The glorious city of Neighssau stood like a gem amongst the waves of the Caribbayan Sea. The island city looked like your average paradise, with white sands on its beaches and blue water for miles around; sparkling towers and bright lights, and of course, the abnormal amount of tourists that often flock to spots like this for honeymoons and vacations, much to the irritation of the normal populace.

One pony, a well-groomed lavender colt with a mane that showed obvious signs of attempted taming, seemed to not mind the tourists, however. As he dashed about the penthouse apartment he lived in, tidying things almost obsessively, making sure the room was pitch perfect, he hummed a march. A pony with a careful eye might have observed that his movements seemed like they almost could have been choreographed to the song he was humming as he whizzed about the room, throwing lone socks and soda cans into bins, perfectly in step with the song he sang.

The room really was extravagant. The walls were painstakingly adorned with patterns that could only be compared to sheet music, and various, oddly shaped cases were alone in a corner. The room was well lit, as one wall was literally nothing but window, giving a spectacular view of the ocean. There were a number of doors out of the room, as well as a spiral staircase leading both up and down. Through one door a kitchen could be seen, and through another, a bedroom, although the colt closed the door to this room quickly as he heard a knock on the door to the apartment.

Trotting over to the door, Encore opened it, revealing two ponies. He immediately recognized them as the well-known electronic music duo Riffraff. It was hard to mistake the reflective, full-body outfits that made them look like nothing more than robots. Even their faces were hidden. Wondering why they would bother to wear their costumes to what was supposed to be a party, Encore invited them in.

"Hello! It's wonderful you both managed to make it," Encore remarked as the pair trooped in, carrying a synthesizer, a computer and a projector. "I'm afraid you're going to have to wait a little while before we start anything, our other participants need to arrive. I'm Encore, I'll be one of your hosts for tomorrow's event." He paused, as if waiting for one of them to say something, but neither did. The slimmer of the two, who Encore guessed must be a mare, nodded, and her full-faceplate lit up with a thumbs up. "You can set your equipment over there. Feel free to do whatever; there are soundproofed recording rooms upstairs if you need to practice. There's a couch you can sit on, and a few games and whatever, and there's an open bar, but we suggest you don't get too far gone until after we announce tomorrow's rules. Once that's done, you can head down to the beach to see the venue and get wet, if you like."

The taller's visor read, Thanks, and the pair trooped off into the apartment. Encore stood by the door, greeting the famous Octavia, who was punctual as ever, and mumbled to himself, wondering where Taps had gotten to.

For the most part, you can enter in much the same manner that Riffraff did. You can just play it off as if Encore gave you an identical little lecture as you enter, don't feel the need to make me post that again. He's learned it by heart.
However, feel free to interact with Riffraff, Octavia, or Vinyl, who will all have already arrived by the time your OCs get there. They're very punctual.

Scribblegroove was slowly walking across the street, with a smile on his face. The sun brightened up his eyes, and those showed the obvious emotions of confidence and happiness. He was making his way through the town towards the giant penthouse that would apparently house the beach bash. He felt in his element, around the tourists who were all looking at him. Not because he was looking strange, but because he was producing sound... out of nowhere.

But nothing is like it seems. Scribblegroove was just concentrating on the music he wanted to project through magic. It was a nice little spell he had learned when he was still a scholar. One of the elders had helped him figure out how to do it, and he had perfected it up to the point that he could now play music while at the same time doing anything trivial, such as talking and dancing, as long as it didn't take too much concentration. Thats the big plus on Scribblegroove. No electronics, no instruments, you are literally listening at his mind...

The big downside on Scribblegroove however, was that he was very aware of his obvious talents, and unique approach, and he was not exactly modest about it. In fact, Scribblegroove is usually a total dick. However, he can be nice if you gain his respect, or if you talk him down enough, which can be quite hard because of his immense ego.

