Rain couldn't sleep. She sat up and eyed the sleeping bag, nervous about waking whoever was in it up.

Shadow coughed a few times before he was able to mutter out "Fine" some tone of anger in his voice. He was too weak now to fight her.

Shadow gave a fake grin before it was cut off with more coughing "This can't be happening again!" he thought, looking at the blood in his hands.

Shadow shrugged trying to keep his good mood even though 1337 killed Rain, and now he could die. "Well, that is a possibility. I guess i have you to thank for that"

She exhaled. *You don't understand. Your fate is something that's written at birth. I know how, when, and where people will die, Shadow.*

She looked at him carefully. *The fact that Rain has a choice about her future means that she can technically alter the course of the rest of the world. Nothing is set for her-if she makes the wrong choice in anything she does she is re-writing millions of lives. Do you get what I mean? By killing Rain, I've set off you, but there is no longer any way she can contact the world of the living. Anything she comes in contact with is a gamechanger. That's Rain's 'superpower'. She's remaking the future before we even get there, whether for better or for worse.*

She leaned against the streetlamp. *There's millions of options for Rain to choose from and the ones that she was heading straight for were the ones that would end the world. Getting it?*
