Doc nodded lit up his horn. there was a rummaging sound in the other room, and a very large canteen of water came floating in. It floated over to Seth while Flash helped him up. Lancelot and Clay walked over to pick up Volt and haul him into the sitting room, where they laid him on the couch. "What happened to him? Did he finally piss you off?" Jay asked with a small smirk, but with honest curiosity in his eyes.

As Seth drank from the container, his stamina replenished with every gulp. He accepted the help over to a chair and took a seat. When he sat down, it wasn't the back pain that got to him next. He gave a slight growl in pain as he felt his chest shot out pain like lightning. Seth then remembered Volt's kick to the ribs. With one arm, he gripped his side trying to relieve the pain. He tried to not show his discomfort with much success. Seeing the ponies stair at him, Seth became a little uncomfortable. 

 

"Oh, he sort of pushed the line. Just keep an eye on him, he might come to in a few minutes. Oh, about your house..." Seth started. "By the way, am I interrupting anything?"

"My house! What happened to my house!" Jay roared. Summer crouched down and said "Uh-oh." Doc held u a hoof for silence and Jay shut his mouth, but glared in seething anger. Doc looked at Seth and said "Let me take a look at that." He walked over with his horn glowing. suddenly Seth's abdomen looked like a negative transparancy, with his rib cage standing out white against black skin and organs. it looked like Doc was shining a flashlight into his body and revealing his innards, and everywhere he moved his horn, the spotlight went with it, giving him a good view of the damage. "Ooooh!" said Twilight eagerly while Rainbow gave her a strange look. "Hmm, looks like he broke two of them and bruised a few others. I can fix it if you want."

Seth could feel the pain intensifying slowly.

 

"Well, if you know wolf anatomy, than take your best shot." he said, looking at his internal organs. Since he was already a bit unstable from the pain, the sight of his boldly fluids was putting him over the edge in regards to his stomach. He looked away and drank another sip of cold water to relax his nausea.

 

"What exactly did I run into here," Seth asked again, looking at the accusing faces.

Doc shook his head and said "Don't talk, just relax. Wait here, I'll be back." He walked out of the room while Clay and Lancelot came back form the sitting room. they sat down and looked at Seth curiously, while Firebrand seemed more guarded and Jay and Flash and Rainbow seemed more cold. Twilight seemed just as curious as Clay and Lancelot however, as she had a million questions to ask this wolf. but she held her tongue when she remembered Doc had instructed the wolf not to talk. Lancelot looked at Firebrand and said "Can you go and watch over the other guy?" Firebrand frowned slightly but nodded and walked into the sitting room. Then Doc walked in with a flask. He gave it to Seth and commanded him to drink.

With his secondary instincts returning, Seth's usual paranoia came as well. With the increasing eyes on him, Seth felt his defensiveness rise. His eyes darted from pony to pony. It might just be remanence of adrenalin in his blood, but he had a weary suspicion that he was no longer a guest. He was beginning to feel more like a prisoner. At the request to drink the flask, the wolf eyed the pony for several seconds. Finally, he took it with his free paw and took a whiff of it. There wasn't any noticeable toxins in it. Thinking it was safe enough, he took the smallest of sips. It tasted of... an unknown number of compounds, but non were too potent from his judgment. He downed the flask's contents and handed it back to the pony, keeping eye contact the entire time. His ears twitched, trying to detect any conversation or movement he was not aware of. If this did turn out to be an unwanted capturing, he wanted the upper edge. Or, all of this could be wolven paranoia, but the likelihood of it being as such was rather quite slim.

Doc smiled with approval as Seth drank the potion. "Now I'm going to have to x-ray you again. You don't have to look if you don't want to." he said calmly. his horn glowed as he did his x-ray spell again. He could sense the potion in the wolfs system. It spread fast. Now it just needed to be activated. His horn glowed with greater intensity as he cast the spell needed for the magic/potion combo. With a good view of the wolfs ribcage, he watched as the potion seeped around his bones and muscles. It flashed white as it stitched the cells back together. But it took several moments for Doc to raise his head, and stop the magic and say "Its done."

