@@MagicalStarRain,

"¿¡Tres días!?" (Three days!?) Dorado blurted out. But instead of continuing to speak he was silent for a moment. Contemplating whether to argue or not. However, he just sighed. "Sí usted es muy clara. You make yourself clear Señorita Kanon. Well, if you need me, I will be somewhere is this fine village. Probably practicing my technique. Even though I do not need to. It is already perfect." He chuckled then proceeded to fly out of his chair and towards the door. "¡Adiós! ¡Hasta la vista señoritas!" And with that he left.

Eternity got up and walked over to Star, with a bit hesitation. "Excuse me again Star. But I wouldn't mind learning more about the scroll and the city. I've never even heard of there even being a city up in the north. And what else do you know about the scroll?"

(Time to make you two hate me > :D)

Dorado was flying above Ponyville for not much time until he spotted Monkshood and Ice down below. He remembered seeing those two ponies at their meeting and he was curious what they were doing together. It was somewhat suspicious. He decided to go an interrupt them.

Dorado fly down beside the two ponies. "Saludos my good ponies. Hola señorita." He said to both of them then saying his second hello to the mare, along with taking off his hat and bowing his head to them as he said it. "You two are from the meeting sí? You know me, Dorado. I don't think I quite caught both of your names yet. So what is going on down here eh? And you know señorita... you seem oddly familiar..."

Ice watched as Dorado flew in and her expression and tone dropped back to monotone. "Hello señor Dorado."  *'Great..... Well whatever i don't have to deal with him, i'm not paid to be a diplomat.'*  after a few moments Ice continues. "I've got a familiar face. We where just discussing the coming trip and what supplies to bring, i offered to give my friend here a few of my own as he is rather under-equipped for a northern expedition. But sadly its gotten rather late and i'm going to retire for the evening, it was a long trip here and i plan to get up on time tomorrow." She then turns her head and addresses Monkshood. "I apologize for leaving but come see me tomorrow and we'll see about getting you properly supplied." She then gets up and heads back towards the tavern.

Monkshood

@@AnonBrony, @@Tricksters Pride

The mare's question of weaponry had caught Monkshood of guard. He had never been required to use any form of weaponry for much longer then a few minutes. He opened his mouth to respond to the mare's question as another seemingly interrupted the conversation. He shifted his head to see the twit of a pegasus from earlier, Dorado.

Monkshood groaned with a sense of irritation. Thankfully, the mare next to him explained the situation rather admirably. Perfect, there was less talking he had to do to this one. Unfortunately, after finishing her small speech to the stallion she had decided to leave, but gave Monkshood the message to meet her again tomorrow. He gave a small nod of his head hoping she would understand the gesture.

His vision shifted towards the stallion. "Greetings Dorado, you've seemed to caught me at an inopportune moment. I must soon head back to my accommodations to prepare for the trip ahead. Though first as the mare explained, I'm regrettably understocked of certain essentials, so I must gather as much as possible rather quickly". Turning his head away and walking towards the edge of Ponyville, Monkshood began methodically reciting, nigh arcane sounding, words seemingly trying to list them off. "Datura Stramonium.... Matricaria Recutita.... Schistostega.... Inula Helenium".

@@AnonBrony,@,@@Windbreaker@,

As Dorado flew off the way he did, the three leaders had a similar thought: How are we going to survive with him?

"Well, I have some things to pick up from a friend of mine here. Mostly medicine for Ginseng. See ya at Star's house!" North Shine said as she put on her bags and took off out of the shop and into the night. Kanon sighed at her friend's impatience. She should hang out with Dorado. They're both bakas. She then turned to see Star about to speak to a unicorn stallion and gave her an encouraging wink. She can't rely on me forever. She needs to figure out how to be social herself.

With that thought, Kanon briefly glanced at the audience before picking up her saddlebags. She addressed the audience once more. "Meet us three days from now. Use this time wisely and don't be afraid to come to us for information and training," she said, pretty much repeating herself. She had to though, so that it would stick. As she was about to leave though...

"Kanon, wait."

The sheathed naginata was thrown toward Kanon, who caught with a little bit of her own flair. Star Rain also levitated North's wing blades toward her to give back to the light blue pegasus. "Give those back to her when you're both at my place," Star said as Kanon took them, bowed to her(who bowed back) and the audience, and left, but not without her little farewell in Neighponese.

