Sapphire shook her head "Its not that your soft, it shows your caring" She said with a smile as she looked back up to times. She laughed and said "Also, it made me one heck of a lot more happy" She grinned as she looked around

 

Embers walked around some of the allys, waiting

"If your happier then my plan was a success!" Times said laughing. "But can you still keep this between us... ok." Times said smiling. He wished he could hug her but with his injured arm and wing he couldn't. "Sapphire, in the time that I have worked as a squad leader. Nopony has ever cared for me until you joined my squad..."

Sapphire nodded "Sure, it can just be me and you that know" She said as she took a step back, feeling a little sleepy. She turned to look at times "Really? You seem like a really nice pony, im glad im in your squad, you are a really good pony" She said with a laugh

"Thanks... Most ponies in my squad usually that I yell to much, and the others say I'm over protective." Times said noticing she sounded tired. "Are you getting tired, you should get some rest... Doctor's orders." Times said chuckling. He looked at her and smiled.

Sapphire nodded "Thanks times, I should give you more hugs" She said with a laugh as she turned around, waving good bye to him as she walked back over to her tent. She sat down with a book open, happy to have found out who had givin her this flower that she now had

Times waved back and laid back down. He looked at his almost bare wing and thought to himself. Its going to take a few days just for new feathers to come in... He thought to himself as he ripped part of his cape off and wrapped it around his wing to cover the revealed flesh.

Sapphire looked up at the moon, then shook her head. it was already late, she blew out her candle then layed down, head resting on her make-shift pillow. She had a good dream, one where times was fine

 

Embers walked around the allys for a little longer, he had no idea where he was going anymire

Times lay'd his head down on his saddlebag and yawned. He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep. He had good dreams... That he wished that he would remember when he wakes up.

 

Ponyville, 8:00 hours

 

Times slowly opened his eyes and looked up. He yawned and tried standing up.

Embers had passed out on a wall in a small house, missing 2 of the 4 sides he looked up and shook his head, still sleepy

 

Sapphire sat up, the 1st thing she saw was her book. She grinned and stood up, walking outside with a huge grin on her face as she looked around

Times' leg does hurt as bad but it still hurts. Times limped out of his tent and took a breath of fresh air. He took off his torn cape and put it inside the tent. The steel back plate was now revealed and it had many scratches on it. Times limped down the road.

Sapphire yawned as she walked up some stares to look over at ponyvill. She had a smile as she walked back down, put the flower in her hair and walked over to times "Hey, how are you holding up" She said as she looked at him with a grin

 

Embers walked back up to his spot on the roof

"I'm doing okay, I guess. My leg doesn't hurt as bad and all my wounds have stopped bleeding. I only wish my feathers will grow back faster." Times said looking at her and then to his wrapped up wing. "It will take about 5 days before the feathers start to grow back."

Sapphire laughed as she looked at times "Oh? I would have guessed you cared more about your safety then your looks" She said as she winked at him with a grin on her face. She looked over, back at her tent and wonderd when they were going to leave, so she asked

"Its not just the way I look its also that I can't fly without my feathers..." Times said see her look  back to her tent. "If your wondering where we are going next, We will be heading to the castle to protect the Changeling, Buffalo, and Griffin diplomats that will be attending the meeting with Princess Luna." Times said.

Sapphire nodded "Yes sir, I guess I should go pack up then" She said with a smile as she turned back around, she walked over to her tent. She packed up her books, stopping to read a few on the way there as she shoved everything in to her back pack with a smile

Times went to get his helmet and put it on. He grabbed his saddle bag and put it on his back. He walked out of the Tent and looked around. "Now where is night?" Times asked himself before walking back to Sapphire's tent. He wondered if Luna would remember him when they got there.

Sapphire shoved the rest of the stuff into her backpack before steping out of the tent, she yawned as she looked over and smiled at times

 

Embers shook his head as he put his bandanna on, then walked down over to the rest of the group, waiting to move out

"Okay everybody is here," Times said before turning around and walking towards the everfree forest. He was hoping that the guard from yesterday wasn't there when he got there. But also had an urge to gloat so he also hoped the guard was at the castle. Times thought to himself as he walked but still kept his sprained leg off the ground

Sapphire looked down at her book for a little longer before shaking her head and following him. She still had yet to meet anything other then a pony, and was happy to be going someplace

 

Embers fell into line with the rest of the group, also happy to be moving away from his old town

Times passed the clock tower and looked at it. Times looked away and passed a cottage where a pegasus named Fluttershy used to live. He stopped right at the edge of the everfree forest. He could see the Lunar castle towering over the trees. The highest tower looked like an observatory.

Sapphire gazed around, smiling when she remembered what she and times had been talking about, when she had 1st seen the clocktower. She gazed up at the lunar castle, laughing as she thought how much stuff would be there, waiting for all of them to come and see it

Times walked through the everfree and soon came to a bridge. The bridge had been repaired and was now pretty sturdy. Times slowly walked across. The river below had many large rocks coming out of it. Times wished he could just fly over but without his feathers it an't going to happen.

Sapphire started across the bridge, not really that scared because she knew that luna had fixed it some time ago, plus it would be kinda stupid to kill your own ponys. She chuckled as she looked around at the other ponys

 

Embers sighed as he followed the group, just waiting

once Times crossed the bridge he looked up at the large castle. It felt like it was only yesterday when the castle was nothing but ruins. But now it is almost as large as the Canterlot castle. There were guards everywhere, some were even changeling soldiers.
