(Silver Star) "I... have no idea. Tourist, remember."

I looked around and i suddenly remembered...

"Well, we are in a festival. So why not get a little festive." (I apologize in advance for that line.)

I looked around for something to do. Lets see here, somethi- AH HA!

"How about some caramel apples?

I REALLY love caramel. I managed to keep my self from drooling.

I looked around and i suddenly remembered...

"Oh, uh, sure." He said, still with his head not in the right place. He hoped that he could get his mind off of the past events.

 

They headed over to the stand. "Well Howdy there Y'all!" The orange mare operating the stand greeted them. "Might I interest y'all with some hoof-likin good apple delights, made with quality and care from only the best at Sweet Apple Acres! We have some apple pie, apple fritters, apple dumplings, apple crisp, apple crumble, apple brown betty, caramel or candied apple on a stick, apple turnovers, apple cobbler, *GAAAAAAAASP* or just apples." She smiles and looks to them for an answer. "Uuuh, We'll have two caramel apples please. I like your hat." Patterson answers. "Wha thank ya kindly sir, Ah like yers too! Two caramel apples, comin right up!" She ducks down behind the counter and reemerges with a tray of caramel apples. "That'll be four bits."

(HA! I didnt even think of that.)

 

(Silver Star) I took one of the apples. I really wish i had a horn to hold this easier. Or at the very least Barricade could be her. That body guard was  a great set of extra hooves.

"So, your tun to pick."

I walked along with pat awaiting our next destination. Then something unexpected happened, i started to wonder about my brother.

"Towards the market? Sure! Follow me!" Choco stated with a giggle as she skipped away from the Flower Shop. "And here's the market! Oh! See that red barn all the way over there? That's Sweet Apple Acres. We'll go visit that after the market." Choco stated. "Everything is quite cheap around here, 4 bits for a bucket of any fruit!" Choco stated with a giggle.

"So, your tun to pick."

 

 

"Uuuuh, hmmmm" Pat was having a hard time deciding what to do as they walked down the road. Then he spotted a horticulture tent, where they were judging some fruit. "I guess we can go check that out. I like plants, especially flowers and decorative plants."

(Silver Star) "Well, it was better than nothing, i guess."

Pat and i walked to the odd colored tent. Maybe something ineresting can happen with fruit...

 

(Im going to give my ponysona somethin... interesting to do off screen panel. Lets him do something and tates up space. Ignore it if you wish., or integrate it into the story if you want. im just bored)

They walked around the tent looking at the assorted fruits and vegetables with all sorts of ribbons, on the tables. "WOW! Look at that pumpkin!" Pat said pointing to the blue ribbon pumpkin labled "993 lbs". "I wonder, how the hay, they got that here?" After looking at the decorative plant section, they exited the tent. "Well what do you want to do next? I really don't care what we do."

(i edited Mr. Critical a tad and gave him a little... timey wimey flare to him. Hes relatively the same... just with a TARDIS now. He still is the same depressed Critic we love. So no worry on story.)

 

(Silver Star) "I have no clue. Maybe that burly Pegasus brought it in here."

I pointed to the white pegasus. Dude was ripped. Like ate his own dumbell for breakfast.

"Well, I guess could go play some carnival games. Bet i could beat ya at ring toss."

 

(Mr Critical) Istood outside of town in front of a M'chanta. Large triped insect.

"Okay, youre gonna want to head to the train station and take the evening trip to Canterlot..."

She thanked me for the directions with a series of clicks and jitters

"... And keep the perseption filter on. Dont want a panic!.. Tourists.

I rolled my eyes and went to town.

"Indeed." Pat replied before realizing... "OH! Uh, Oh really?! Pat said with competitive(-ish) attitude. They went over to the game booth, and Pat payed for a couple rings. Placing one ring in his hoof, he drew back, and tossed...

The ring landed two bottles away from the green bonus bottle. "You go." He said waiting to see if Silver would do better.

(Mr Critical) I had arrived back to town and found myself back at the festival. Not wanting to bump into Silver Star i had to keep moving. 

"Care to take a hoof at it, young stallion?"

I heard a call for my attention. 

"Care for a game. Just find the ball in the cup and claim your prize."

Hmmm... Seemed legit. 

 

(Silver Star) I held the ring in my hoofe, I began to focus on my target. Take a deep breath and... release. The ring flew towards the hist scoring... pole... thing. Almost there. And... i missed. CELESTIA DAMMIT!

Choco waited patiently for Doug to get the items he wanted. "Hopefully he doesn't pack himself with too much..." Choco thought to herself. She then decided to buy an apple, which cost only one bit. She handed the clerk the bit and got the apple in return. She then continued to wait for Doug.

Doug went back to Choco with full saddlebags. "uhm, I didn't know what to choose...." He said jokingly. Then looked down the dirt roads then back to Choco "So, where to next?" He asked excitedly "can't wait to to see what more there is here in Ponyville" he said eagerly.

"Alrighty! Onward to Sweet Apple Acres! Choco said with a giggle as she continued to skip. As they approached the barn, Choco spotted Applejack bucking some apples off some trees to fill some buckets to haul off to the market. "Hey Applejack!" Choco called out. Applejack turned and saw Choco. "Oh! Howdy Choco! Who's this fine colt you got here?" She asked trotting over to the two. "This is my new friend Doug! He lives all the way in Manehattan!" Choco stated. "Manehattan, that sure's a long way from these parts." Applejack commented.

Patterson flinched away from Silver just a little bit, a little startled by her sudden outburst. "Sorry, I just don't like swearing." He reached for another ring, aimed, and tossed it. Aaaaaand... OH for crying out loud. It didn't ring anything. "I guess both of us aren't very good. You've still got another ring to prove otherwise." he said pointing to the ring on the counter.

One last ring, come on Silver. I launched it to my designated target. and it struck a post... the lowest point post actually.

"Okay, so were both terrible at this."

 

(Mr Critical) I walked through the festval yet again, the game host from before left due to some... issues brought to light. Cheatin foal. But it did leave me with a bag filled with bits. Sweet, sweet justice

"Indeed." Patterson replied. He was beginning to get back into the festive spirit. They began to walk down the street again. "Hey it looks like they're having a concert over there" He said looking at an outdoor stage where four ponies where prepping to start.

"That could be interesting. Who d o you think is playing here?"

I turned to him awaiting an answer

 

(Mr Critical) Well ive got a sack of bits, so now what? I then heard a sultry voice eco through my cranium...

"Well I see a piano and a cello sitting on the stage, it looks like some sort of orchestra." Pat said looking closer at the stage. "I really like music, well most music. Want to go check it out?" He asked, hoping that orchestra music was something that would interest her.

I got closer to the stage to see who's up there. And sure enough, i saw my dear friend, Octavia Melody.

"I don't really see what my CO is trying to d by sending me here but orders are orders so here I am until the festival is over," she continued before she gently prodded at the ground with her hoof. They sat down in the grass field, in front of the stage. Patterson pointed to the pony about to sit down at the piano. "Oh, I know him. That's Frederick Horseshoepin, a famous piano player. I've listened to some of his music before. I've heard that Octavia Melody boards with a DJ. Ha! I wonder how well that goes."

"Just a quick trip. If im going to enjoy this holiday, im going to need the help of some exotic fruit.

"Ill set the quardinates."

I began to calibrate the controls and set course for Taurianis V. And im off...

Lightning Feather nodded at Cade's suggestion. "Music. That sounds... nice, I suppose. I'm not too keen on dancing however," she told him. "I've never had any experience with this activity after all," she continued. "I'd appreciate it if you would instruct me in how this is usually preformed."
