Seth was held a little speackless. He had  just came to pick two ponies up for a quick demolition mission, next thing he knows he runs into the ponies leaving on a quest to track one of their past. Still meteorically scratching his head, Seth boarded the Continental and prepped the engines for the trip to the carrier. He tossed on his helmet and keyed the comm chanal.

"This is lonewolf to Atlantic. Arkangle, respond."

 

"We read you lonewolf. Are you inbound for the carrier?"

 

"Affirmative. have the two aircraft landed yet?"

Drone shook his head and sighed as he said back,"What? What are Elements of Nature?"he asked,his eyes drifting to his friends,he truly didn't know what they were,and he wanted to know,so,he asked them,his face showed curiosity and slight confusion to the two.

Flash rolled his eyes while Firebrand looked up at him with confusion. Flash didn't like where this was going. He didn't like revealing the secrets of the elements of nature. He looked at Drone with an almost regretful expression. "I don't think you want to know all the secrets we have to share. You might look at us differently if you know."

Drone blinked and looked at him for a moment before looking back forward and sped up more,he was soon in view of the kingdom,he looked around and then saw it,a deserted lab,he blinked and looked at his friends,stopping and saying,"...I guess...this is the moment of truth..."he said,he looked at them and landed as they approached it,funny,they encountered no resistance...

Flash gently set Firebrand on the ground and then landed beside him. They looked at the seemingly abandoned lab. Flash tapped his visor to activate the thermal vision and scanned for enemies. "I don't see any hostiles in the immediate vicinity." he observed tensely. Firebrand looked at Drone and said "Your call my good sir."

Sentinel gulped softly and said,"...Let's go in...split up,we might find where I was held at faster..."he said,he slowly walked in,opening the door and immediately,he was hit by his churned up and uncovered memories,he growled as his head started pounding in a migraine,he fell on his belly and grabbed his head with his hooves as he remembered.

He was slowly being wheeled away on a cold,metal table,he saw two changelings carting him around,and then they reached a door,it was labeled,"EXAMINATION ROOM:13"

Drone gulped hard as he got back up,"F-find...exam room...13..."he said before setting off alone on the right path,he walked for some time before he ended up at a door that had a bio-hazard symbol on it,he gulped softly as he had another memory,just as painful as the last.

He remembered this door,he saw it a few times,but nothing he could remember happened to him in there...atleast...nothing he could remember of...

Firebrand and Flash looked at Drone in concern at first but looked relieved as he got up. They nodded as he told them tofind exam room 13. They set off down different hallways, looking for the mysterious room. Firebrand turned a corner and saw a sign at the end of the corridor with an arrow pointing to the "Examination Wing". He said into his mic, "Guys, I think I've found it. I'm sending you my position."

Drone blinked and looked at a door a moment before hearing the comm and he set off toward his friend,he looked at Flash a moment and said,"c-can I...do this alone?...just...just wait out here...please?"he asked,he felt like he needed to do this alone...He sighed softly and walked forward,seeing the familiar white walls,he started to have memories float back up,he bared his teeth as he remembered being told something by Queen Chrysalis herself,"You,my dear pegasus...you are going to be part of something...you will be my greatest creation yet..."she said to him,he growled and slowly walked further,he saw the number plates...11,12...13...

He stopped at the door and gulped softly as he put his hoof on the door and opened it,he gasped as he had memories flow in him,he dropped to his front legs as he remembered him being cut open,he almost felt the sickening slices down his body,he then saw his own organs,he put his hoof over his mouth to try to stop the bile that threatened to come out of his mouth,he swallowed and slowly stepped in...and saw dried blood on a metal table,he gasped as he remembered him lying there,he then saw jars with organs in them,a heart,lungs,intestines,and all sorts of things,he started to cry when he saw the name labeled on them,"Sentinel Drone"...

He couldn't hold it anymore,he ran over to the nearest corner and threw up,he tasted the yucky bile spew out of his mouth,his eyes watered as he wiped his mouth off,he also wiped the tears away with his clean hoof and slowly walked over to the table,he stared at it,he then looked over to the little table with tools on it,a scalpel,a bone saw,and other various pieces of surgeon equipment,he looked at the table once more and started crying,"How am I not dead?"he asked himself,he then looked to the scalpel and picked it up,it had dried blood on it from years ago,he looked at it closer and he noticed a shadow out of the corner of his eye,he looked up and there she was,the queen of the changelings,inches away from his face,he gasped and fell backwards,the scalpel sliding off to the side somewhere,the Queen laughed softly,as if trying not to alert him nor the others,"Why,hello...I take it your surprised to see me?" She asked.

