"Ah yes, I'm a bit starved, waiter please," Architectural Dream called for a waiter that was nearby, "Two menus please." The waiter nodded before departing to get the menus.

"A hotel? Interesting, and I would love to, since you are offering ma'am." Hotels in Canterlot were rather expensive.

"well i saved up my bits from foalsitting for this,so yeah i was able to pay for it but its going to be sad going back to Manehtten and not seeing you or any other pony i meet here but thats life you cant help it" Star sighs. After a long walk around the city shamrock started to get a little tired starting to look for a place where she could have a seat and get some rest.  It didn't take her too long to fined a spot. But it already had a pony sitting there, who happens to be a pretty cute mare. She heads for the bench which lucky for her has room for two. "Howya, miss. Mind if I take a this seat next to ya and get my wind back?" She says in her thick Irish accent with a friendly smile.

"Pay for the good? No that won't do ma'am, I shall pay. It is a gentleman's duty to do such things, a stain on a white shirt if you will," Architectural Dream spoke, insisting on paying for the meal. Then he continued, "I travel a lot, which is kind of why I got many bank accounts. I might be able to see you, if you don't mind that is."

"o..ok then, and i dont mind if you come and see me,you can see me anytime you want to just let me know so you dont arrive while im foalsitting you might even meet little Sparkle Star"Star looks at the stallion"if you dont mind me saying,your handsome" Star says.

"Where do you exactly live?" Architectural Dream asked, drinking his coffee. Then he simply smiled as he placed his cup on the table, "No I do not mind. And handsome? Well I don't know about that. Don't mares like that macho weightlifter than a stallion that prefers running?"

Stars tells him were she lives"macho waitlifter, dont make me laugh,they really only care about there muscles and them selfs, a stallion like you will care for his mare and care for her like no other stallion could"Star then takes off her heart shaped necklace"its a locket but no pictures inside because there is no pony to put in here,

"Those are some words. I don't know I'd they all are true though," Architectural Dream replied. Call him modest or humble, but he rather downgrade himself than anything; only his masters degree, he'll shove that around to ponies. Architectural Dream looks at the necklace inquisitively, "Haven't found your special somepony yet? Isn't that a surprise, a mare like you would have found many already."

Snowdream jumped suddenly when the pony started talking to her. She had been so lost in thought, and memories of her old home that she was at a loss for words when she was suddenly being engaged in a conversation.

 

"Uh sure?" She said looking around, "uh... I was just going anywaynicemeetingyoubye." She mashed her words together at the end of her sentence.

 

She got up and trotted into the park that was near the bench with the mare.

 

I feel so rude, getting up and leaving like that,she was just trying to be friendly! I guess you've just become to used to the Manehatten way of life...she thought absently as she wondered through the park, staring at the ground, that was until she crashed head on into a purple unicorn (@@Snowy Storm) dropping her bag that she had been levitating next to her.

 

Snowdream looked up with shocked eyes, not really knowing what to say.

 

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry!" She said with wide eyes.

Shammy was a little sad the the mare just took off. She sighs and puts her bags down on the floor next to the bench. She then lied down on the bench.She pulls her hat over her eyes to block the sunlight. She shuts her eyes thinking she might as well take a nap.

Frost trotted down the road, he had been over at the post office sending some mail to his parents to let them know he was doing fine and such. He needed to take a breather, sitting down on a bench he pulled out his pack of cigarettes and lit one. He turned to the pony next to him and smiled, "I don't think this is the greatest place for a nap." He said with a chuckle

"Maybe, but it was the only place I could find. Plus this bench is making my back stiff so it's kinda hard to fall asleep anyway." She sits up and puts her back on her head. She looks to the stallion next to her and gives a friendly smile. "I wanted to talk to a mare who was sitting here but she bolted before I got a chance. But what you gonna do?" She holds a hoof out to the stallion. "Howya, I'm Shamrock."

Frost smiled and shook her hoof, "It's good to meet you Shamrock! I'm Frost Typhoon, but I prefer Frost." He said with a smile, letting out a small chuckle. "Say I'm new around here...moved in yesterday from Ponyville. Would you mind showin me around?" He asked with a wider smile

 Shamrock laughs a little. "Sorry, mate. If I could I would be happy to show you around. But I'm new here myself. Just got off a train from Detrot. I'm here on vacation and to check out the festival that they're having here. With me being a city lass I wanted to check out Canterlot. But from the look of the ponies here I Just look like a bogtrotter to them. Don't think I'll be making to many friends here."

Missy was so excited for the festival in Canterlot, she had brought her special telescope for the occasion, on the second night of the festival, there was a brilliant meteor storm which she wasn't going to miss while she was at the festival, hence the telescope.

She had just gotten on the train, and was on her way there.

Frost smiled "Well you got me as friend so far I suppose." He said as he put out his cigarette and put it in the ash tray next to the bench. "Why don't we go look around together? Better to have two then one." He let out as small giggle, covering his mouth so the whole laugh didn't spill out.

 Shamrock smiles and loughs a little."Well I guess I do. And why not? Not like I have anything important to do." She stands up and puts on her bags. She dose a few stretches and pops her back. She then reached into her bag and pulled out a flask. She takes a small drink and holds it out to Frost. "Care for a little hair of the dog?"

The train stopped at Canterlot, she strapped the small (but powerful) telescope to her back and left the train to get into Canterlot proper,, she had rarely been to such a spectacular city, i all felt so new to her. but she forgot to put on her glasses, so she levitated them out of her saddlebag that she had brought with her and put them on.

"I have a good feeling about this festival." She said, hoping nopony thought she was crazy for speaking to herself.

Frost chuckled "Nor do I have any plans of importance." He said as she extended her flask out to him. "Hair of the Dog? Not one for the names of drinks you know hehe, what is it like....vodka...or special beer?" He asked as he took the flask and smelled the contents

"Whiskey, mate. I got it from a friend of mine from the griffin kingdom. He makes it himself. Very strong stuff. But also very good. He carries around about five flasks full of the stuff. After I found him hurt I helped him and he gave me some of it as a thank you. He calls it hair of the dag for some reason. Maybe because he has canines or something." She shrugs. "I don't know."

"Whiskey huh? I've had some, but not in a while, and certainly not from the griffin kingdom." He said as he finished unscrewing the cap and took a quick swig. He shook his head "Well....that is definitely a lot stronger than I had first expected." He said coughing and laughing simultaneously.

Shamrock laughs as well. "Yeah, It hits ya the first time you try it. And every other time you drink it." She laughs again.  "But you get use to it and grow to like it." She takes it back and haves another swig. She screws the cap back on and puts it back in her bag. "So where should we head to first?"

Missy had a map in front of her, she had no idea where she was going. Eventually, she bumped into somepony.

"Oh, I'm sorry about that, I should watch where I'm going, again, so sorry." She put the map away, and looked at the pony who she bumped into, emerald green earth pony. "Again, I'm sorry" She said again as she turned to walk away.

Quill was returning home from Fillydelphia, instead of taking the main road, he decided to follow a small dirt path that lead through the Equestrian country side. As he walked, he could see the city of Canterlot off in the distance. He noticed that the skies seemed busier than usual, it seemed like Pegasi were constantly flying over him.

"Celestia must be planning something important." He thought to himself, and sighed. "I might as well see what all the hype is about, it's not like I have anypony important to go home to." With those words he began the trek to Canterlot.
