Rain was waking up, spouting gibberish that no one could understand in a quick, high voice as her eyes darted around.

"Mmmmkay, Dakota, Stitches, look after Rain for a moment" Shadow said as he walked into a deserted room, no guards no anyone. He said in a chair with a long sigh.

 

Stitches looked at Rain and started to snap his fingers in front of her face "Hey, you okay girl?" he asked

Rain pointed at Shadow and chattered something wildly, hand shaking. Hearing the snapping fingers she started and just kept muttering, quieter now.

Six looked at Rain. He felt sorry for her, but her condition also angered him slightly. "Ahll let ya take care of that Shadow" he said. He would have stayed, but he really needed to blow off steam and get back to normal. He left, and with his highly enhanced physicality, leaped up to one of the tall buildings and began sprinting across the rooftops at blazing speed

the voice in sixes head asked

 

hey, are you controling the terndrils? because im not

 

the 4 tendrils were about 5ft long at this point, they had ripped through the back of sixes shirt, the were whipping and moving at random, as if they had a mind of their own

Stitches tried to get her attention "Are you okay?" he said louder.

Six looked at the tendrils, "Well f*ck" he muttered. He began to concentrate, bringing the tendrils back into his body. "that was weird" he said

Rain pointed at him too, saying something about healing. The rest was unintelligible as she then curled into a fetal position.

1337 appeared next to him. *You're lucky Dickota got her out when he did, otherwise she'd be beyond cureable. Though I don't know why you haven't just killed her off yet, prior conversations you've had don't make it out that you like each other very much. Just wipe your hands clean of her.* She then vanished again.

Stitches had to try something, his hand glowed green and he placed it on her head, hoping for the best.

 

"You know, in my right mind. People don't just 'wipe their hands clean' of others." he said assuming 1337 was still there "It's sad, you know......to know someone else was taken away from their normal life and changed, into some twisted person. It's sad to know i probably can't help you....."

Rain stopped talking and breathing, stiffening with a gasp as her eyes opened wide and she screamed in obvious pain, a burn appearing where his hand was.

Stitches pulled his hand back "What the hell....." he said.

Even though Six's transformation wouldn't subside, he felt completely normal, no murderous tendencies, no bloodthristy drives for rampage, he felt just fine. He slowed his run to a jog, easily bounding from roof to roof. <Hmm... Wonder where that one chick disappeared to>

"You see my friend, a gray morality is a path of little resistence. I do not align myself with either good nor evil because I do not wish to limit my actions to one classification."

 

The Egotist approached Rain but continued speaking.

 

"One, such as myself, has little to gain from being fully evil or fully good. Based off of that, I attempt to live my life as what I am, that being a human superior to most."

 

He looked at the burn mark. Thought for a moment, and then produced a vile from his bracer.

 

He let a single drop fall from the edge and watched intently as it hit the burn.

1337 appeared again.

*Looks like someone doesn't know the cuuuuuure...sucks,* she sang.

Six had now grew bored of traveling the rooftops. He sat on the edge of the building, his half demon formed self admiring the view from so high.

the rocketeer appeared at an abandoned nuclear power plant , it was in complete ruin, after all a terrible acident happened here 16 years ago

 

the rocketeer walked over to a metal folding chair that was oddly still intact, he sat down and put his head in his hands

*Well the fact that you just called me Rachel REALLY pisses me off, so she's as good as dead,* snarled 1337, and she left behind a larger crater than usual.

Shadow shrugged carelessly and waited.
