Times looked into the mirror and said to himself "Your a monster.. A monster with a reason... but a monster" Times took off his armor and looked at a scar on his hind leg. The scar was from when he was just a private and his leg was punctured by a pole. Times remembered the pain and looked away from the scar.

Sapphire looked over the wall with a shake of her head, then down to the blood splatterd all over the the wall where the lunars had been shot. She looked down and sighed

 

Embers grabbed a paper and started wrighting something on it, before giving up and tossing it out the window

Times grabbed a towel and wiped the blood off of his armor. Times sighed and looked at himself in the mirror again. "I can't even look at you anymore...." Times said before looking down and then looking back up. He reached towards his eye and took out his contact. Revealing his red eyes.

Sapphire walked back down the wall, feeling a bit sad after having to kill 2 of her own kind, 2 other ponys. She shook her head and walked into her room, shutting the door on the way in

 

Embers got fed up with writing, so he got up and walked outside with his bandanna half down

Times took out the other contact and looked at himself in the mirror. He turned around and walked to the door. He closed it and sat on the bed . He lay'd back and looked at the ceiling, thinking. He stood back up and put his armor on a mannequin before looking out the window.

Sapphire sat down and started reading a book before she yawned, turning to look over at times room she got up and walked over and hit the door a few times, wanting to ask him about something

 

Embers walked along the walls with a happy smile on his face. He had just read a really good book

Times heard somepony knock on his door and said "One second!" Times put back in his contacts and went to open the door. He opened it and saw Sapphire "Oh hello Sapphire, do you need something?" Times said as he tilted his head. He wondered what she possibly needed.

Sapphire smiled as she looked over at times "Yeah, I was wondering if you could help me....Uhhhh" She slightly blushed before lookeding at times "My gun is jamed" She said as she showed him how she could no longer pull the trigger on it. She shook her head and sighed

"Don't worry, Repeaters are easy to un-jam." Times said before un-jamming the gun and handing it back to Sapphire "Is that all you needed me for?" Times asked as he looked at her. He looked at the rifle and thought how could it have been jammed. She was firing it fine earlier.

Sapphire smiled as she took her rifle back, nodding as she looked at him "That will be all, thanks so much for the help" She said with a chuckle as she walked out, walking back to her room

 

Embers sighed and ended up just crawling back into his bed and ending up just falling asleep

Times nodded and Closed his door. He lay'd down on his bed and closed his eyes. He put the blanket over himself and fell asleep. He had dreams of the past. He didn't want to dream of the past but e could help himself. It haunted his dreams, and caused him have night terrors

Sapphire walked back to her room and sat her gun down at the side of the table while pulling out a book and starting to read alittle. She smiled as she slowly fell asleep and fell over onto the table

 

Embers was also soon asleep, he was having yet another nightmare about killing

The next Morning: 8:00 AM

 

Times woke up and put back on his armor. He put on his helmet and left his room. He went outside and shot fruit off the trees. He pulled out is sword and practiced on the trees when he ran out of ammo. After half an hour Times flew to the top of a tree and looked at the Castle

Sapphire woke up, still on her desk. She yawned as she looked around, getting her barings on where she was. She soon got up and walked outside with her rifle, ready for whatever was coming next

 

Embers walked out of his room and down the wall outside, wondering what he ws going to have to do

Times looked up at the clouds that circled the Castle's observatory. Times jumped down from the tree and walked back towards the Castle. He took off his helmet and looked at the guards. One ran up to him and said "Major Hay right?" Times nodded "Well you have a message" The guard gave Times a letter and ran back to his post.

Embers walked back in his room to get his rifle before walking back and sitting down on the wall with a good book to pass untill times or someone else had orderd for what they should do

 

Sapphire checked her rifle and made sure she hadnt broken it, but it was still fine and she looked around the wall

Times opened the letter and read it. It was from a general in Fillydelphia calling for assistance. Times folded up the letter and called two guards over and said "Go get Sapphire and Night ASAP" The guards Saluted and went to go find Sapphire and Ember.

Embers looked over as he was told that they were going to a new city. He smiled and walked over to times "Heh, So were going someplace else?" He asked times as he looked at him

 

Sapphire smiled as she was told this, she had always wanted to go to that city, and now she did

"We are going to Fillydelphia, some Celestial named Soarin' and a Lunar Captain named Lyra need assistance. Both the Celestials and the Lunars are being over run by Rebels from both factions. So this may be the first time ever in the history of the war, that we work together." Times said

Sapphire chuckled as she heard the name soran "Iv heard of soran before..." She said with a laugh as she looked over to times "Huh, the 1st time we really work together, who knows, this might be a good thing for the rest"

 

Embers just nodded, thinking about how he might just be able to re-join his old army

"Well, lets go then!" Times said before putting back on his helmet and began walking outside. He reloaded his flintlocks and looked at the forest. They had two choices, the long but possibly safer way back over the bridge. Or the fast but possibly more dangerous way through the forest.

Sapphire followed times while stoping a few times to injoy her self with all the trees that they had not yet passed out into a field, so she took her time smiling as she walked around the trees

 

Embers just looked around while still walking, checking his rifle a few times

Times walked through the forest and kept an eye out for any animals that could attack them. Times looked around and continued walking. They were about a mile deep into the forest. Times continued walking until he game to a cliff and stopped. "Be careful..." Times said to himself as he slid down the edge of the cliff.

Sapphire glanced up at the sky before turning her gaze back down to look at times. She looked down at the cliff and half slid half fell down it while smiling

 

Embers looked down the cliff and shook his head before taking a small step and also sliding down it

Times looked around and heard something in the bushes. Times pointed his flintlock at the bush and a rabbit came out of it. "Its always the rabbits...." Times said as he put away his flintlock. Times turned around and saw a Timberwolve right behind him. "Go away before I burn you" Times said to the giant beast that stood behind him. The Timberwolve let out a howl before throwing Times aside with its wooden paw.
