More personalized profiles

So, I was thinking. What if we were given the option to add a song to our profile, that plays whenever someone goes on our profile. 

Like, we upload our own sound files and such. Perhaps this would be a bit too much trouble with all the inappropriate music out there.

Perhaps something could be done to where we upload it, then a moderator listens to it and checks it over. Perhaps a new moderation group could be made specifically for this aspect. I would volunteer, but it's unlikely you would allow a random person to be a moderator, or 'music' moderator at that. As I said, this would be a nice little addition to the MLP Forums, and thank you for your time. xD

The problem is, this feature would be far too annoying to many members as a lot of people are either in a situation where:

 

1. They are already listening to music

 

or

 

2. They are in a public place without headphones

 

For this reason, the best way to cover this is to just add a youtube video or a soundcloud link to your profile that can be toggled manually by the member if he or she so desires.

It would be cool but sky chaser is right some people might not like that because it might brother them when there on there music and if you don't have headphones on if you were in public man that would not be good because it bother the people around you so yea

It would be cool, but as everypony else stated, if you're in a public place, it is REALLY embarrassing.

I concur with Moon. While it would be an interesting way to customize your profile, it has too much potential to negatively affect users if it were something that played automatically. In addition, having to manually initiate listening to a song linked to on a user's profile also helps to take care of the inappropriate content issue - while it may not necessarily be content that would be against the rules, users could exercise personal discretion to determine whether or not it was something that they would feel comfortable listening to.
