Hi, Everypony

I go by Lando or Trir.

I see myself as a pretty nice guy. Others that know me may have a bit more to say about me (all positive I assure you...ummm, i hope), but I just tend to see myself as a jack of all trades. Plenty of different interests, but as to how good i am at any of them is a different story entirely. Drawing, sewing, crafting, photography, videography, and editing have all been hobbies I have either dabbled in or still enjoy. Along side that, video games, movies, reading, amusement park (love roller coasters), museums, hiking and whatever else I give a try are all things I enjoy doing. I'm also a huge Disney fan. The movies, the parks, Walt Disney himself...not so much the channel. Now, seeing that this is a MLP forum, should already be a given of my liking for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. There was more to it, than just the show, there was all of you.

 

As mentioned, still pretty new to all this, just having marathoned and finished watching last three seasons and catching up on the fourth. So here I was enjoying a show I was afraid to admit enjoying. Was I a brony? Also as mention, I soon ended up catching a documentory on Bronies and the conventions. Now I've been to quite a few conventions, for different fandoms. From Anime to Medieval Faires, Fantasy to Sci Fi, even a few Furry conventions. What I saw in that documentary, and later in youtube searches, of the Cons, of the community, of all of you. I didn't know weather to believe what I was seeing or not, still don't really know. Here was a group of people that weren't just fans, but people that seem to try and uphold the lessons and values learned. To be excepting and tolerant of each other, to be and make friends. Something I think I felt was missing from a lot of my past experiances with other fandoms.

 

With that, I'll soon be experiencing my first Bronycon. I'm curious to how it'll all turn out, but I'm excited all the same. Looking forward to an amazing time, meeting new people, and making new friends and memories.

glad to hear you're so (positively) surprised by the fandom! it's really one of the nicest around, and you'll meet tons and tons of just plain nice people on here.