"Sayonara!"

@@AnonBrony,

Star turned to face Eternity once more, trying to get her mind off the ponies still left in here will question her about the scroll, among other things. She used Kanon's breathing technique to reduce her stuttering, and began to speak in a smooth, distinctive voice like she was a storyteller about to recite a tale.

"Well, I do know that the scroll could grant any wish, that much should be clear. Sages enshrined and guarded it from those who would use it for evil, letting only ponies who would one day become heroes use it. But for some reason, once the wish was fulfilled, those heroes were never heard from again. At that time, the opportunity for a wish was either a prize or a sacrifice. I know of many stories that link to the usage of the Wishing Scroll, but I'll save those for a later time if you're interested.

"There were trials that those heroes had to go through to get to the scroll. Some say that monsters had to be slain in order to pass. Some say that a devious puzzle had to be solved. Some say you had to overcome your fears and temptations. No pony knew for sure, only the words 'Faith' and 'Hard Work'."

She paused to let that information sink in. She was slightly shivering from all the speaking she had to do, to a stranger no less.

@@Nomadic,

There was a medicine shop near the edge of Ponyville, which was North Shine's destination. She flew high over Monkshood, stirring the air slightly around them and landing at the entrance silently. She didn't seem to notice him as she began to converse with some pony who worked there. After a small conversation, North walked out carrying a box that held medicine bottles inside. The box itself read "Ginseng".

(OOC: Your character knows about the plant ginseng, right?)

@,

Chocolate Wish nodded eagerly, before looking over Thunder's shoulder and noticing that the meeting had ended and only the unicorn was left. "You were here for the meeting, right?"

~Thunder~

Feeling his heart give a kick as she silently said yes, the weather pony turned towards where she was looking and noticed the lack of other ponies before turning back to his date and shrugging his shoulders a little. "Well yes, but I sort of stopped paying attention when it became clear that everypony here was insane. Besides, considering the only real thing I desire at this time is to take you out to dinner and that you've already said yes to that, I already got what I wanted without having to go on some dangerously insane quest with crazy ponies first. Can I help you lock up so I can sweep you off your hooves faster?" He asked with a playful grin.

~Myopia~

The meeting was over and almost everypony had left. Raising from his seat, Myopia took a moment to look over at the two remaining  ponies before giving them a sad little smile and reaching into his coat. Removing about ten bits as a tip, he placed it on the table before making his own way towards the door. He had come with some all purpose adventuring equipment already owned and packed, but he would need to get some intentionally designed to handle the icy winter cold. With that on his mind, he vanished into the night.

"Oh. Adios señorita. Buenas Noches." He would say to the mare when she left. Then he would say good bye to the stallion as well. "Ah. I undertsand señor. Buenas noches."  As soon he got there was as soon as the two ponies left him. It was obvious they didn't wish to speak with him. They didn't even like him. And Dorado knew that. That bothered him. He didn't even get their names. He likes getting attention, whether it be praise or being chased by an angry mob. He usually isn't just flat-out ignored though. It was odd. Dorado has usually either been admired, or just downright hated. Usually the later. But ignored...

'Oh whatever. So what none of them like you. You don't need to be praised. You are already great...' He though to himself. He fly up in a hurry and raced towards the edge of town. There he would be shooting some trees with his crossbow if anypony decided to visit. Not like any would though.

"Fascinating! Really it is. A scroll, a magical scroll, that can grant any wish! That is unreal. It must be very, very powerful. Even more powerful than the Princesses. You could change night into day, wish for something unimaginable to appear before your eyes or even... change the past. You can be a god... or well goddess in your case. Though you did say it can grant only one wish. I wonder if you can wish for more wishes, I mean you did say any wish... Oh uhh Sorry. I-I'm rambling again..." He paused"Heroes and trials you said? D-Do you think we will have to do them? Maybe we're supposed to be heroes... some of us at least." He said seeming a little worried about these trials.