He finallly arrived at the front door. He stopped playing the music and rang the bell. The pony who opened was greeted in a friendly way, and as soon as he entered the house he inspected everything immeadiately. There were already a few inside the house, setting up their instruments and electronics. "Well hello there fillies and gentlecolts. My name is Scibblegroove... Maybe you've heard of me, maybe you haven't. I'm from canterlot, how about you guys?

Flash shuffled his way along with the many ponies in the city, careful not to bump into any of them and occasionally checking on his equipment to make sure it hadn't been stole unknowingly. He dislike cities, they made him feel cramped and brought him a lot of anxiety even though he had grown up in one. Usually he found the ponies to be mean, unfriendly and always trying to back stab you. But he didn't feel much of that which only worried him more and made him rush to the place where the party was held.

Once there, Flash took a few minutes of readying to knock on the door and then retreating away from it a few feet before going up to it again trying to get over his social anxiety. Once he had finally gathered himself and approached the door before giving it a quick few knocks and then taking a step back.

He was then greeted by a nice colt, which eased his anxiety a bit and replied with a small whisper of a 'hello' before he cleared his throat and tried again. "Hi... umm, thanks." was all Flash could think of to say before he figured he should just go inside and find a good corner to literally hide his stuff, not that it was going to get stolen. Flash noticed a few other ponies, one of which he was familiar with by name: Octavia, but the others he hadn't really heard of much.

Flash made his way to the far side of the room and found an empty corner and set all his stuff there before going over to the couch and decided he'd simply sit and wait for the other to arrive so he could observe them.

Diamond (proper as always) made her way down the street towards the party...which she honestly wasn't looking forwards too but knew that it'd be stupid not to go. She had never been fond of parties and would be pretty sure that this place would be full of...awful genres like...dubstep. She shivered at the thought as she walked up to the apartment door, giving it a knock. She stepped back and took a puff from her cigarette sitting in a cigarette holder.
Her clothing was...simple but quite pretty. She had on a large round black sun hat and a large airy light purple scarf which fluttered near her hooves.

She greeted the colt at the door with a friendly smile and walked in, being sure to put out her cigarette and dispose of it before anypony got angry. Diamond never seemed like much of a smoker, the smell never lingered around her.
After doing that she looked at the room around her, deciding to wait by the kitchen door. Her mind wondered off about Star saying she was probably going to be late. Diamond hoped that Star would make it but knew there was a chance she would be doing other things.

@@Scribblegroove

A few minutes later, a pretty blue mare wearing a very old tattered leather jacket and some shiny light green shades gave the door a knock before pulling off her headphones, which were blasting dubstep loud enough for the whole building to hear...maybe not...but it was pretty loud. She used her magic to drop them in a large saddlebag on her back which had a keyboard, a controller, and a small mixer...lots of stuff for one mare to carry, though she seemed fine.
She greeted the colt at the door like an old friend, giving him a tight hug. "Hiya doin' man? You must be that Encore dude I've been hearing all about...its awesome to meetchya." She said grinning before trotting through the door, putting her things near the corner of the room before walking up to the first pony she saw. "Hey there, the names Rhythm...the DJ." She said, holding out a hoof to shake his and smiling. "So you're Scribblegroove, eh? You make all that jazzy frazzy stuff right?" She asked, her hoof still out to shake.

Another day, another bed. Amber was used to this routine by now and didn’t seem  to give it any second thought. Prying herself from the grip of an unconscious stallion she glanced at the bedside alarm clock. The result caused her eyes to widen in shock. “Oh bugger.” She silently cursed herself. That must have been some night.

She was late, very late in fact. Amber quickly collected her things and took one last sip from a discarded gin bottle before sneaking out. Her invitation to the Beach Bash had come as a great surprise to the small town DJ. With very few shows under her belt Amber never expected that she’d actually stack up to the likes of DJ-PON3 or Octavia Whatsherface. Classical wasn't exactly Amber's forte, far too dull for her tastes.

