"No one know's of your troubles, and no one can hear your cries for help now." he said picking him up by the leg with one hand and hurled him at a wall with incredible strength. Shadow smashed into the wall and fell to the ground. He couldn't even get up.

Plague laughed a bit.

"My friend, I am poison!" he said as he sent part of his symbiote to try and heal rain.

<#What if it's supernatural poison?>

<Uh...>

Plague looked at the Egotist.

"Uh... who's this guy?"

[Mephala 2,633]

^This is nothing your daddy can do,^ said Sebastian suspiciously, before turning back to Plague. ^Only way to heal her is to kill a few people, a soul exchange...you may be poison but this is something beyond your abilities. It was designed to do a mass sweep of a town once...^ He looked pained and stopped. ^In short, the only way to get her back is to kill...^

Sam gasped and hugged her father closer.

 

"No! You can't do that, it's terrible!"

[Mephala 2,633]

^Exactly,^ said Sebastian tightly. Her breaths were getting shallower. ^We don't have much time, she has minutes left if she's lucky.^

"... How about luring those other homicidal idiots into a trap then?"

[Mephala 2,633]

Sebastian shook his head. ^Wouldn't work, these have to be innocents, people not involved in this sort of thing.^ He swallowed and stared at Rain.

"Oh... Geez... I have no idea then... Isn't there any other way? Maybe with our combined magic or something?"

[Chickey 383]

"Please......stop...." Shadow was able to cough out.

"So you give up?" he asked with a twisted smile

"Y-yes......as long as you h-help her"

"That can be arranged...."

 

Shadow appeared sitting atop a street sign, not too far from the group. His whole appearance and soul seemed darker, and he glowed with a black aura. He had a rather sinister smile on. "It would appear you may need some help? he said spawning his scythe "i think i have just the thing"

Plague hissed as he felt Shadow's malignant presence.

"You... So you've finally given into your darkness..."

Sebastian hung his head. ^No other way. I...I can't kill anyone else, but dammit, I can't watch her die!^

He noticed Shadow and sneered. ^You gave in. She's already going to die, there's nothing you can do...^ He then noticed the scythe. ^However you got a reaper scythe I will never know....^

Shadow shrugged. "Her death means nothing to me, but to the actual Shadow it does." he said

[Victoria and Co. 782]

Sam looked at the corrupted Shadow.

 

"Mister Shadow hello! I'm glad to see that you are alright!" Sam looked at the group. "You know, you guys are the first real friends I've had here. Oh, I have an idea! If I were still alive, it would be my eighth birthday next week, how would you guys like to celebrate with Daddy and me?"

 

Sam got a dreamy look on her face.

 

"We could play games, have cake, oh! And there could be presents! I've never gotten any presents before!" With the last statement, she looked towards Shadow, a cunning, yet sweet, smile across her face.

"You look at me as if i was actually Shadow!" he said to sam with a laugh.

[Victoria and Co. 782]

"Oh that's too bad, I'm already expecting a present from you!" Sam retorted, sticking out her tongue.

[Mephala 2,633]

(MAKE HER START CALLING PEOPLE MISTER BUBBLES. THE CUTENESS WOULD GO UP 9000 TIMES.)

 

Sebastian ignored the scythe and reached into his back pocket. He pulled out what appeared to be a marble, but when he pressed a tiny button on it it expanded into a scythe of its own.

"You're expecting a present from Shadow, too bad he's pretty much dead." he said

[Victoria and Co. 782]

Sam giggled from Egotist's arms.

 

"Oh silly, he's not really dead! But if you really want to be different from Mister Shadow, I'll have to come up with a new name for you."

 

Sam thought for a moment.

 

"Hmm... How about Mister Bubbles!"

 

(Wish granted! )

[Mephala 2,633]

Sebastian smiled at her slightly. ^I promise I'll get you two presents since Mister Bubbles here isn't being very nice.^

He help out the scythe and it felt good back in his hands, almost like it was humming. Closing his eyes he began to mutter, and clouds of dark began to swirl around him. (Think of the Darkness from...The Darkness XD)

There were images in his head of the many he'd killed, all looking at him mournfully, but he tried to ignore them and instead attempted to channel their spirits.

You think that would work? The dead are dead...we want new souls...

There was a sucking noise and suddenly Sebastian was sitting next to Rain, who was getting weaker by the moment.

^I didn't work!^ he hissed, and his eyes suddenly glowed. ^We need to get new people!^

Shadow burst out laughing "Mister bubbles?! Oh that slaps me on the knee!" he then 're-serioused' himself. "Silly girl, the only one who can stop me would be her" he said pointing to Rain

Sebastian seemed like he was possessed as he prepared to travel back to the human world.

^I need to save her!^ he yelled, but his voice seemed almost creepier.

Plague's claws glowed with the Void's energy of corruption.

"Better for you to back off, 'friend'. If you want to help, then make yourself useful and get out..."

He shook his head. ^No! The scythe doesn't work! If I can't get more souls to save Rain, then I-then the whole city is lost!^

"Well that's too bad..." Shadow said faking a sad tone.
