Steel smiled looking at star sleep here slid out from under her wing and went to her frozen one he began to rub it since she had it folded steel laid on that side with his body pressed against her he draped his wing over her to keep her warm -hopefully her wing will unfreeze - steel thought

((I won't be on for a bit because I'm helping at a funeral I'll be back around 12:30))

"I always wear my saddlebag so not many ponies notice but I never got a cutie mark. I'm good at plenty of things but not really fantastic at anything. I've met plenty of ponies and creatures that I didn't like even when they didn't do anything to me. But I've only come to know true hate from one species because they actually hurt me and did things that I could never forgive. You need to think about why steel makes you so mad but it's not hate. Your a member of this group and so is he take your time to work it out, but work it out. And if your afraid that you aren't useful enough than start training everyday practice with Steel it could give you something to bond over. If you want to protect this group become stronger. But that's just my thoughts you can do whatever you feel is right." Wanderlust sighed and walked back to the group and sat down. He let his thoughts drift as he stared off zoning out deep in his own mind.

 

The filly's voice brought him back to reality, "yeah Willow?" He spoke before turning to her and his eyes widened at the sight, "Willow come here! Are you alright?" He put out his hooves to the filly with out thinking reaching for her to come in close to him.

The spirit merely grinned cruelly, "What I want is the world, but not for myself and that is hardly something to discuss now." It took to the air circling around him floating on the wind inspecting him, "Maybe you could be of use... You don't even know how to control that power yet do you? At least not fully. I could help you, train you. Serve the New True princess of this world; you could become something amazing. Join our... 'Family'... her second loyal knight." He moved as close as the ice would let him, " the knight of the north and the knight of the South. Does that have a nice ring to you?"

His face showed no emotion. "What is it that I have to do..." He asked. Figuring this could just be simple and easy step. Once done this nuisance could be easily swatted away. Then he could rid the world of anything that existed. Till he became bored with life.

"Heh heh, slow down down my friend; true power does not come quick and easy. This will take time and challenge you, it will show if you a are truly worthy of the power you have. Currently their is a spirit..." North wind peered closer into Chilly's eyes "... Maybe two spirits behind your power directing it. You must learn to speak with the spirit, and then either convince it to give you full control of it or the easier may be to drive them out and crush them." He smashed his hooves together for emphasis.

 

He sensed something in the earth and slammed his hooves down freezing the earth to drive back the warmth and Earthstriker that had come to spy on them, sure that they were alone again he continued "I'll grant you a connection to the deeper parts of your power so you may speak to the spirit but in return 'South' I have job for you there is a herd of ponies in canterlot among them is an earth pony with a large hammer, he is a nuisance and plans to remake the sun. I don't know how they plan to do this, I need to know so that it can never happen. Find and join this group so the princess may have a colt ready to betray and stop them. If you are interested you'll need to let me touch you so I may connect you to your power more fully."

AndWillow broke down Wanderlust's hooves. Wanderlust almost expected her to be burning hot, but she was mysteriously cold. "When I told you to tell abour the ghost pony, I went to Runedawn, and saw d- d- dead dkamond dogs... it scared me so bad and put horrible pictures in my head and all I saw In their hearts w- was nothing! Then I got sad, and then I got mad, and then Steel came and yelled at meand then we got into an argument! And then Steel called my life 'sob stories'!" Willow sobbed some more into Wanderlust. "And now I'm corrupting everything I touch! I Am A MONSTER!! WAAAAAHAHHAHAHAA!!"(Those were supposed to be crying sounds)

Runedawn was about to release the forces of the earth when he was pushed back by an extreme cold that made the body that he had left behind shiver. He was pushed back extremely far into the earth. The cold was so strong that it only stopped when his spirit had reached hot magma. As he traveled closer to the earth, the voices of his ancestors became stronger, and he was pulled closer. "No... wait, I'm not dead yet!" He knew that he had to escape the earth's pull, otherwise his sould would be trapped and the bloodline would be lost forever. He used the forces he had prepared for the spectre to push himself upward again, through the cold crust and towards the spectre again. With him, a crack started to appear in the earth's stone, exposing the magma to open air.

 

A crack was opened in the earth, right underneath the evil spectre. Steam, two hundred degrees hot blazed into its face, warming up the area instantly. The ice that it had created instantly vaporized. Runedawn used the last bit of his force to travel back to his body and enter again. He had to run to chilly to save him, he knew that using the core would only endager it to the strange ghost. As he entered his body, he could feel that it had cooled down because of the absence of the core's heat, and the power of the spectre. When he opened his eyes with his body again, he could barely move a muscle because of how stiff they were... He was scared that he'd be too late...

"You mean the herd I'm already in?" He questioned. The one with the hammer "runedawn..." He said coldly. "Don't expect to find his body when I'm done" he said with a sick and twisted smirk. He then thought for a second before holding out his hoof "I don't have all day, do it"

Runedawns muscles had warmed up enough for him to start sprinting, grabbing his hammer along the way. He ran through the forest, dodging the branches and rockes in his way. He ducked under one last branch and then emerged from the forest. He saw chilly in the distance and started to scream. "DO NOT TRUST HIM CHILLY!" He grabbed his hammer and but on the 'Arcane' Rune, a rune that counters any kind of magic.

 

He then slipped and stood between the two figures. "I am not going to let you corrupt anypony!" He then turned to Chilly. "Whatever he said, don't believe him, he is a creature of dark force and whatever he is doing is wrong!" He then turned to the strange dark figure again. "GOL AKIIN SUN!" He screamed, and swung his hammer at him.

It swirled and gathered snow trying rebuild itself. The process was slow and by the time he had his form back the earth pony had arrived.

 

"Damn, I almost had him too. My plans are ruined, how horrible." He smiled at chilly, "well South maybe I'll see you again someitme. Do try and connect with your powers yourself." He winked and suddenly receded like the spirit was sucked backwards toward the crystal empire.

Grunting, chilly turned his attention to runedawn. Why did he have to come why did he just ruin this. All these thoughts kept rambling through his broken mind. As he just starred into the eyes of runedawn, with a growing tension between the two. His face, emotionless.

"Okay, well that's good Willow, that's good, we can fix this. it's probably from something that happened then, something you felt or thought. That's a lot better I was afraid that the magic had just become to much for you and was burning out. I was really afraid." He squeezed her again.

 

"So what's different in how you feel now than before? Are you still upset, mad, are you thinking bad thoughts?"

He didn't bother to look at chilly. "Sorry for leavin' ye behind, not very friendly of me... But we have to get goin' right now if we want to beat that... Thing. I think I know where the shards of the sun are, I just need a forge big enough to put 'em in..." He explained while already walking towards the group ahead. "Dit that thing try to get ye on his side... You know you can't let that happen. It will turn ye into a terrible pony' he preached. He then added chuckling: "And then I'd 'ave ta kill you too! We don't want that happenin'."