Of course none of this would matter if she didn't actually show up to the bloody 'meet-and-greet'. By the time she had galloped up to the penthouse her hangover seemed to have fully kicked in accompanied by a thundering migraine. Her vision was still a little hazy but it would wear off soon enough. Quickly fixing her dishevelled mane Amber unceremoniously entered the apartment.

"Hello! It's wonderful you-”

“Yeah, nice to meet you too whatever you name is.” Amber walked past her host and towards the couch, instantly collapsing into its embrace. She’d wait a bit for this feeling to wear off then start thinking about music and stuff like that. Her kit would be over in an hour, until then she could just relax.

Scribblegroove shaked the mare's hoof and answered. "Well, jazz, groove and funk, but mostly jazz yes, and and I hope to bring the most intellectual music genre back on the map. It hasn't been very popular for a few... Well, decennia. But hopefully I can change that. It's in my name after all. The groove. I hope to make you guys feel it as well!"

Scribblegroobe inspected the mare with a quick analytical scan: ""Poorly cared for attire, preposterous purple shades. Blasting something through her headphones that couldn't be considered music, let alone bareable to listen to at all. Has no sense of her surroundings, and is probably low educated."" Scribblegroove gave her one of his fake smiles. "I do hope that what you are listening to now is not the only genre that you will deliver to us tonight. I am not too fond of dubstep, no offense..." He looked around at alle the ponies setting up their equipment and instruments. "I suppose you will not be using any real instruments in your performance?" He said with a grin. "I can't judge you really, neither will I!" He tapped his horn. "I've got this guy for that!"

He then turned to look at diamond. ""Aah, excellent composition between simplicity and classiness, obviously knows how to act properly, and most of all, she is mysterious!"" the mare had sparked his curosity.

He stepped to her, leaving rythm behind befor she could even answer. "And who might this mare I have the pleasure to be in the vincity of be. Might I say that your simply radiate confidence and beauty? You outshine us all. The stallion you have the pleasure of adressing is named Scribblegroove... Charmed, really" scribblegroove said.

Flash had been paying attention to the one mare with the headphones and the stallion who had a short conversation before he felt the couch sink a bit more and a small, almost inaudible yelp came from him. He quickly turned and saw another mare who had, by the looks of it, thrown herself into the couch. He was sitting at least a cushions distance from her but he felt his space was becoming invaded. Of course he did chose the couch and should have know it would attract other ponies.

Without much of a word, except muttering an apology for 'taking up space on the couch' which the mare may or may not have heard and shuffled over to the corner where his stuff was, looking for some sort of escape. He found his small music play and his headphones an played himself some calming music while he continued to sit back and watch the others.

Upon noticing the presence of another pony sitting next to her Amber brushed her dark blue mane from her eyes to get a better look. He wasn't too bad a looker, but his mane was a rather sorry thing to look at. Then again, she was in no position to judge having only just gotten up from a drunken night and her mane paying the price. It seemed to stand in precarious angles that she didn't even know were possible until now. I guess this was negated by the fact she really just didn't care.

She flipped herself over on the couch and spread out so that she actually took up most of the space between them. Her limbs were slow to cooperate but they managed to flail into a comfortable position. From this light she could actually get a better look at this stallion, who she could now tell was a unicorn by the blurred outline of a horn. He was an okay build, nothing special. Well, there's an hours worth of time to pass till her kit arrives, might as well fill it with something.

"So," Amber spoke in a rather playful manner, while also trying to mask her thundering hangover. "Who are you supposed to be? You don't exactly look like a musician."

Flash looked at the mare. He wasn't exactly sure what to think of her seeing her messy mane and he could tell she was in a hangover thanks to his friend back home who always came home drunk from the weekly parties. He once more looked her over without a word. After a moment he simply raised a hoof and waved to her despite her close proximity to him which he didn't really enjoy but he wouldn't say anything about it. Afterward he went back to watching the stallion who had rudely walked away from the one mare who's music he could somewhat hear through his low volume. "Hmph, friggin jerks...." he said loud enough for the mare next to him to hear, unknowingly. He had thought he had whispered it, still looking at the stallion.

