Pinkie gave a yelp in surprise. While Critical pointed the blade away from his face.

"What I did, was sending the consciousness of the tardis into your mind to retrieve you. You were screaming for help and I merely tried to assist. What wasw happening to you was abnormal. So I deducted that you could not be awoken in a normal fashion."

Pinkie was cowering a bit at the confrontation of the two. Critical on the other hand was holding his ground.

"I, I... Thank you.... I don't know what happened," as Blaze stared into the blade of his sword "nothing like this has ever happened, I've always been in charge of myself, always!, something's wrong here, Clarent..... What's happened to you?" Blaze hoped this was a one time thing, if he couldn't handle a dream, what power of this sword could he handle?

"Riiiiiiight. Pinkie. a word please."

Critical brought his makeshift assistant into the hall. When suddenly, the image of the Sun Stone appeared above the console.

"You didn't have to freak out like that, you know."

 

"What are we going to do about this guy. I can't have somepony who's mentally unstable in the tardis. And don't say a party."

Criticla interrupted her before she could get a word in.

"Hm, I guess we could just watch him until he stops having bad dreams."

Critical began to ponder her words.

"I... guess that could work."

Blaze looked deeply into the blade, he saw the fire and destruction it has caused, "I know you're weary of me, but I assure you, this is not my personality. This has never happened to me before, I've had this blade for years and it's never tried to "'contact'" me, I promise you I will get this blade under control." But Blaze wasn't so sure of this though, he's never had to deal with the power of the blade before

Sun Stone gave a giggle to Blaze.

"Worry not young warrior. With time, you shall wield the blade as it's master."

With that, Pinkie and Critical came back into the console room.

"Alright, here's how this is going down. Pinkie and I will be monitoring you sleep for the next few days to make sure this... incident doesn't happen again. However, this will not stop our reconnaissance mission tomorrow. "

"Fair enough" Blaze spoke to the sword mentally 'Listen here, Clarent, Your old master might have embed the magic of fire into you, but I control you now!, I am your master!' "What time is it now? Is it any where near time to start the mission? If so give me a moment to collect something..."

Steel watched this he walked over "your blade has a mind of its own" steel said "I know the feeling" steel pulled out a dark short sword ((still considered a small blade)) "this is demons bane I haven't used it much because it lives and I can't control it yet" steel said

"This blade shouldn't have a mind of its own, legend never spoke of it, it's supposed to let me wield it gracefully, though this blade tells a story, the story ended with the slaying of its master" Blade knew everything about this blade, he'd read all about it before he even dared touch it, "strange I've used this blade times before and it's never gave me any trouble

Steel thought "salted its own master huh well that may be the problem it's old masters soul may be trapped inside it" steel said "if that's the case then you will have to have a stronger will then the will of the trapped soul" steel said he knew of souls being trapped in many items including blades

"This blade belonged to King Arthur, the will of a King will be hard to break, this blade was forged from the hilt of Calibur and blade of Excalibur, from fire it was born and fire it now controls, Clarent the elemental blade of fire, I've been researching this blade very since I escaped 'him', this blade was only used for good and freedom until it was used to slay King Arthur himself".

Blaze didn't think they believed him, no one really ever has, Blaze wasn't completely sure he believed himself. History was always lost in translation, never completely told in truth, shrouded by deception. "So are we going to get this mission underway or what, I'm ready as I'll ever be right now"

In a flash, Pinkie retrieved the sonar.

"Um. Thank you Pinkie."

Critical began to attach the device to Blaze's hoof. Making sure everything was functional.

"Okay, if something should go wrong, which I highly doubt will, we will watch on the monitors and be able to send somepony in to get you. Now.. let us begin."

As I walked into the bank, I picked out every single camera one by one, "place looks good right now, nothing to report" Blaze wandered around, "turning on sonar right now, let me just look around a little bit, aargghh, dang it.... My head!" Blaze started to direct attention to himself "are you ok?" A voice from behind him said "yeah I'm fine, thanks"

Steel was doing push ups demons bane sat in the corner "pinkie don't touch that sword" steel warned his face the usual neutral look he listened and watched the monitors while doing push-ups preferring to stay in top physical form and ready for anything

"Dang it," pounding Blazes head he tried to see if he was diverting any suspicion towards him, but no one was looking directly at him, Blaze continued to look around at things, Blaze walked around staring at everything with open eyes, he didn't think anyone was watching him, but when can you ever be absolutely sure?

Pinkie continued to watch the monitor on Blaze's progress. Critical was working on something to assist on getting into any vault needed to aquire the necklace.

"Alright I'm picking up slight hints of laughter, but I can't seem to pinpoint anything..." Blazed looked frantically as he took steps to the left and right, if he stayed in the bank without doing anything any longer people would start to wonder what he was doing there, "wait what is that, do you see that?"

"Yeah. I totally saw that back here. Get back so Critical can do what ever it is he does with the information."

Pinkie left the monitor to inform Critical of what was going on.

"Don't tell me. He got caught, is in prison, and is facing charges of execution."

"What? No, he got the information you needed and he's coming back."
"Huh, looks like I owe Rainbow Dash some money."

So critical what did we get from the information?" Blaze wondered what was really back there, he wasn't sure he caught the information and left back to the ship, he still wasn't sure of this vessel it felt all to "alive" almost as if it might be, Blaze knew that wasn't possible though it was probably just an advanced AI

"From what you've sent me, It turns out that the necklace it in the Appleossa bank vault. Which means this got a bit more difficult. I should be able to materialize the tardis into it, but the magic security systems will sound if we enter it before its designated opening times, and I can't go in during opening because the guards or pedestrians will hear the tardis  and go check it out. The only thing I can see is if we disable the magic and then grab the necklace."

"Or let me go in and get it even if the alarm dies go off I can fight my way out and be gone with the necklace " steel said " I'll take more so they will think it was just a random bank robbing" steel was ready to do something in truth he really wanted to fight f

"We could go with the original plan, sound the alarm get everyone out, then I move in and slice the vault open, if steel will allow it, it's quick, easy, and if all goes as planned no one gets hurt, if we do happen to run into any trouble, well... We can handle it I'm sure"

"First off, Steel. These aren't soldiers of the enemy. They're just guarding it from thieves. Second, I don't like to harm others unless it's a last resort. Third, If somepony sees you, they will describe it to the authorities, they will out out a wanted add, and I'm sure Tia would want to know why you slaughtered innocents doing their job. I'm sure that's a conversation you'd enjoy with her."

"Your approach is brute force, we don't need to attract any more unwanted attention then we need too, whoever is talking the necklaces probably has people on the inside guarding the places, if we get caught by a henchman of some sort, the pony who is doing this will know were on to him, and we can't have that right now, not with the things he or she still possess"

Steel shrugged "I never said I'd kill them I can fight with out a blade and I wouldn't mind telling celestia about what I had to do because she shouldn't protect her subjects and moreover couldn't protect the ones that could" steel said he wasn't fond of celestia "and your concern about them knowing won't matter because I'll take other stuff to make it look like a normal bank robbery "

"Whatever. We'll go for the original plan. Disabling an enchantment shouldn't be that hard."
Critical turned to Steel, who was slightly aggravated.

"But, if something goes wrong, you can have your way, just no killing. I can not strain that enough."

Critical turned to his assistant.

"Come Pinkie, I should have that skeleton key done in a bit and I need your help."
