I have no idea really on how to create such works of art or music with 0 experience. I have been inspired by all the music, art and animation that this fandom creates that I would like to try it for myself. I have a large iMac and a samsung Notebook series 3 (http://www.samsung.com/nz/consumer/pc-peripherals/notebook-pc/essential/NP300E5E-A01AU) .(I am terrible at hand drawn art)   :okiedokielokie: , so why not go digital? I would prefer things that are free to download and are user friendly.

How do you go about creating a 3d animation, remixes, and digital art?

Umm, to start making music, I recommend you buy a cheap keyboard and start learning how to play the piano, BEFORE you start trying to remix stuff, because even good remixed music has musical structure and congruency.  These electronic genres still follow structures similar to rock and jazz music.  Learn about song structure and pacing.  Do not ignore this step, lots of people do, and it takes them a lot longer to get good.  I recommenced the piano because it's easy to start learning, and all you have to do is press down on keys, it's almost like learning percussion.  You can also hook this keyboard up through midi or whatever and use it with software like Virtual DJ or Protools.

This is only one step, and can take a stupid amount of time to learn, so if you're not really passionate about making music, I say hire somepony to do so.  Some ponies may even lend you music just for the practice of it.  But try it anyways, you might find your future career.

Well, as far as music creation/remixs goes you wont find shit all for free except maybe audacity but thats not really much help...

As far as digital art goes you could use Gimp or the free trials for paint tool sai or photoshop, the good thing about the photoshop trial is that you just renew it every 30 days.

As far as music goes since you are on an iMac I would suggest Logic Pro 10 or pro tools 11 but unfortunaley they're not cheap Suppose you could always torrent them For your Notebook for music The 2 programs I would suggest would be Fl studio or Ableton though both are pretty pricy and the price for plugins will keep you wallet pretty empty unless you dont care about priacy ;)

You want to make music. Here's your first two steps: Buy a keyboard, preferably all keys (88 keys). You can get them for a couple hundred bucks and they don't require as much care as a real piano.

Next, go to your local community college and enroll in some beginning piano classes (this is assuming you're an adult. If you're a child/teen, ask your parents to hire a piano tutor to teach you in your home). You really have to have a basic knowledge of how music works to make it, and the piano is generally seen as the best beginner's instrument.