Drone gulped and said,"Wh-what happened...why am I not dead?...why are my internals in jars?"he asked,his face still had tears on it.

The Queen sighed softly,"Oh,Drone...you sweet little boy...You should never have been here...not now anyway...You were one of my test subjects...we took all of your organs out,all of them besides your brain and...sexual organs...We did it because we wanted to see if immortality really existed beyond those Alicorns...And look!...There is...You and I..."she said,her voice soft,and...soothing...

Drone gulped softly,"W-what?...Y-Your crazy!...I-I can't be...No..."he looked down and shook his head,"Impossible...no way..."he said,he couldn't believe a claim so outlandish...but he remembered...He was laying in the exam table,and he was staring at his empty body,his eyes huge as he slowly lifted his hoof and flt the soft,smooth inside of his now empty body,he remembers feeling the emptiness of his hollow body,he snapped back to reality,out of his memories and cried.

The Queen blinked,slowly walking forward and putting her hoof on his shoulder.

Flash and Firebrand stood outside the door as Drone walked into the room. For a moment nothing happened. But then suddenly, Flash felt a jolt go through his body. Drone was in trouble. He flipped on his thermal vision again, but he saw nothing. Not even his friend. He looked over at Firebrand with a panicked expression. He nodded at the door and they both started foward slowly. Flash reached out and pushed open the door slowly. His eyes widened as he saw a black pony with green hair standing over a sobbing Drone.

Sentinel cried more,he looked to the side and saw the blood stained scalpel,he reached for it and grabbed it and stood up,his face showing more anger than anything,"YOUR WRONG! I CAN DIE!! I WANT TO DIE!!!"he yelled in her face,he then put the scalpel to his throat and sliced open his neck,blood started pouring out quickly and he started drowning in it,he held his neck and throat as he jerked around and finally fell to the floor,unmoving.

The queen sighed softly and shook her head,"He truly is one of a kind...You,Red one,and his friend,both of you,come here,and look at him..." she said,still looking at his "dead" body.

Drone saw his own body,and felt himself slowly opening his eyes,he felt his neck closing and he could breath again,he gasped and stood up,his eyes wide,"...I-Impossible..."he said,his eyes started tearing up again.

Queen Chrysalis sighed softly and shook her head,"I didn't make you immortal...I only provoked it..."she said,her voice...something out of the ordinary..it seemed...almost apologetic...

Firebrand and Flash walked foward slowly, staring at Drone in horror. Flash stared at Chrysallis and said "Explain! Now!" Looking at his friend on the floor, he felt something rising within him. Something dangerous. He would make her pay for what she was doing to Sentinel.

Drone shook his head,he couldn't be immortal,he couldn't!...no...no,this isn't happening...it's all a dream,thats it,yeah,a dream...a seriously fucked up dream that looks real...

The Queen sighed and looked into Flash's eyes,"Your friend,Drone,as you call him...way back when he was 15...we took him,this was before the conflict with the princesses and I...I wanted to become immortal so bad...I didn't care how many lives I messed up...But now,seeing that this is the only who survived...I feel ashamed as a queen..." she stated,looking down.

Flash felt like he was going to be sick. Firebrand stared at the Queen with cold calculating eyes. "You're lying." he said softly and calmly. "You've been waiting for him to come back. Your little success story. You want to replicate him. Tell the truth." His voice was quiet but it was ice cold.

The Queen started smiling slightly,she then laughed,"Awwww ya caught me! I was going to clone him...He was going to be my eternal guard..."she said,her smile cold and uncaring.

Drone coughed once and shot up,he had the scalpel and started stabbing her in the stomach and chest,he sliced her neck open multiple times as he yelled,"YOU FUCKING WHORE,I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER FOR ETERNITY,YOU WILL PAY YOU FUCK!! YOU WILL!!!"he kept stabbing her,he even sliced her open,he had blood splatter on his face,he stopped and sat on her lap,staring at her bleeding body,he stared at his scalpel and said,"That is my fucking love to you,Queen...isn't that what oyu wanted? Love..."he said as he got up,he stared at her and wiped off his face and watched her eyes open and her mouth turned into a wide smile.