And as I said, Scribblegroove is a dick to anyone he doesn't respect, and dupstep is the exact opposite of music in his opinion. IRL I don't really care for dubstep, so he doesn't even care what you have to say about not playing dubstep, listening to dubstep is enough for him to lose interest. but I don't hate it...))

Scribblegroove was happily surprised "Mysterious, has a taste for class, music and musicians... I am beginning to like this mare... Time to impress her" Scribblegroove grinned at Diamond. "Some of my songs? Filly, you tell me any genre, you give me a name of a song, you give me a mere melody, and I will compose any song you would like and play it here on the spot. That is one of the perks of being able to create music magically!" Scribblegroove tapped his horn. "You might not know this, but all my records haven't got any real instruments in them! My talent is imagining music in extreme detail. I turned this seemingly useless talent into a glorious one with one little spell! I'm not joking, try me! Which one of the songs I composed would you like to hear? Covers are not a problem either, as long as I have heard the song at least once in my life. I might even give it a groovy turn!"

(this list is going to be longer, but this is it for now. Consider this one or two of Scribblegroove's albums http://grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/All+My+Songs+D/93823663. "The groove" is Scribblegroove's personal favourite.)

Scribblegroove then suddenly altered his approach. "Oh, but excuse me, I haven't been very polite to you only rambling on about myself. Please excuse my boasting, I can't control myself." Scribblegroove brought up some fake red cheeks and tried to look ashamed "Thank you acting classes..."

He then pulled his coup de grace. "Tell me about yourself. You seem very interesting. The way you act, look and talk. You must have quite the story to tell!" Scribblegroove gave her his best smile. "I can be a good listener you know!" Scribblegroove exclaimed with a bit of a cynical tone in his voice, ridiculing his previous behavior. "Bingo. Impressing, Apologizing, Listening and Self-deprecating. The four -ing's to success! You got her in the bag" He thought.

@@Scribblegroove,

Diamond listened in silence...he seemed like an interesting colt though she felt a little torn when he spoke of being able to play music through magic. It was an interesting talent to say the least but Diamond's first thought was that it was...fake? When thinking of music, she thought of...instruments, not mimicking instruments by using magic. Still though...she was impressed that he could manage such a thing.

She smiled a bit as he put the focus onto her and shrugged. "My story's long and depressing. I was born in Canterlot. Both my parents quite important ponies. I was raised by a nanny, who treated me quite well...unlike my parents who ignored me at all times. They died travelling through the everfree forest for a meeting in manehattan, ponies suspect that they were killed by thieves but no pony knows for sure, though I was sad at the passing of my parents, it gave me a chance to...we'll say be free. I moved to ponyville and took up singing more professionally...and now I'm here." She said, using her magic to flip her scarf around the back of her neck so it wasn't dragging on the floor. "Most feel bad but...I'm neutral on the subject." She said.
Diamond wasn't sure what to think of this colt...he seemed interesting to say the least...but she felt like he was hiding something, as if he had some sort of plan.

Just then, Diamond noticed Star walk in through the front door, holding a guitar on her back. The light blue pegasus zebra mix gave Diamond a wave as she put her guitar in the corner before trotting off to socialize with some of the party goers. Diamond waved back before looking back at Scribblegroove. "That's Star, a close friend who agreed to do some guitar and backup for the performance. Anyway...where were we?"

