Luna grumbled, tossing and turning. She couldn't get into a deep sleep. She opened her eyes a little, groaning. She lifted her head up, yawning.

 

Midnight smiled, holding the door for him. -I hope he likes my room... It's not as demented as his, but it's still pretty dark...-

A new stallion walks into the colony. His white coat shone in the night. it was his favorite time of the day; the night. His beautiful and mysterious tribal cross was there for all to see, his crimson eyed looking around and thinking -Is this Mother's dream colony...?- Mother... a thought he hasn't stopped thinking about for over a thousand years. His missed his beloved mother, and everything about her. His red and black mane was flowing in the wind. "Is there anypony here that can direcg me to the leader of this colong??" he shouted out, his voice a vsry thick British obe. He walkex right by Luna's castle, remembering it as being hers. He wondered if she had came back. He moved the bag that was on his back; it has his cutie mark on it. He knocked on the castle door, hoping abd praying his dear mother was back.

Luna heard a knock on her door, sleepily getting up. She stretched and yawned, putting a blanket around her. "Hey babe, I'm going to go see who's knocking..." she said to Steel, walking out of the bedroom and down the hall. She wondered who in the hay would be knocking this late at night. She trotted down the stairs, hearing the knock again. "I'm coming! Geez!" she grumbled, going to the door. She sighed and opened it. "Yes?" She didn't recognized the pony. ((She hasn't seen him since he was a filly))

His eyes widened as tears filled them. "Mother its me Lightning flair i can't believe you don't recognize me" he started bawling he threw his hooves around her sobbing like a filly. "Mother its been a thousand years since i seen you" his heart filled with happiness "mother do you not remember? My cutie mark should tell you everything!"

Luna blinked, stumbling back a little at the hug. "Oh.... OH! Flair!" She hugged him back, smiling. "Hello, sweetheart... How have you been?? It's been ages. Come on in!" She brought him inside, shutting the door behind him. She looked worn; you could tell the war had put a damper on her health. She had bags under her eyes and was skinnier than before. "Sorry if I look a mess. I was just about to fall asleep when you knocked," she giggled, sticking her tongue out.

He chuckles "grown i suppose" his eyes were really lit up. "Mother you look like you've been in war with that stupid witch, celestia the evil cruel horrible foul that made me all alone in the world." He growled, his eyes quickly changed to a dark crimson red.

Luna sighed. "This war has put a toll on your dear mother, but don't worry. I'm still as sharp as ever!" She smiled, grabbing him by the neck and giving him a noogie. She missed messing around with him. She had almost thought he had forgotten about her. "I'm surprised you didn't find me sooner. Did you have troubles finding the town??" She walked into the kitchen.

"Dear mother.... i left equestria for a thousand years i went to engfin wich explains my british accent I'm here to put that witch in her place and banish her to the sun" he growled as his cutie mark glowed as he follows her to the kitchen "mom... I also came back to find a beautiful mair of my own but don't know where to start... maybe after the- GAH" he laughs a warm laugh as he is put into a noogie

Steel got up to he didn't follow at first but decided that it wouldn't hurt so he walked to the door to hear flair talking about celestia and how it took its toll on her "hey I'm stained steel head of Lunas severity" steel said as he held his hoof out

Grell smiled "after you" grell said

Luna smiled. "Hey babe," she kissed Steel's cheek, then went to the fridge to grab something to eat.

 

Midnight blinked. "Hey, I hear ponies downstairs. Let's go investigate!" She walked downstairs, hearing the voices coming from the kitchen.

Grell sighed "might as well " grell said as he followed her

Steel was surprised he sent a thought to Luna "I thought we where keeping us under wraps "

((Sounds good to me maybe grell will be forever alone maybe him and flair could have a duel or something like that $)

"Hello I'm lightning flair you can call me flair I'm lunas son" he smiles brightly he shakes hooves with steel then he sees midnight his heart beat skips as he gulps "h-hi" his blushing was obvious he never seen a maire so pretty. He leans over and whispers to luna "mom she's gorgeous"

Luna smiled. "Hello, Midnight. What are you doing up so late??"

 

Midnight giggled. "I heard voices down here so I decided to see what all the commotion was about..."

 

Luna nodded. "This is my son, Lightening Flair. Flair, this is my student, Midnight Shine." She smiled at Flair.

"Hi" he blushes darkly "i was raised by luna before she was banished by that horrible witch" his eyes was as happy as ever. "I love the night i sleep all day so i can enjoy mothers gift the moon i hate the sun" he smiles brightly "I'm meeting new ponies yay" his horn glowed with delight

Grell stepped into the kitchen and saluted steel

Steel returned the gesture quickly

"I was hanging out with her and I followed " grell said he seen the way flair acted and knew why

Rosey looked at flair then whispered to grell "looks like your not the only one that likes her "

Midnight smiled. "Hello, Lightening Flair. I'm currently being taught by Luna, so I don't have the connection you two have, but I hope I will soon," she said, going to the fridge. Her wing brushed against his chest as she walked past him.

 

Luna noticed Flair's blush, giggling.

"I'll just excuse myself" grell said as he turned -it's fit the best I have only one constant companion... Death- grell thought as he climbed the stairs and walked back to his room he light the candles and sat down on the coffin

Rosey jumped down when they got to his room and sat opposite him

"If it wasn't for mother i wouldn't have my cutie mark mom even taught me how to raise the moon a long time ago" he gasped feeling her wing and blushed darker. He leans over to his mother "help idk what to do mother she's absoloutly gorgeous" he smiles her favorite filly smile.

Midnight blinked, looking back and watching Grell leave. Her ears went flat and her eyes saddened.

 

Luna frowned. "Well he sure is a sour puss today." She looked at Steel. "You know, you could still talk to him. Tell him that his position isn't everything. You could tell him about us..." Luna blinked, looking at Flair. "Oh um... I don't think you'd like her... She's kind of dark and twisted..." she whispered, sighing.

Steel sighed "it's not that luna it's an excuse for him to be alone you've seen his power" steel said " but you don't know gear it takes to get it he walks alone he abandoned his dreams long ago for his power" steel sighed again thinking of how he gained some if his ability

"Yay! moommmyyy can i keep her?" He grins as he jumps up and down "I've really changed since the last time you met me i broke a lot of necks stabbed and murdered just to survive! A lot of ponies hated me because I'm eternal he smiles sadly. i had to do things that I'm proud of and things i regret.."

Luna blinked. She sighed, putting her hoof to her forehead. "Oh Flair... I should have watched over you more..."

 

Midnight raised an eyebrow, looking over at him. "You sound awfully proud of killing innocent ponies..." She kind of glared at him. "And even if they weren't innocent, you shouldn't go around boasting about that stuff..." She sighed, walking to the table.

"They where trying to take my life! Its survival i only boast because my mother is right here! I have people after my life to try and take my powers it gets sad..." his eyes started to water a little. "i have abilities to control ancient magic.. magics in everything even the air... i have the abilities to control it..."

Steel nodded "I agree flair you shouldn't boast take it form me I've killed many for nothing more than bits then Luna came back and I gave my life to protecting her even at the cost of an old friend" steel said the sadness obvious on his voice he thought back about siren "and great power breads the kind I used to work for "
