Frost turned the corner and saw Shamrock and the mare she had been talking to earlier. "Hey Shamrock!" He ran up to them. "I thought I had lost you for a minute there, the bathroom line was hectic and after that whiskey I had to go bad!" He said with an awkward laugh as he turned to the mare he hadn't met yet."Mine name is Frost, its nice to meet you!" He said extending a hoof.

I'm used to sleeping in odd places.' He said, pointing to the other stallion at the other side of the bench.

"My name is Missy Starlight, I'm not a big fan of alcohol, in fact, I'm not even old enough to be drinking it so, if that rules me out of your little festival group then that's fine." Missy said, hopefully she wouldn't have to go with them if at all possible.

Frost smiled and let out a slight chuckle "Don't worry about it it doesn't exclude you, I doubt I'll be drinking again anytime soon after that." He motioned to Shamrock's saddle bag. "Well anyway its nice to meet you Missy, I suppose you'll be hanging put with us for the day or do you have plans." He said with half smile

Quill then turned his attention to the stallion who was positioning himself on the bench to sleep.

"I know this is a bit odd, but would you like to come as well?"

"Well, the only plans that I do have and are confirmed is the meteor shower tomorrow night, I'll be on the balcony of some building just looking up at it, I've got my telescope in case I get bored, as you can see by my cutie mark, I'm a bit of a know-it-all for star-gazing." Missy explained, not sure why she was doing so, this pony could be dangerous.

'Uh, I don't have the bits to pay.' He said apologetically. 'But I'll come if it's not too much of a drain. I don't want you to spend you're bits on me because of my stupidity. That seems unfair.' He added, frowning. He really didn't want to take stuff from them when he could have had enough if he wasn't so stupid. Which is exactly what he was, in hindsight. If he hadn't forgot, he wouldn't have done all if this.

 

And he wouldn't be sleeping on a bench.

Frost smile widened when Missy mentioned the meteor shower. He clapped his hoofs. "Your going to see that too?! I was hoping that would be the highlight of my trip...although...I don't have a telescope;, I was just gonna watch it from my hotel room." He said, his smile widening lesser and lesser. "Who knows I may learn something about stars hehe."

Star finishes her side and sits down"im tied after that but,well ok maybe not in all of Equrtsria but to me you are" Star yawns and lays down on his couch and falls asleep ans she starts dreaming of her and Architectural being together and she smiles in her sleep.

'Well, it's Distance Traveller, but people just call me Traveller. I guess I'll come.' He said sheepishly. He didn't like the idea of spending others bits, but he assured himself it was ok just this once. 'Yeah, where are we going? I know that cafe from earlier. We could go there.' Traveller asked, pitching his idea.

Frost chuckled "Well if you want me to join you I can." He said, listening to the rest of the mares statement. "A nerd huh? Well your talking to I guy who makes his living on computers, and plays video games non stop, I think I'm the nerd here." He said with a reassuring smile.

Architectural Dream was done with his side when he noticed Star Struck on the couch sleeping. Adorable. Architectural Dream shook his head as he gently levitated Star Struck to his bedroom. After carefully placing her down and covering her, Architectural Dream walked out. He'll sleep in his guest room. But first, he had a letter to write to the Canterlot University.

Quill looked at Ambiance, who seemed to be a little anxious and said, "I think the castle would be a perfect place to go. They probably have it decorated for the festival." Quill could hardly contain his excitement.

'Sure! I don't think I've ever been there...' He said, now wondering if he had been to the castle or not. Seeing how his friends reacted to him zoning out, he smiled weakly and apologized. He got off his bench and hovered, doing a loop. 'Lets go!' He said, excited by the prospect of something to eat. He was hungry!

The trio began traveling through the streets, Quill decided strike a conversation and make some small talk. 

"So... um Traveller what brings you to Canterlot? I'm going to assume you're here for the festival? That seems to be why most other ponies are here." Quill felt kind of stupid answering his own question.

'Yeah, though I was really late. As I've said, Iost everything on the train so the festival is the only good thing that's happened so far. Well, and spending time with you two. You're both awesome.' He said, raising his hooves at 'awesome'. He out them down and kept hovering. 'I never did get your names. What are they?' He asked smiling awkwardly. He felt bad for not asking earlier.

"I see....I got bullied here and there, but everypony just let me be after a while." H said his his ears perked up when she said never mind, Frost was a curious pony and always wanted answers. "The ponies who what? Um....sorry, I shouldnt have asked." He said with a slight frown.

"No, it's alright, it's just some things I'd rather not share with other ponies, especially that I just met." Missy said. "So, what exactly is happening at this festival other than the meteor shower, I didn't read much further than that for obvious reasons." Missy let out a small laugh.