Rhythm, eager for more socializing...maybe with some ponies more into her kind of Genre, sat down on the coffee table across from a colt and mare, holding out a hoof to shake each of theirs. "Hiya, you two look nice enough. Hope I'm not interrupting. I'm Rhythm Runner...you can just call me Rhythm." She said, giving them each a friendly smile as she used her magic to pull off her glasses, slipping them into her jacket pocket. "You two seem nice enough. What are ya gonna play? I sing and DJ, got some cool stuff planned for the next few days." She said, happily, doing her best to be friendly, not wanting to...well she didn't really make any mistakes talking to that colt, he just seemed...rude.

Scribblegroove's jaw dropped. He expected the mare to slowly ease into liking him, not to tell the story of her life immeadiately. "Mysterious, and unpredicatable... Geez, I think I am falling in love with this mare!" He didn't know what to say at first. He quickly tried to assume his witty attitude again.

"Well, that story is quite depressing. You kinda caught me off guard here, I didn't think you'd open up this quickly... Still, it seemed that it has only done you good. If you look at who you've become now, I'd say life has worked its way over the bumps in the round for you. Since you opened up, I could tell you how I ended up here as well, but that is quite a boring story really. My life has gone perfectly up until now. I am actually quite lucky. I've been lucky my entire life..." Scribblegroove tried to change the subject.

"I believe you were about to choose a song for me to play for you. I think I have  a good proposal. How about we both show off in front of these ponies. Choose a song that you can sing, and I'll play it for you. I don't sing a lot, so we could make a good team! Unless you want to keep playing with star of course. I am not forcing you. But how about just this song."

Scribblegroove smiled. Then he thought of one song that he had wanted to try, but had never found a vocalist for. "Hold on for just a second." He said while he went for his bags that were in the hall. He got out the papers for it. He walked back to diamond and showed her the music sheet. "I could use a mare vocalist for this... you think you can sing it? It is too high for me, and I can only produce the sound of instruments and my own voice. I'll do the five side vocals, you can do the lead!"

((http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvKUttYs5ow, I know that some of the side vocals are actually higher than the lead, but just pretend that this would work out ;) ))

Scribblegroove was dissapointed, but didn't bother too much. "Oh well, maybe next time." He answered her. "But please, tell me more about yourself. Where exactly did you learn to sign, and did someone teach you, or are you self thought. Do you have a specifc genre and instrument that you favour over others? I have already told plenty of myself already, so tell me more about you! Unless of course you want to hear a boring story about my life with everything going jolly good... I haven't really heard of you to be honest. I don't perform a lot, and I only work with a specific set of ponies that compose songs with me. My audience is not very big, and I don't get to see much of other performers, no matter how famous they are... So it's really my fault that I don't know you. What kind of music do you make?" Scribblegroove had dropped his standard act of courtsy and just wanted to get to know the mare now...

Scribblegroove softly started playing a song called 'when it rains' to comfort them as they spoke. A little background jazz always helped the conversational atmosphere.

"May I suggest we find us a seat? I do not feel like standing around the entire evening..." Scribblegroove looked around to see that the sofa was currently occupied by three ponies. The sofa on the opposite side of it was unoccupied however. Scribblegroove l stepped forward to the piece of furniture, past diamond. Then he turned around again. "Unless you wish to stand over here for now... I don't mind"

(see grooveshark list I posted earlier for the song. It's rythm is really weird, cause the drums play in 4/4 and the piano plays 3/4... I love it a lot!)

Flash looked up at the new mare who had joined them. One mare was bad enough that she wanted to talk to him, but now two? Not knowing what else to do he levitated his laptop over to himself and quickly opened to try and hide behind his computer screen from the new mare. The screen lit up and he plugged in his headphone before opening his music program before glancing over at the hungover one, showing a flash of a smile to her before he realized it and attempted to hide his red face from her. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen. He came in, sat back and watched for a while. No one ever came up to him! Still, at some point he was going to have to suck it up and talk so he peeked from behind his computer. "Hi...." he began in a sort of whisper, but not really a whisper, it was quiet. "I'm... um.... Flash." he then retreated behind his computer once more trying to think of something to say.

