As long as they don't mention Jesus, or God, or any other biblical titles throughout the songs, I say I wouldn't have a problem with them.

I think the closest I have got to a Christian Metal band is Skillet.

So far closest to bible I saw was song title "Bethlehem". Lyrics are christian themed but don't mention God or Jesus directly at least so far. I still have to check their entire discography (well, 3 albums :P ).

So they sound like they are pretty much like Skillet, but maybe just a tad more Christian. lol

I am not much into Skillet :P In case of Theocracy tbh I had no idea that they are christian band until I've read lyrics. Most of christian metal bands are just... awful because they contain average guitar riffs and some forced lyrics ;/

Yeah, I am not much into them either. The only Album I have of theirs is "Awake" and even then I rarely pop it into my car's stereo.

Well depends on your musical taste, i am love rock and metal, i also listen to industrial, so my advice would be:

If you're looking for some good metal albums i'd say: Eluveitie: Helvetios, or Sabaton: Carolus Rex, if you're looking for a strange combination of genres i would suggest: Russkaja: Energia, and finaly if you're looking for some industrial: Laibach - Volk, oh and Rammstein: Liebe is fur alle da

OH AND how could i forget. Check out the band Ghost B.C dont let their image fool you, they've got really good rock/doom metal/psychadelic metal/rock a bit...it's hard to explain XD,..but they are really good

  • 1 month later...

So I am about to go out and buy a couple of albums at FYE... and was wondering what I should get? I have a couple in mind that I want to buy. But are there any new album releases that are down right amazing?

I think it depends on your music taste.
