Shadow shrugged as he walked in. "Wonder how ten is doing" he thought.

Ten moved to the roof and laid on his back, staring at the sky.

 

Alten stepped into view, drinking a dr. Pepper. "need something, shadow?"

"Decided to stop by and see my old friend" he said.

"whatever, he's in his room if you want to talk." Alten waved dismissively.

Shadow began to walk up to Ten's room. He got a message through thought. It was Dakota telling him what had happened. After he was done he walked to Ten's door and knocked.

The door opened as it wasn't completely closed. There was an open window opposite shadow. Ten hummed softly to himself on the roof.

Shadow walked into the room and teleported onto the roof. He saw Ten "Hey" he said as he created a chair with black magic and sat down.

Ten remained silent and gave shadow a sideways glance before staring foward again. "how do you do it?" he asked after a long pause.

Shadow had an almost confused look "Do what?' he asked.

"stay in control. Stay... You. Alten said my powers would change me, but I don't like what they're turning me into. I don't know what to do!" he shouted the last sentence and pounded his fist into the roof.

Shadow paused for a moment. "I don't, though........The only thing I've been doing since i got here was destroy things.....I cant even act myself around Rain. " he said with a sad tone.

"I don't want my power to change me. I don't want to become... A monster." he looked at the ground dejectedly.

"Well that's not exactly my best topic....." he said "You are just going to have to try to remember what you are, and not what you may become."

"maybe I just need to stop using my powers..." ten trailed off in thought

"It may make you use them sometime." he said "And if you are not ready you have a much larger chance to fail"

"I guess I have some more things to think about" ten said as he stood up. He parkoured his way off the roof and down to the cliff, where he stood on the edge in deep thought.

Shadow decided to stay on the roof for a little longer. He looked up at the stars.

Sebastain watched Shadow, trying to gague what was happening, then shrugged. Rain stirred again and this time she opened her eyes and stared at him glassily.

^Hey,^ he said quietly, but her eyes glazed again and he swore under his breath.

Shadow began to cough up blood in the spirit world and in the real world. His clone disappeared and he awoke. "Dammit" he said "That happens far to much"

Sebastian shrugged helplessly. ^I don't know what you're talking about.^

"The coughing" he said as he created a chair out of magic and sat down.

^Yeah, what's up with that?^ said Sebastian curiously.

"Something that started a long time ago, There was only one thing that made it stop, That would be Rain." he said. He had been dwelling on it for a while, that maybe this time not even Rain can stop it.

^Why though? That doesn't make any sense, especially if you've killed her before,^ said Sebastian, his voice taking a stony edge.

"Does not really make sense to me either.....It just stopped after i gave in to it. And only recently has it come back" He said as he leaned back in the chair.
