"You dare to threaten me boy?" The ghostly figures eyes burned blue and black as he stared back into Chilly's eyes.

"You're power isn't every your own. You steal it from shadows of the past, you have no real strength. Nothing but a grave robber. That power should belong to me now. Give it to me." The flurry of snow and ice advances on Chilly slowly one step at time and with each step the strength of the wind blowing on chilly becomes more forceful.

Wanderlust patted the little filly's head, the presence in the wind seemed to be gone though a sound like a strong gust was coming from where the group was. He hesitated before saying, "It sounds like the fighting's stopped but we have to be careful. Stay quiet till we see what happened and if I tell you to run, you run and hide okay?" Wanderlust slowly lead Willow to peer over some rocks.

As the force of the wind grew stronger, so did Chilly's patience. A wall grew inches from Chilly's face shielding him from the wind. "Is that the best you got?" His voice was dull, and mocking. Soon a trail of ice formed it's way towards the spectre. Once close enough spikes erupted from the ice ready to pierce the figment.

Star sighs again and got up and walked out of the circle ans away from for the fire and shivers"i..i wish i wasnt eve alive,i dont even belong here and i nearly became a slave to those diamond dogs and im just holding the group back with everything that happens".

Steel stood still shivering and followed star out of the ring he grabbed the cloak "hey star what's wrong" steel said as he put the cloak back on her "you're gonna freeze if you don't wear this"

Grell sat down and ate an apple sighing he was tired but he needed to stay up

Wanderlust moved and blocked embers, "What? No. I'm not letting you leave. We are getting attacked by diamond dogs, they are tracking us." He tried to put as much emphasis on that as he could. "It will only get worse from now on, the group needs you. You're a warrior and no matter what personal problems you must face the group needs you. Now tell me how is this your fault and how could you leave the only friends you have left to die." Wanderlust swallowed nervously, "cause that's why I'm still here, this is all I have left, this group. I thought about leaving too but they need me adjust like they need you."

Runedawn clenched of pain when willow jumped on top of him, but he didn't care. "Hey there little one... Let me warm you up. Runedawn pressed willow gainst his chest. Hugging her tenderly. Then the heat of the core started to boil inside him. Runedawn started radiating heat, slowly warming himself and willow up. "There were a few dogs, but I... I scared them off." He said, hoping that willow would ignore the pile of dead, crushed dogs. "Stay strong little one." He whispered. Then he put her down om the ground again.

 

"I think we should either get some rest, or move all the way to canterlot now... But I am too weak to walk properly. I need time to get my blood levels back up, and I think I twisted my ankle..." Runedawn said with his creaky voice.

"H- How c-c-could anypony do this!? Th- th- they are all d- d- d- DEAD!" Willow ran between the corpses, checking each one for a pulse. "Wh- who did this!?" Willow sat down and started crying. Willow stared at Grell. So THIS is what you were doing!? KILLING all of them!? THAT'S WHY YOU SENT ME OFF!?!? JUST SO I WOULD NOT SEE WHAT YOU WERE DOING!?!?!!!?!?!!?"

Runedawn sighed. "Willow, it was me. Please don't hate me for it, but there were seven of them, and all of them wanted to eat us, so I did what I had to." Runedawn saw that willow was staring at their bodies. "Please stop looking, I didn't want you to see this. Cheer up, at least they didn't get to eat anypony..." Runedawm said.

Wanderlust realized that Embers was think he could leave the group to help them and shield them from the cold. But after seeing the thing that was in the wind he knew Embers was wrong, "Embers, I've seen Windigos before, I've been to the north I saw them dance between the northern lights over a carabou tribe as they readied for war. It was one of the most beautiful and eerie things I've ever seen, so believe me when I say it wasn't a windigo; they are never that solid... It-it had to be something else, something worse and we'll need you to help us". Wanderlust paused and added, "think about windigo are ice spirits that lived in the sky the sun literally filled the sky with fire. How could they survive? And wait... What's this about you hating Steel?"

Star looks around and says"TAKE ME ALREADY!" she just sits there waiting to be frozen for her life to be gone and she lays down on the cold ground and closes her eyes so it will be over when she wakes up and shes says"im coming Ligthing Blade we will be togther again".

Chilly didn't have to do anything to keep himself protected. The spirit that was cursed on him was doing the work, letting chilly just stand there. "What is it that you want....your just becoming an annoyance to my presence"

Steel sighed "fine if you way to die fine I can't help somepony that doesn't want help" steel said he put a dagger next to her " if you really want to die" then he turned he heard willow yelling about them being dead "yes they are dead and no I sent you away so I could torturer one then runedawn killed most of them" steel snapped at her "anything else you want to know" steel was no in a very sour mood

Star picks up the dagger she aims its for her chest she swings but then she stops before it it hits her and starts crying"i..im sorry Steel d..do you still love?, i..if you dont i understand" she sighs and hangs her head while still shivering and look at the sky.

Steel turns and walked over to her "if course I still love you star" steel said as gently took the dagger and hugged her he took his cloak off and put it on her "come on star let's get you warmed up " steel lead her to the circle and hugged her go share what little warmth he had

"t..thank you Steel,you must be a little upset i was about to kill myself then" she nuzzles him"arent ypou going to be cold?". she then thinks how dumb that was to walk out in the cold then try to kill herself with a dagger she then kises"your the best stallion to me.

Embers sighed "I hate steel, i hate him to the bone, iv never liked him..." Embers was starting to get cold, he wonderd around looking for his cape he saw other ponys using it and sighed "Iv never really been useful...just sitting around..."

 

Sapphire got up, looking at the pony who was yelling at grell "Come on guys"

Steel smiled and nuzzled her "I'll be fine " steel said "and I'm not upset it's a normal reaction to the apocalypse if I was in your place I would have thought about killing myself to " steel shivered a little as he held her "I love you star " steel said "well train early tomorrow okay "

Star hugs him and wraped half his coat around him"there we will be warm with each others body heat and ok i would love that" Star kisses him"i love you too my handsome tought stallion" she nuzzles again and smile at him and she also wraps one of her wings aroud him for more warmth.

Steel smiled and pulled coat tight around them getting right next to her so their body's touched he put his wing over hers he blushes a little from what she said "you know " steel said " you're very beaitiful and amazing and I find the longer I know you the more I love you" steel said

Grell laid his head down he didn't see sapphire but assumed she was okay

Willow ran into a nearby bush and started crying. Black clouds were coming out of her chest, and burnt up the bush, turning it black, but there was no heat. When she stepped, she left footprints of charred grass. The sun inside her was burning.
