Sapphire shudderd as they steped into the castle, it was huge, there were so many ponys here, that was good she guessed. She looked around at the huge walls with a smile

 

Embers shook his head, he should have ran while he still had time, now he was stuck here

Times looked at 'Night' and said "Night you wait outside I will call you when you are needed" He said as he looked around for the room where the Diplomatic meeting was going to be held. The only thing that he knew about the diplomatic meet was that they were going to talk about becoming allies and how they should end the war.

Sapphire slowly followed times before braking of to walk up to one of the walls

 

Embers nodded and looked at times "Yes sir" He said as he turned back to look at sapphire walk up the walls. He sighed and walked over to one of the gates, happy to be away from times

Times heard speaking in one of the rooms and peaked inside. He saw the diplomats and signaled Sapphire to regroup. He slowly and quietly walked in. They were all arguing. Mostly the diplomats were arguing with each other until Luna yell "ENOUGH!!!" Times nearly fell over because of Luna's booming voice.

Sapphire nodded as she walked back over to the group, she smiled as she felt the warmth of being close to other ponys

 

Embers walked up to the roof, he looked around, he had a clear view of most of the fort. He could end the war wright here, if he could hit luna. He shook his head

Times looked at all the diplomats and guards. The windows were bared up and Time counted 35 guards. 25 were lunars, the other 10 were either griffin or changeling soldiers. Times stood next to the door and listened as Luna and the diplomats spoke in what looked like a giant court room.

Embers shook his head as he loaded his rifle. He wouldnt try to kill luna this time, seeing as he had been with them for so long. Plus, even if he did kill luna, he would most likely be shot down before he could just over the wall

 

Sapphire stood a littlebit away from one of the changelings. She chuckled as she looked over to times

From what Times heard so far, The Changelings have not yet agreed with joining the war effort, The Buffalo have agreed under one condition, The Lunar republic give up Apploosa once the war is over. And The Griffins have join the Lunar Republic in the Fight for a free Equestria.

Sapphire shook her head as she looked down at her rifle, then back up to embers. She looked over at times "Hey times, have they done anything yet?" She said with a tilted head

 

Embers made sure his rifle was loaded then put it on his back before looked around the fort for a little longer

"The griffins have agreed to join the war effort. We got the powerful warriors now we just need the numbers of the Buffalo and the stealth of the Changelings and the war will be over before we know it. Also the Changeling diplomat says that they should end the war with a peace treaty." Times whispered to her.

Sapphire nodded "Yeah, a peace treaty would be a good thing due to being able to save so many lives" She said as she looked around the fort. "I really dont want to have to kill anymore ponys" She said with a shake of her head

 

Embers climbed up to the top of the wall, smiling as he looked around

(Its a castle not a fort)

Princess Luna was saying something to the Buffalo Chief and Times saw him nod. He also heard Luna say "Its settled then In exchange for help in the war effort from the buffalo we will relocate the apple orchards in apploosa to the far  south corner of the mild west." Times heard that they had made a compromise and smiled

Sapphire yawned as she sat up to a wall. She opend her backpack next to her and opend it, opening it up as she pulled out a book and opend it, happy to get a little time to read before what every she was doing

 

Embers looked around, waiting for something to happen. He guessed it would soon though

As the changelings smoke. A door was blown open and Guards scrambled. A small 3 pony Celestian assault force came in. One ran towards Times and tried to stab him. Times grabbed the Celestial's rifle and stabbed him with the bayonet. Times saw Luna draw a sword and the Changeling and Griffin soldier tried to fight of the other 2 soldiers as 4 more Celestials came in. Times ran over to protect Luna as she was fighting off 2 soldiers. Times pulled out a flintlock and shot one of the Celestials.

Sapphire jumped to her feet with her rifle up. She took a shot at one of the celestials, but just hit his leg. She pulled out her sword and charged the one she had already shot

 

Embers laughed as he saw the celestials. No wonder he had had such a easy time getting in to the casle.

A Celestial came behind Luna but she turned around a straight up decapitated him. Times grabbed the throat of a Celestial Stabbed him in the chest. Times quickly pulled out another flintlock and shot the soldier Sapphire had shot. Before the last few Celestials were killed they had surrendered. The Griffin soldiers laughed at how cowardly they seem to be. Times saw that the Celestials that surrendered were all Privates.

Sapphire ran her sword through the celestial that times had just shot, she sighed and shook her head "How the buck did they get in here?" She said as she looked around at the last few that were there

 

Embers chuckled as he looked down at the group, wondering why he had joined the celestials

"I don't know but They surely didn't get very far..." Times said laughing. The changeling diplomats looked at the dead changelings and said "Okay, We are in. We will make the Celestial Empire pay!" Luna looked pleased and said "good, let us fight together to create a new world... a free world."

Sapphire smiled "Alright, I guess we should get some more ponys up on the walls to make sure that no more sneak in somehow" She said as she looked over at times, she bowed "Thanks, I think you might have just saved my life" She said with a laugh as she looked back down

Luna looked at Sapphire and Times and said "Thank you both, if it wasn't for you we could have lost one of the diplomats or even myself. I want you both to meet me later today in the throne room" Times bowed and said "Yes, your majesty I would be honored." Times looked up at her.

Sapphire also bowed "Yes, thank you" She said as she looked over at times. She was amazed by luna talking to...Her? She smiled as she looked around

 

Embers shook his head as he crawled back down the wall, the lunar troops were too soft, thats why he had joined the sun side

Luna left the left the room and Times looked at one of the capture soldiers. One of the struggled and started to fight. One of the Lunars had to slice the Celestial's throat. The corpses were being removed from the room. Times looked at Sapphire and slightly smiled. He wasn't happy but just re-leaved that they were both alive.

Sapphire looked over at the dead celestial and sighed, she hated having to fight other ponys, but it seemed as if that was the only thing that they could do. She looked back over to times and said "Hey times, This is the closest I have ever gotten to being with luna" She said with a smile

"Well your lucky... I had to spend time with her before she began speaking in a more modern fashion. I felt like I was going to go deaf." Times said chuckling, Times took off his helmet and looked at the lunars. "Allot of us here don't want to fight but the Celestials have forced our hooves."

Sapphire nodded as she shook her head and looked at times "Yeah, it seemes as if the celestials have been throwing everything that they have at us, trying to just kill as many as they can"

 

Embers smirked as he checked his rifle, He slowly raised it to his eye, making sure it was well aimed
