Humans must've existed in equestria!

A long long time ago...

The human race had curiosity of aliens...Area 51 and Roswell knew the truth...

The Pone War was on the verge of happening...the flying saucers? Pegasi spying and bringing reports back to Equestria...

The Loch Ness Monster?...Steven Magnet after an early BP Oil Spill...not the company BP...but a Scottish boy named

Burke Pattingshire. He spilled an oil drum in part of the Loch Ness waters where Steven Magnet used to live as a young sea serpent. This caused his scales to change colour, and ruin his natural mustache...which scarred him for life, and caused Mr. Magnet to switch sides and join the equestrian spy community, and later to obsess over his appearance's amount of "Fabulosity."

Every single extra-terrestrial or abnormal being were actually equestrian spies plotting their takeover...

One day there was a huge war, many lives were claimed but the last ones standing were the Equestiran Empire...

E-Squared for short...But after looking around at the remains of humanity, The ponies felt ashamed of their actions afterwards...and began to try and clean their slates by promoting friendship and kindness...they never wanted to remind themselves of what they did...which is

why Equestria is now the kingdom it is...

...

...

...

...

...or it could just be a show about colourful talking ponies.

I don't know about that; but how would you like to see humans visiting the Ponies in Equestria like in previous MLP generations?

By the way; this topic reminds me of Pixar's world of Cars.

The problem with that theory is from "suited for success." Fluttershy clearly asks for FRENCH haute couture. French= from France. So if there is a France in Equestria, there being a Spain is not out of the realm of possibilitiy.

Also Applebloom speaking "fancy" is proof.

Because ponies were first bred by the Spanish to work in their mines and on board their ships!( I studied Spanish history in University)

Real world vs Equestria, just because we bred ponies in our world does not mean the same thing had to happen for the ponies to exist. Stop and think what is even being insinuated here, if humans did exist and helped the ponies evolve to the point they are now then where are the humans? Is it being insinuated that the ponies killed off the humans and took over?

Actually it does, because ponies could not survive in the wild. Even ponies that live in places such as the New forest and Exmoor need human intervention to survive. Also because they've been crossbred, they have a lot of genetic problems.

Again real world verses fiction. This is a magical land full of Unicorns, Alicorns, Pegasus, and other fictional creatures. If creatures made out of rock and wood could have evolved without human presence than why couldn't the ponies.

Then why call them ponies in the first place?

Um, hate to bring reality into this, but species can evolve without being specifically, "bred."  Look in the mirror for an example.

Also, ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pony ) from Wikipedia: "The ancestors of most modern ponies developed small stature due to living on the margins of livable horse habitat. These smaller animals were domesticated and bred for various purposes all over the northern hemisphere."

So according to that horses evolved into smaller statures on their own to meet the demands of living in a certain environment.  Only later did humans domesticate them, breed them and use them.

Animals living in a magic world?  Who knows what kind of environmental pressures they might have evolved under and you can't just say, "Ponies could not survive in the wild," because that simply isn't borne out by the available data.  There are wild pony herds living in many places on earth right this second.

Don't believe everything on Wikipedia. The modern horse is only that large because we've bred them to be that way. For example, medieval war horses were little bigger than ponies. In fact horses are extinct in the wild. The only reason they ran free in the US was because the conquistadors allowed their horses to escape. So for a horse/pony they have no natural habitat now, Edited by My Fluffy Unicorn

Przewalski's Horse are still in the wild.  They apparently were reintroduced to the wild but are completely undomesticated.  And I wouldn't say that horses were extinct in the wild because there are domesticated horses that escaped into the wild and are thriving quite nicely in the US, Canada and Australia.  They thrive so well that they have to be culled.

I mean yes, there are small populations of domesticated horses living free, but if you want to get all technical then they are extinct in the wild. DNA studies have found that the modern horse came from a very small population. In fact before the Ice age there were dozens of equine species, although most were unlike horses today, without hooves!( they had three toes instead.)

(By the way my thesis was on how Spain managed to conquer the Americas so easily because the natives had no horses.)

If by "all technical" you mean accurate, then again you can't say that "horses are extinct in the wild."  There are horses in the wild, so no.  You can say that perhaps the ancient wild ancestor to the modern horse is extinct, but not all horses in general.

And, again, Przewalski's horses are truly wild and by DNA are considered to be possible ancestors to the modern horse, but that's neither here nor there.  My main point is that "ponies," can exist in the wild and "small horses" can evolve on their own, so your original assumption that humans must have existed in Equestria to "make" ponies by breeding larger horses into smaller shapes is not a valid argument.

You're saying it is cause and effect:  "Because ponies exist, humans did because the only way ponies exist is for humans to make them."  In fact, as you know, nature "makes" animals by exerting environmental pressures and the animals who survive are those which adapt, regardless of what they choose to eventually call themselves.

I do agree, however, that ponies which call themselves ponies, seem to have horse relatives, as evidenced by the song, "Hearts as Strong as Horses."

Sir I have to admit you know your horses. I'm just a poor history graduate so I bow to your greater knowledge!

Arguing.

God I love arguing.

Dear Princess Celestia, I'm so alone

You do, honestly?  Gosh I wish I could introduce you to my father in law.  He lives to argue, much to all of our chagrin.  Maybe you should be a lawyer, that could end up being a dream job.  I mean, if you have to work, it may as well be at something you love doing!

This is what we call "being completely incapable of separating reality from fiction". I would suggest you develop said capability as quickly as possible because it could have severe consequences to your mental health otherwise.

Honestly, out of all possible theories one could invent, you go with "IN THE REAL WORLD, PONIES WERE BRED BY HUMANS SO OBVIOUSLY THE SAME IS TRUE IN FICTION!"

Ehhh. Boring.

Rather be a writer to be honest

I would be no good as a lawyer

But writing about argueing? Buck yes, that would be my dream come true.