The Queen giggled softly and opened her eyes,"Awwwwwwwwwww that's sweet of you deary...I will return the favor...ten fold..."she said before tackling him and pinning him,she smiled and kissed him deeply as she took out a pistol and shot him in the temple twice,she giggled,"I like this game." she said with a soft giggle.

Flash and Doc stood looking on in silent terror. For Flash, all emotion was drained away, leaving nothing but horror behind. Firebrand was slowly developing a blind rage but he was frozen to the spot. He couldn't move a muscle. They stared at the dark queen in hatred and shock as they tried to regain control of their faculties.

Sentinel's eyes shot open as he stabbed her in the stomach more,trying to separate their lips,but she stayed on top of him,he growled and kicked her off him finally,he wiped his mouth as she growled in pain and looked at her ripped open stomach,he looked at her before shooting forward and stabbing her,multiple times in the skull.

The Queen stopped as she had bits of brain and skull splattering out,he growled and looked at the scalpel and pinned her down and started stabbing and cutting at her,doing the most gruesome and devastating things he could do to her body.

Both Flash and Firebrand stepped back in horror as they watched the gorey battle. Blood and brains were splattering everywhere and Drone was on a bloody rampage. He was on a mission to kill. All of Firbrand's rage disappeared to be replaced by shock and fear and Flash's brain simply stopped functioning as he watched the bloody scene unfold before him. He was on overload and he simply sat on his haunches as he shut down, his eyes gazing sightlessly.

He yelled as he made so many huge slices all over her body,it was such a nasty sight,it almost made him sick,he got off og her body and looked at her private parts,he looked up at her slashed up body and he had a slow smile creep on his face,he looked at his scalpel one more time and plunged the surgical knife into her area around her parts,he said out loud,"Now let's see you love someone you fucker."he growled and sliced the female part out and threw it off to the side,only to see it grew back,his smile fading.

The Queen growled and stared down at him,she sat up and shot him in the chest a few times,she said,"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH YOUR QUEEN LIKE THAT,AND NOT EVEN KISS ME FIRST!!!"she said and watched him suffer as his wounds disappeared.

Firebrand was recovering from his shock and his rage was building again. Beside him Flash was jerked out of his stupor as he watched his friend get shot again and again. He as well started to feel his fury escalating. His eyes started to glow a faint gold, while Firebrand's glowed blood red. Shivers ran down their bodies as their elements began to take over. Normally Flash would avoid this at all costs, but right now he cared next to nothing. He could feel his control slipping, and the element inside of him begin to come out and take over.

Drone growled as he was pinned once more,he tried to resist,but he was overpowered,he stared up at her as her eyes lowered to half open,a wide smile spreading across her face,she leaned in and started to make out with him,he tried hard to fight back,but she weighed too much,and he started giving up as she kept making out with him,making her tongue go down his throat a little,he glared at her,but the way she had his arms,he couldn't stab her again,and she made him spread his legs.

That was the last straw. Flash realized he no longer wanted to keep his powers in check. He let them take over as he let the rage loose. Firebrand was much more willing to relinquish control from the start. He didn't have too much of a problem with it. He released with a wicked smile. They both felt the energy blast outward as they let go. Flash had never given in before. He had come close once but that was it. He was afraid of what would happen. He expected to feel burning rage, but was surprised as he felt only deadly calm and sinisterly patient. As if he could be perfectly happy waiting for an eternity for his enemies to die, looking foward to it calmly. He could feel the element's spirit come to the forefront of his mind. Firebrand felt slightly different. He too felt calm, but there was an ancient wisdom within him now that far exceeded his own. But this wisdom was cold and calculating. It was harsh. He felt the spirit of fire overtake him. His energy burst outward as his body was engulfed in flames while the pegasus next to him lit up from head to toe with electricity. Flash felt himself speak, but the words weren't his. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. Isn't this interesting." His voice had a strange echoey sound. It was chilly but morbidly curious as if he could stand there and watch forever. Firebrand spoke in a similar voice, though his was deeper. "Hmmm, Changeling Queen. This could be bad." His voice was more guarded and closed off as if he held a universe of secrets.

