Gone Airbourne 21,977 January 1, 2014 Share January 1, 2014 Its alright I guess... not my favorite thing to watch in the world but it is okay I suppose. I'll enjoy watching a game if I have some friends over. But I am no where near hardcore about watching it at all.
Adente 1,000 January 1, 2014 Share January 1, 2014 I hate it because its so illogical for the following reasons: -The ball isn't shape of a ball(sphere) its more like a double edge cone -You hardly use your foot at all in it But I would love her the other-side of the argument of why people love American Football. So what do you think its football completely illogical or is there something I am missing? You seem to only be referencing naming issues as reasons to "hate" football. What kind of reasons are those? I love football because it is exciting to watch your favorite teams, it has a good pacing, and the games can get very intense and down to the wire. I mean, I love playing soccer, but it can be a real bore to watch. Not so with football!
Ceremi 10 January 2, 2014 Share January 2, 2014 I did like it but then they started with all this nonsense about hitting people to hard or even tacking quaterbacks. These guys get paid a boat load, they wear pads and pretend it to be armour, as if they are warriors. Yet if they get hurt or tackled to hard and they whine about it. I say remove rules for tackling people. Let them hit them as hard as possible. Then it becomes a team issue. Mr Brady might not hold on to the ball so long if he knows some one is about to run through him like a train. ALSO I stopped watching football about 3 years ago I think. So maybe the rules are worse or better I dunno, going off 3 year old info.

Scootalove 10,689 January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 I'm a bit indifferent when it comes to football, I don't hate it or like the sport but it is an enjoyable sport to watch. Credit: Moony © Forum FAQ Forum Rules

long gone 8,929 January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 I hate it because people go rabid about it and I don't see the appeal. sounds about right for this state. Sometimes I feel like there are only five people in New England who don't care about sports, and I am one of those five. What's the appeal of throwing a demented egg around? Or hitting a ball with a bat and watching it go flying? Or kicking around a ball? I just don't get it.
Megas 27,626 January 20, 2014 Share January 20, 2014 (edited) I think it's a fun sport to like, and I tend to enjoy it despite the fact that my favorite team(the Rams) is full of losers. That said I still prefer traditional football/soccer simply because of it's international appeal to it Oh, I might as well get this off my chest as well, but American Football fans(and soccer fans....and almost every other sports fans) are some of worst people I've ever seen Edited January 20, 2014 by Megas75
Judgement 445 January 20, 2014 Share January 20, 2014 (edited) I'm an American and I hate American football. Everybody here is bat-crap crazy for it, but to me it is just a bunch of sweaty guys jumping on eachother for no reason. The only sports I like aren't considered sports at all: -Archery -Bowling -Paintball Paintball is most certainly not a sport but watching guys shoot eachother is WAY more fun than watching guys touch eachother by rolling around on the ground. I find soccer/worldwide football much more appealing than the football in my country. Edited January 20, 2014 by Judgement 1 Tom V.S. Boulder: Who will win?
