Building up too Much?

Now first of I love this season so far, I do.

I do enjoy the long season arc and the foreshadowing of an epic finale

 

Now with all that said there may be a problem with all this buildup. Now don't get me wrong I like it, but at the same time it is worrisome

 

 

Look for the so far we have a box. Next we have the keys that at this point I think will be symbolic keys. We also have a shadow pony to probably act as an antagonist as well as Flutterbat being a thing. The comic book may mean nothing.

Every episode some far (minus Flight to the Finish) has had some hints for the finale.

 

This is where problems may arise. If you keep building up the ending as this epic event (that may be the case) you are going to have to live up to those expectations.

 

We are being hinted at something big as early as the first two episodeds so that bears a risk of not meeting expectations or being handeled wrong.

 

But then again I may be thinking too much about a show about pastel colored horses and should just forgery about it.

I kind of wish they bring back the Changlings again, or even Twilight has nightmares about Chyalis or something lol

By the way the episodes are going, it does seem like they're hyping it up a good bit. I'm not really too worried as I enjoyed every season finale (from The Best Night Ever, to A Canterlot Wedding, and even Magical Mystery Cure). I have a feeling they should be able to deliver to all of the hype, if not, it's a real shame. Your worries definitely aren't uncommon, I'm sure tons of us have had the same feeling and it usually ends fine.

Apparently one of the writers confirmed that the Pony of Shadows wasn't going to come up again and was just a gag ending. I don't have any proof or anything, I just heard it in a review video.

And, I personally think that the finale should be able to live up to expectations. I at least have a little faith in the writers and I think they will have something great in store.

Also, is it a two part finale? If not, then I guess there could be some pacing issues in resolving all the cliffhangers. ^^;

Im personally worried a tiny bit but I get worried over the finale of every television show I like and it almost always works out. It would be interesting to see a three part finale because they already decided to do an overarching plot so why not.

I honestly am getting annoyed at the teaser endings.  It worked in Castle Mane-ia and Rarity Takes Manehattan, but the other two times it was annoying.  I do hope they go somewhere with these, at least most of them.

well,

 

here's the thing.

 

all of season 4 is done.

so we have to lump it for now.

further more no one (including brother tommy oliver who's waffled back and forth on their meaning recently)

knows if theirs a pay off.

 

is it tiresome?
you bet your flank it is.

Will it be worth it?

I"m starting to doubt it LOL but we'll see

I think the hyper with the teaser endings isn't exactly bad but, I don't think it's needed because we want to be surprised when we see the episode.