Drone sighed as softly as possible,he sat there,and rubbed his face softly,he then stretched and yawned softly as he waited for the wolf to leave,he had covered his scent by burning sage,and other smells,he rubbed his neck and started to fidget with his tail and mane.

Seth looked at him quisiclally.

 

"What's done? If you are referring to my r-"

 

Seth felt the area he was bucked, only to find that the area that should have been embedded was a stiff as a chest should be. It was still tender, but nothing compared to a broken rim. Realizing that he had just been healed by magic, the wolf facepawed. "Ya... magic. Wolves can create orbital kinetic velocity round platforms, but ponies can heal a broken body in seconds with... magic..." he muttered to himself. Seth hung his head low, until he picked up a sent in the air. 

 

Lifting his head up, he asked, "Anywolf else smell sage?"

(ooc now that i have my computer, hopefully i can do some colorcoding. indulge me while i have some fun. )

 

Twilight shook her head and said proudly "Nope, only Doc can heal as fast and as well as he does. He is the one who invented spell activated potions. its a special combo that utilizes potions that are either ingested or applied topically and then activated and guided and amplified by magic." She walked over and pecked Doc on the cheek as he blushed. Jay rolled his eyes and said "Yeah, Yeah Doc's amazing." He looked at Seth and said with a guarded expression "I dont smell anything." Clay and Lancelot exchanged anxious glances.

 

(ooc ehh it might be too much, i might just go back to normal.)

Seth gave a slight smile. The smell of sage brought him back to the days of the empire. Back to the empire before the war.

A younger Seth was walking out of a military barracks into a tundra forest. He had many bruises covering his body, and a light cut on his hind leg. After travailing for ten minutes. he reached his destination: a frozen pond. He built a small fire next to it and used exes logs to help melt the ice layer over the body of water. Once there was a sizable hole, he slowly walk in, letting the cold work it's magic on the blemishes covering his coat. He relaxed his muscles, rendering himself free of his exterior self.

 

"I thought you would be at the inferiority by now." A voice called from behind Seth. He turned to see his brother, Dawn.

 

"You know me better than to trust a med team what nature can provide." Seth called back, gesturing his brother to join him.

 

"Well, after taking on the instructor, I thought you deserved a break and join the team in a night of relaxation." Dawn called back. He was nearly identical to his brother, lacking only slight muscle difference and the injuries. Dawn joined his brother, slightly flinching from the cold.

 

"Well, after taking on a well taught opponent, and winning, I thought it wise to go for a traditional means of healing. Plus, this is how I relax.

 

"Fine, but I snagged some frosted sage on my way here. If you are going to relax, do it right, brother." Dawn instructed, tossing the branch into the fire.

As Seth came out of his flashback, he noticed a slight tear in his eye. He immediately flicked it off with his paw. "I guess your right." He said, not wanting to reveal any information he kept close.

Derpy blinked and thought to herself,'Maybe Drone is bored...I should go check on him..."She smiled slightly,"hey,uhh...I'm gonna use the little filly's room."she said before walking into Drone's room,it was dark and she could hear him shuffling around,then she whispered,"Drone?...you in here?"she asked quietly,though she knew the answer.

Drone smiled and whispered back,"Yeah,I'm here...turn on the light!"he said,he flicked on the light and they smiled at each other,Drone walked up to her and they both smiled more.

Derpy smiled,"I thought you were a little lonely...sooo...I came to accompany you!"she said softly,she then leaned forward more.

Drone blushed slightly and smiled,he hugged her and they rubbed their cheeks together.

"what is this place? were is Seth? what happened?.. i was in the forest and then.....oh Celestia... "

Doc watched with narrowed eyes as Derpy moved into the other room. Then he moved his attention back to Seth, who seemed to be lost in his thoughts. "So is there anything else we can help you with?" he asked patiently.

 

Firebrand looked at Volt with curious eyes and said "Your in a safe place. You need to settle down and rest."