Monkshood

@@MagicalStarRain

".........Hyssopus Officinalis". Monkshood was still almost rhythmically listing off the plants he needed, despite having left Dorado standing on the street for a bit. He continued down the road passing building after building, watching as they slowly grew more intermittently placed. He approached what appeared to be a medicine shop as a distracted mare carrying a box nearly trotted into him. He slid out of the way as his bags rattled, yet again, from the sudden jolt of kinetic force.

Rotating his neck, he noticed the box was carried by one of the hostesses, North Shine, from the meeting. His eyes examined the box noticing that it was labelled vaguely only as 'Ginseng'. Intriguing, surely the box wasn't full of nothing but one plant. Monkshood decided, quickly, it would be best to inquire further. "Salutations North Shine, I hadn't expected to see you again so shortly. Your hooves seem a little overburdened there", he stated hoping to grab the mare's attention.

Surprisingly, there was a brief look of warmth on Star Rain's face before she went back to her detached self. "Perhaps. To be honest, the scroll is just second priority to us, although I'm not too sure about-" She stopped there suddenly, not wanting any pony besides her friends to hear her concerns yet. I don't know these ponies. I'm weak and if they know about it, they can use it against my friends and me. And probably my family. My father is already at the city after all...

Chocolate Wish laughed and said,"Not tonight. You should probably head back now, because I have to watch over those two until they leave." She pointed toward the two unicorns, one of them being the unicorn leader she had been keeping her eyes on this whole evening. North Shine looked up suddenly from the box she was carrying. Her face broke out into a wide smile and she said,"Oh hey there! You're the guy who was with that mage, right?"

"If you're wondering what this is, these are just medical supplies for a friend who's waiting for us at that city," she grunted as she tried to balance it with her other stuff. A single medicine bottle that read "Antibiotics" tumbled out. A small scroll also came out of the box. There seemed to be something resembling a spell written on it.

Monkshood

@@MagicalStarRain

Monkshood looked down at the small bottle labelled 'Antibiotics' and the scroll. The scroll intrigued him, yet it looked like something relating to the mystic and was therefore worthless to the stallion. Granted, this friend she had mentioned was interesting as well. He could gather the plants later, besides this probably wouldn't take too long. Carefully, he lifted the two items and gingerly placed them back in the box.

"Perhaps, I could at least assist you in carrying that the box there, and then maybe you could tell me of this friend of yours as well. I must admit you have me most intrigued about this individual", speaking in a manner more collected and calm then earlier.

@@Nomadic,

North Shine had a look of gratitude on her face as she hoofed the box over to Nomadic while she carried the scroll. "Well, his name is Ginseng and he's a healing mage. You look like an herbalist, so maybe you can help him out some! Even though those thugs don't seem to stand a chance against us, he could always use the extra help," she said excitedly. North then stopped and look up and down at Monkshood to get an evaluation of him.

"Hmmm, you don't seem like a fighting type. You should probably come hang with me and the others. We're going to be training in morning," she said eagerly. Sheesh this is hard. How does Kanon do it anyways? On that thought, why was Star the one who had to get all of that practice? I know she acts all cold and stuff to hide herself, but still!

"Well, there's a hotel near the cottage that has a bunch of animals running around and there's a low-paying inn next door to this coffee shop. As for where my house is, it's next to Sugarcube Corner. Monkshood

@@MagicalStarRain

Carefully balancing the box Monkshood followed North Shine as she wound through the streets. "You are correct, I am what some would classify as a Herbalist. Ask me anything about plants or fungi native to Equestria, and I will respond with a nigh Encyclopaedic knowledge of the subject", he told with a slight puff of pride and arrogance.  "How curious your friend, Ginseng, is not here now. I would think with the upcoming expedition his services would be invaluable. Though, I'm more than sure my knowledge of materia medica shall suffice until we arrive. Regardless, I could possibly help him, or maybe he could help me", a playful chuckle rang throughout some of his words.

They continued on throughout the streets. Glancing around, he thought about the final question North Shine had asked. It was oddly reminiscent of the other mare's question from earlier. Everypony he had talked to lately had seemingly been suggesting a lack of combat knowledge. Was it really that obvious? "I'll see if I can make my way for some combat training, but be forewarned I still need to gather some supplies. As I'm still quite low on many things. I think even you would agree that an Herbalist has no use, if they have no herbs".
