EAS Experiences

I was wondering if anyone here has had some strange/creepy experience with the Emergency Alert System. Like listening to radio and scaring the crap out of you, etc.

 

My experience happened about a month ago. I usually listen to radio on my dock every night to help me fall asleep. So one night, just laying in bed, its around 12:00, I am half asleep, and the EAS test comes out of nowhere. I pretty much couldn't sleep till probably 3AM

This wasn't a real EAS thing, so I'm not sure if it counts here, but ...

 

... I believe there was a sort of EAS style loading screen in the MW2 campaign, right? Anyways, while I was playing, said screen came up, and my mom so happened to be nearby, watching. Shortly after, the game loaded up and she suddenly started laughing and asking me "Oh was that just the game?", confused and quite obviously relieved to find out that it was in fact, just the game.

I always have my radio on. One night I was getting dressed and when the EAS message came on. It scared me so much that I fell over and hit my dresser.

When i was little, when that came on, i always cried. But when i grew up, and this comes on, i just cover my ears, or go to a different room.

While I was watching a movie, the EAS came on out of nowhere and made me jump into the air off guard.