What a stuck up little prick. Amber stuck out her lip and put on her best pouting face, turning away from the rude stallion and looking back out across the room. She knew his type. He was probably one of those guys who thought he was so much better than everyone else.

"Hmph, friggin jerks...." The stallion said a bit louder than he should of. Amber felt the urge to turn and slap him for that one. First impressions were off.

“Self-righteous prick.” She muttered under her own breath.

Then another mare cam and sat opposite them, greeting them warmly for a change. At least she wasn’t an asshole unlike some here. He even retreated back to his laptop. Amber looked her up and down, letting a small smile creep up her face. She looked nice…  presentable I mean. Whatever. “Amber, just Amber. Nice meeting you Rhythm.” She sat up a bit, making herself a bit less slouched. “I like to think of myself as a DJ, I guess we have something in common.”

When the other colt retreated to his laptop Amber merely rolled her eyes at him.

@@The-Master,

@@Marathon,

Rhythm chuckled as the colt pulled out his laptop and quickly hid behind it...though she thought she heard him say hello. She chuckled, knowing that he was just shy and gave him a wink before looking at Amber. "Bout time I met another DJ. My first attempt at meeting some other musical artists I get turned down for some prissy looking alicorn." She laughed, obviously not that upset over it. "But what are ya gonna do, am I right? So...what kinda music you make, Amber?" She asked. Rhythm was always looking for somepony to collaborate with.

@@Scribblegroove,

Diamond smiled and nodded, quickly catching up with Scribblegroove with a flutter from her wings. She sat down on the couch, leaving enough space for Scribblegroove to sit before she spoke. "I sing quite a bit. I'm self taught and first started when I was around six. Since then I've sung music every day." She said, with a smile. "And as for what I sing...allot. Though its usually orchestral, Indie, or swing. But I have sung some other things in my life...my teens were full of Rock and stuff." She said, laughing at the memory. "So...do tell me about your Jolly good life...You have me interested."

Scribblegroove sat down nexf to diamond. "Well, in a nutshell... When I was young I had a talent for magic. My passion lied with music and art, but I couldn't express the music that I came up with correctly. Eventually my magical talent saved the day. One of the elders tought me this spell when I was a scholar. It is considered to be a hard spell, as it requires you to concentrate perfectly on the sound you want to convert from thought to sonic waves. Since I had a talent for 'imagining' music, the spell was fairly easy to me. I graduated from the magic schools by perfecting the spells use with certaim techniques. Now I can basicly compose anything, and play it immeadiately with just a thought. No need for equipment, or practice in an instrument. Not having to learn to actually produce music, I had a lot of time studying the actual creation of music. That is why I can now analyze and break down every music piece I hear. I had more time to study the theories behins composition than anyone else..."

Scribblegroove smiled at diamond. "From there on it was pretty easy. My nephew has a sound editing cutie mark, so he created a custom mic and recorded me. Since then a small team of talented jazz muscisians has formed a group around me. Together we write the most complicated and innovatie songs of these days, since there is no limit to what I can play."

Scribblegroove suddendly burst out in laughter. "They once tried to pull a joke on me by putting as many notes on a music sheet as possible, but I could still manage to play it after a few days of practice. It sounded like shit but I played it for hours just for revenge! I have a lot of fun with those guys. We're good friends."

Scribblegroove looked back at diamond. "You could say that the only sad part about this story is that the audience for Jazz musiv is pretty small compared to... A lot of genres that are in my opinion simply below jazz in general." He said while looking at Rythm on the opposite side of the room. "That is why I always say that jazz is the most intellectual genre. It is the most difficult to compose. It would just be so nice if more ponies would appreciate jazz."

How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Three percent of the population likes classical music, if only we could get it up to four percent we'd be back in business and all our problems would be over." How would you walk, how would you talk if you thought: "Everybody loves classical music! They just haven't found out about it yet!" It's an entirely different world. It's what you make of it that counts.