Drone looked over at them,he took this chance and smacked her right in the jaw,she was thrown off and he took his knife and stabbed her in the stomach a few times before scrambling away,

The Queen gasped as she felt the pain from his stab,but was even more concerned about the two ponies,she sat and gulped softly.

Drone started laughing as he said,"Hey,Flash,Firebrand..put her on that table...I think I might repay the queen a favor from a loooong time ago..."he said,smiling devilishly,he looked at the tools that were made for surgery and such,he chuckled softly.

Flash looked at Drone with a smirk and said "Interesting. He thinks we are them." Firebrand looked over at his companion and said slowly "Yes, it would seem so." Flash spoke up again and said "Personally I don't think this concerns us. I think we shouuld wait and watch." He examined a hoof nonchalantly as he spoke. Firebrand however shook his head and said "No, she could be a threat to the things we hold sacred. She goes against the laws of nature." He looked over at Drone and said "But we don't take orders from little colts." He spoke coldly as if he was offended at the stallion. But Flash brightened and said "No wait, I'm curious to see what he does. Let us indulge him." Firebrand scowled but said "Very well." Flash disappeared in a burst of light and appeared next to the queen, he grabbed her and threw her onto the table. Firebrand walked up and grabbed the corners of the table. As he did, the corners grew red hot and he bent them over to imprison each of the mare's hooves.

Drone smiled darkly as he picked up the scalpel,and sliced her body open,she screamed,and he smiled as he ripped her open wide,he looked at the clamps and took out her liver,he smiled and tossed it to the side,he smiled,"oh,that one was pretty fun,now I see why you did this to me,hmmmm...intestines? Yes,lets do that."he smiled and pulled them out,he cut them at the ends and tossed them out too,he looked at his bloody hooves,he chuckled,he started to seem...different...like something else was inside of him,he laughed loudly and rammed his arm down deep in her body,all the way to some bad spots.

All the while,the queen was yelling in pain,screaming in agony,and when he did that last action,she started crying,saying,"I'M SORRY!!! PLEASE,I'M SO SORRY SENTINEL,PLEASE,PLEASE STOP!!! PLEASE!!!" she screamed out,tears flowing out of her eyes.

Drone laughed and said,"You never stopped for ME!"he said and looked up at her chest,he saw her lungs filling up and going back down,he opened her rib cage and looked in it,"Oh,so you DO have a heart...well,let's fix that problem...oh,and the best part? Your brain is still alive 7 minutes after your heart is out of your body,so I have seven minutes to play with you,well,then I can start all over again."he said and ripped out her heart.

She screamed out in more intense agony,she didn't resist though,because she knew this was her punishment.

Drone chuckled softly as he felt it still beating,he shook his head and threw it against the wall,watching the vital muscle explode and blood splatter all over the wall,he said with a hint of insanity in his voice,"Hm,I must say,that is quite pretty,who knew that somepony so despicable could create something so pretty."he said before shrugging and continuing,he chuckled softly and ripped out her lungs,he then finished all of his organ extracting and he was covered in blood,he laughed loudly,looking at the empty body,he slowly stopped laughing and wiped his face,the blood smearing,his smile faded and he said,"What have I done?...Oh damn..I'm no better than she was..."he said and sat in an old chair,he shook his head a little before he looked at the two,he sighed and said,"well...that was..."he stopped himself and thought a moment before finishing,"Not fun at all..."he shrugged and spun around in his chair,he yawned and waited for her body to fix itself,he smiled and said,hopping up,"WELCOME BACK MY DEAR!"he said loudly.

The Queen blinked and looked at him a moment before saying,"w-why are you covered in blood...s-sir..."she said,looking confused.

Drone blinked and stopped,he stared at her a moment before shaking his head,"You...don't remember?"he asked.

Flash's eyes were bright with interest as he watched Drone work. "Hmmm, maybe we shouldnt have obliged him so much." Firebrand scowled and said "Yes, he has gone quite insane." They watched siliently as Drone dismembered the dark queen. Flash with vague curiosity and Firebrand with something bordering on disgust. When Drone finished and sat in the chair, and mentioned not having fun, Firebrand scowled harder and murmered "And they wonder why we don't get involved with these barbaric ponies." Flash smiled and said "Now now, its simply their nature my friend. They can't help it." "That's exactly what upsets me." Firebrand muttered. They both looked up with mild surprise as the queen spoke.