Seth stretched his muscles, still regaining his upper torso. He shock his head to clear the ambient thoughts. "Well, the reason I'm here was to find a pony. A friend of mine told me he might be near here. I was carrying volt when I collapsed on your door step. The pony's name is Drone." Seth said in a casual tone, stretching his relatively new wings. Realizing that a wolf with wings was not in the norm, he quickly tucked them back.

"Drone...... drone..... drone.... must... terminate.... no....stop.... control... yourself...."

 

Volt said whispering to himself while biting his right hoof with all of his force.. it started bleeding

 

"ngh... control.. focus.... you are in command... get.. away..."

 

Volt collapsed on the ground again whit heavy breath, after a minute he got up again

 

"i.. i am very sorry... may i ask what is this safe place? looks a bit like my electric dam lab"

All the ponies in the room kept their faces masked with straight expressions. Doc turned slowly and walked over to the table where his friends stood. "Hmmm, that might sound familiar. What do you want with him? Maybe we can help?" He spoke just as casually as Seth did, not paying any special attention to the wings.

 

Firebrand looked carefully but sympathetically at Volt. "We're in my friends riverside lab. He is a scientist. I promise your safe." Then he leaned in and whispered in the other pony's ear. "If it makes you feel better, i have someone else inside me too. i know what your going through. at least a little bit."

Seth stood from the chair and looked at his surroundings. Everything seamed normal, being a lab of coarse. The only issue that bugged him was that he was still the focal point of attention. He glanced from face to face, seeing if there was anything beyond their casual expression. With each face, it was clear that they were doing the same to him. 

 

"Well, that depends. I was trying to sort out a bit of a mystery. He had a lead on what the whole thing was about. That's when Volt wound up with me. Luckily, I was able to find him headed around this area. By now he's long gone I assume. Now if you don't mine me asking, I never got  your names."

Volt looked at the pony with a surprised face

 

"do.. do you know?" he whispered

 

"any..anyway.. thank you... a scientist? oh awesome.. i am... i was... an engineer.... i... i don't know... i have a small lab inside my home.. the dam... i was an high voltage researcher... ehi one moment.. where is my Tesla saddle? Seth?.. ah.. hell now i remmeber.... well.. i .. ithink we need to find that pony and end this story as soon as possible..."

The stallions looked at each other smiling. Lancelot stepped forward and said "My name is Lancelot Blueblood and these are my friends Doc, Clay, Jay, Firebrand who is with your friend in the other room. And over there is Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle. And you know Flash already." Each pony nodded as their name was mentioned. Summer piped up and said "And my name is Summer Breeze."

 

Firebrand smiled at Volt and said "Yeah I can see it pretty easy. It can be hard to control it. By the way, I'm anengineer too. But a different kind"

Seth smiled at the bunch. They weren't hiding anything, or at least that he was aware of. Noticing Rainbow Dash and Twilight, Seth gave a small smile towards them. 

 

"It's been too long, Twilight." Seth greeted, remembering his first days in Equestria. He then turned to Dash. "And same goes for you Dash. If you ever want a rematch, I am always open. Just no cheep shots this time." He had a history with the two, but that is all that it was: history.

 

"My apologizes, let me introduce myself. Seth Eclipse. Wolven warier, royal diplomat, and" He sighed, giving a slight face of embarrassment. "...winged wolf god thing... I don't know." He finished, extending his wings slightly.

Twilight nodded quietly while Rainbow smirked and said "Anytime anywhere dog breath." Flash's eyes widened and he tried to stifle a snicker. Jay however was not as graceful. He snorted and guffawed while his sister Summer facehoofed. "Well, its a pleasure to meet you Seth." said Lancelot kindly while Clay tipped his hat.

 

Firebrand smiled and said "You could say I'm a grease monkey. I build crazy things and fix stuff. If you're feeling better we can move intk the other room and meet everyone."

The wolf gave a small chuckle to Rainbows reaction. "Know that I will count on it." He turned his attention to the rest of the crowd. "Well, as I said, I really need to track down that Drown fella. I just hope he's safe. He helped me out with a little issue earlier, I would hate it if I was not able to repay the debt."
