problem with rainbow dash: How did she come to Ponyville?

In Pinkie Pride, there were 19 candles on the cake.  I go with "That was artistic license.  There are no unseen candles"  Hasbro says the 1st 3 seasons covered 1 year (mathematically possible, even assuming Winter = 90 days).  If you assume 19 candles for age, 2 candles for 2nd anniversary then she turned 19 in S4.  She turned 18 shortly before Wonderbolt's Academy (during the 1year the 1st 3 seasons covered)  & was 17 when she moved to Ponyville.

 

During Testing, Testing.... Dash was revealed to have ADD.  My theory is she dropped out of school & got a job pushing clouds (for a Pegasus, the equivalent of flipping burgers. That is low skill, low pay because pretty much any Pegasus can do it).  Not being stupid, she learned enough to be put in charge of the Ponyville branch of the Weather Service (equivalent of assistant manager at a burger joint)

 

So, I go with "She moved to Ponyville because she got a job here"  Moving her Cloud Home is probably the equivalent of moving a house trailer.

 

As for "Celestia pulled strings to get her that job"  IMO, yes but that's another thread

Her girlfriend lives there

She has an effortless job

Lots of open space to practice flying

It's the only place big enough for her ego

 

Plenty of reasons she moved to Ponyville

She moved to another town one day for whatever reason (wether to be with her friend Fluttershy, job oppertunity or just wanting to see another place, etc etc) as a lot of people do, it's not something that really needs a giant explanation.
