group.

As I saw her fly back to her former position, I reflected on her words. It seems I already found a weakness of hers. She was arrogant, and she was a bit of a short fuse. But, she was quick on her hooves. If she could learn to pass this, she could do great things. But that will have to wait for another time. We have arrived at the train station.
