Willow once again started being consumed by fire. But now her eyes were glowing a slight purple, and wisps of black clouds surrounded her. but then, out of nowhere, dogs xame and snatched her from Wanderlust's hooves. They dragged her away, and she woke up. "Ow! Let go of me! Please!" She struggled but they cut her with knives. A few minutes later, the dogs arrived at the den, holding a bleeding, bruised, and unconscious Willow "We have found one, master."

Star pulls her hoofs out and then go around unlocking Steels and Embers"ok guys there is a air vent we can escape fromits big enough for us to slip through but the dogs are to big to go in there" Star looks at Cujo and wave goodbye and left him note were there were".

Embers fell down, he was losing blood fast, his mussel was coverd in it, he glared at the dog that was left there "Go die you fat rat, ill die before i let you put me into that...that THING!" Embers started slaming into the wall, losing blood faster "Come here, ill give you a taist of this pony!"

The torture master was busy sharpening a blade and ignoring embers screaming at him while Star slipped loose and freed Embers and Steel. He turned back yelping in surprise and aiming the blade at them, "you ponies are to suffer!!" He charged at them with a long howl

Embers ducked, pushing his sword into his eye, twisting it and throwing him to the ground "No, we will not suffer anymore, now we take back our home!" He said as he took out his sword, he turned his back, looking for a way deeper in "Now, were would that sun thingy be..it sounded, ehhh, fun"

"Runedawn..." A voice, deep and low, resonated im Runedawns mimd. "I see you have decided to use the runes to runesmith your own body and soul... Do not let those dogs get the 'core' rune. If they do get it, they could seriously harm the world by mere stupidity." It was the voice of Austri, the first earthstriker... He spoke to Runedawn as he travelled through the earth with molten stone and iron. The heat did not harm him. It comforted him, preparing him for the battle he was about to fight. "And do not lose the rune representing you either. If they control you, they control the core, and thus us ancients too..." Runedawn knew all this, but it was nice to be reminded of it. "Stand tall like the mountains and fight with the fury of a volcano Runedawn... Strike the earth!"

 

Runedawn erupted from the cave floor right in front of the alpha, rex. The pillar of flames lit up the entire room in such a way that runedawn seemed like a demon, crawling up from the earth. He saw the armor, forged by at least 15 runesmiths, all of them captured by the dogs. Most likely killed and eaten by the dogs too. It infuriated him.

 

"DOG! Where are my friends! Release them now and I shall not harm you nor any of your canine scum men!" He bassed through the cave, his voice so loud that the entire cave system rumbled. "You have violated every value of the Earthstrikers, and therefore you will be punished, but not killed if you surrender immeadiately.

 

Runedawn could feel the runes empowering him. His veins were on fire and his mind sharper then ever. "What do you say, vermin!" Runedawn spat on the ground before rex.

Roxxy smiled at Grell, "sweet of you to say, but even so their has never been a female alpha". She looked a little sad as she closed the solid steel door to lock him in

The decrepit seer closed his right eye, "that the day will belong to the dogs!" His left eye opened in its horrible cross pattern. The rune at the center of the diamond had changed instead of future it said thief and magic suddenly began to stream from Willow into the dog through his diamond eye.

 

Rex turned to Runedawn readying to strike, "you all belong to us" he looked behind the Earthstriker and smiled, "Cujo right on time."

 

(This isn't good guys shit is going down! It's really epic though right?)

Willow was crying in pain. "Embers! Help! Heeeeeeelp! They are going to eat meeeeeeeeee! I don't want to die! I want to be with mom again!" Just before Embers arrived, the dogs knocked her in the head. Willow screamed in pain again. "Embeeeeeeeers!" Willow qas having trouble breathing.

Wanderlust stood at the entrance to the cave he heard yells from inside, he hesitated, he had swore he would never end up in another diamond dogs den again. He couldn't stand to relive the horror he had face in his time as one of their slaves. He heard Willow yell his name and had to close his eyes as he charged into the den.

Embers started spinning, stabing at anything "HOLD ON! ILL GET OUT OF HERE, OR DIE TRYING!" He lunged to the dog who was holding willow "LET WILLOW DOWN NOW!" he stabbed at the dogs legs, droping to all fours and plunging his sword into the dogs fleh "Dont fail me now magic!"

Still he kept only his diamond eye open, and on Willow draining away more and more of her magic. This gave Embers an advantage as the dog was blind on one side and could not look away from Willow.

Star yells for help but she then realize that diamond dogs could hear her"i..i hope no dog heard but if they did i hope Cujo is the one to found me and not the others" Star still laying down on ground waiting for help"if help doesnt come buck it im crawling back".

Willow closed her eyes. She hated seeing the dogs being brutally killed like that, even if they were going to eat her. "Heelp! That dog over there is eating my magic! Heeeeeeeellp!" Willow could slowly feel her life draining away. 'No, Winter Willow, you are strong. Come on, you will be okay.' She thought. She thoughr about Celestia and Luna, her parents... she thought about what she would do with Luna once they found her... suddenly, she was surrounded by a shining light. "NO!: She screamed.She released a huge wave of magic, vaporizing the dogs holding her, and knocking the seer to his feet.Shhe was shining a brilliant white.

Runedawn laughed at the dogs. Their stupidity and ignorance was endless. He grabbed Willow and put her aside him in at impossibe speed. He put one hoof om her head, and the magic stream to the stone seer stopped. Runedawns arcane rune began to glow.

 

"Fools, do you not know what you have in front of you. I am not just an earthstriker... I am the force of the world. Do you really think that you tiny little mortal dogs can conquer a force that has been keeping the world alive since the dawn of time? I am going to kill all of you, and this cave is going to be your grave.

 

Underneath runedawn, the same circle-triangle pattern appeared out of nowhere in the ground. It was glowing bright red. "Do you know the cause of earthquakes alpha? If you don't comply to my request, you are about to witness it..." He yelled: "All ponies to me now!"

 

He looked at the seer, and decided that he could be a nuisancd. He let the hilt of his hammer slide down in his hooves, and its underside hit the ground. A short, but powerful directed quake knocked over the old dog. It probably also pulverised few of his bones...

 

He then turned around to cujo, swinging his hammer along the way. He hit cujo with so much force that a sonic blast exploded in his face. Runedawn had swung his hammer faster than sound. Then suddendly Runedawn collapsed. Only these two actions already had depleted most of his energy. He quickly got up again, and felt extremely tired.

Embers covered the seers face and slammed his sword forward expecting to run in through the dogs head. Instead he heard a clink and the sword stopped just after piercing the cape. The cape then suddenly burned away to show the sword directly on the seers diamond eye. His other eye was open as well now. The rune in the diamond eye read burn.

 

Then suddenly Willow blasted the room with light throwing the seer away before he could glare the rune at embers.

Embers got flung to the ground, his face exploding with blood "Come on....you have...no idea...how much i payed for that....thing" He slowly got up and stumbled to the wall, he looked at rune and sighed "Come on man, this one is my dog to kill" He got up and started walking to the seer, he fell halfway there but got up and grinned, "Come on, is that the best you can do?" He pulled his sword back

Willow's voice was diffwrent. It was that of Celestia's parents, and her shadow qas not hers... It was Celestia's. "No Runedawn. You are tired. Leave this to us." Willow was surrounded by a white aura, and she zapped the seer with a concentrated beam of light. "You foolish dogs... Your fate lies on these ponies. They die, you die. STEP OUT OF OUR WAY!" She released another wave of magic. Runedawn heard a voice in his head. <Runedawn, you have succeeded. You have taught Winter Willow the power of tenacity. You did well, Runedawn. Protect her...>