I found an easy way to find out if you've inspired someone. If their eyes are shining, you know you're doing it!

@@The-Master, @,

Flash listened on the two converse, hearing that they were DJs perked him up a bit and again peeked around his computer. He looked at the one next to him and figured that he could possibly join the conversation... but that last thing he wanted was to make it awkward so he kept his headphones on and unplugged the jack from his computer and opened up and old song. He thought over playing it and decided not too as Amber seemed to have started ignoring him and so he closed his laptop and set it aside. "Sorry for not saying hi..." he said aloud, looking away from Amber, a rare bit of confidence but just enough to speak audibly. Flash levitated his headset off which allowed his messy mane some freedom.

"And with a sigh, she closed the old dusty book and set it gently back on its self. Wishing for a better day to come tomorrow. So that today can be forgotten and lost in the memories of that book..."

Awesome! Somepony I can actually geek out about music with. "I know what you mean, allot of the other ponies around her can be a bit uptight. It's like they're missing the point of what they do." The more she talked the more she began to relax, she'd even forgotten her headache. "I do Electro and House, a bit of Dubstep here and there. I'm pretty easy I guess."

When Amber heard Flash apologize for ignoring her, or what seemed close to an apology anyway, she was reluctant to accept it at first. But... she couldn't wallow in self pity forever. Fine, he gets another chance. "Thanks. I don't bite by the way, just so long as you stay on my good side."

@@Scribblegroove,

Diamond frowned. "You're not looking in the right places. Though there not be as many fans of jazz as there are hip hop...there still are fans, and there always will be as long as there are musicians playing it. An old music editing teacher of mine played jazz. And though its not my preferred Genre, its still one I enjoy. And...I don't feel any music Genre's are lower then other's, it all comes down to personal taste. I don't like dubstep...but if a DJ enjoy's making it and ponies enjoy to listen to it, I say let them be who they are...music is like personality...some ponies are different then others but in the end we're all the same...just like no matter the genre, its still music." She said, smiling. "Sorry...I'm rambling." She said, blushing a bit and glancing over at the three DJ's chatting away.

I'm Rhythm Runner...guess I already said that. You're Flash, right? Its nice t'meet ya." She said, happily. It was obvious she quite enjoyed socializing and chatting.

"You are right with saying that it all dependa on taste, but i only feel like some genres are simply harder to compose and play, since they all have different rules, jazz being thr one with the most complex systems. I'm not saying that jazz is really better, it is just another level of music. But I guess thas is kinda my weird view on the subject." Scribblegroove explained. "And rambling simply shows you are passionate about what you are saying you know..." Scribblegroove was tired of talking about music preferences. It was an argument that could not be won by anyone.

"Do you have any idea who those ponies on the other sofa are? I know one of them is rythm, but I don't know the other two. Do you recognise them by chance?" Scribblegroove asked diamond. "They all seem to be dj's"

@, @@The-Master,

Flash smiled a bit and looked up. He glanced over at Amber a few times before he had to force himself to stop and focused himself on Rhythm. "It's nice to meet you... and you, Amber." he said playing with hooves a bit and never making eye contact with either mare though he'd glance up every few seconds. "So.... you're both DJs?" he continued though he got quieter as his confidence quickly wore off and he huddled against the corner of the couch in a sort of protective way.

"You betcha," Amber lightly hit Flash in the shoulder. "DJ's are always the ponies having the most fun out there. Doesn't get any better than doing the thing you love most and getting paid for it." In all her enthusiasm she forgot about her headache, suddenly clutching her forehead as it flared back to life. She resisted the urge to curse out loud.

"Damn. Looks like I'm not completely bulletproof." She let out a halfhearted chuckle. "Anyway, what do you do Flash? Dubstep, Rock, you know?" Amber quickly looked rather nervous. "You're not classical are you?"
