Sapphire looked at the rabbit before looking over at times with a smile. She then looked over at the timberwolve and sighed while pulling out her rifle, she aimed for its head and took a shot

 

Embers also raised an eyebrow as it tossed times aside, but he was slower to act on fighting it

Times smashed into a tree and looked at the Timberwolf slashing at Sapphire even after a bullet to the head. Times landed in some bushes and crawled out in pain. He tried to stand up but fell over again. Times grabbed his flintlock and shot at the Timberwolf

Sapphire jumped back before firing another shot into the timber wolf befor turning to her sword and slashing at it before backing up and trying to get away while still attacking it

 

Embers pulled out his rifle and fired round after round into the attacking timber wolf, stopping just to reload it

The Timberwolf ran away from them and stopped in front of Times. The Timberwolf threw Times and ran into the forest. Times hit a tree and yelled "Why does wildlife hate!" He slowly got up and spit some blood onto the ground. He picked up his flintlock and reloaded it.

Sapphire looked over at times and shook her head "Who knows, perhaps you are a demon?" He said it as a joke, and smiled as she checked her own gun

 

Embers shook his head and looked down at her rifle while also checking his rifle to make sure it was not jamed

Times looked at Sapphire and said "I guess i'm not the only one that thinks that...." Times put back on his helmet and continued walking into the forest. He felt his contact was falling out and when nopony was looking he put it back in. He kept an eye out for any other creatures.

Sapphire kept looking around with a smile as he looked around at the birds, laughing as she saw a bird fly over times. She grinned as she looked over at times "Seem like a few also like you"

 

Embers kept his eyes on the ground as he kept walking, not really caring what sapphire and times did

Times ignored the birds until one landed on his arm when he pointed to a trail at a fork in the path. Times looked at the bird and said "Huh... A kingfisher... There must be a river or lake around here..." Times lowered his arm. The Kingfisher flew into a tree and as Times walked the bird followed him.

Sapphire followed times while looking down at a map "Yeah, guessing by the path that were going, we should see a lake very soon" She said with a smile as she looked over at the trees, then to the bird

 

Embers kept making his bandanna go back up, as it kept on falling down

Times saw the bird land in front of him. He looked at the bird as it flew up and landed on his helmet. Times shook his head and the bird flew up and landed on his back. Times rolled his eyes and continued walking. He didn't know why the bird was following him.

Sapphire looked over at the bird with a smile as she kept walking, looking over at times now and then and saying "See? Some stuff out here does like you" She said with a chuckle as she kept walking next to times

 

Embers looked over at times and smiled "Guess it does like you" He said with a chuckle

The Kingfisher gave out a joyous high pitched call. Times looked at it and said "I bet it thinks I just smell like fish...." Times joked. He looked forward and saw a lake. Times heard the birds sing and looked at the Kingfisher as it flew off and grabbed a fish out of the water. The kingfisher landed back on Times' back and hit the fish against his armor before eating it. "Now I'm really going to smell like fish..." Times said

Sapphire giggled and looked from times to the lake and her face turned into a smile "Dang, this is a really nice lake, guess im glad to be here with someone who I care about" She said as she looked over at times

 

Embers kept looking at the ground before glancing back up at the lake?

Times looked at the lake and said "How about we take a break.. We have been walking for.." Times sand as he took off his gauntlet and looked at his watch. "Wow, 4 hours where has the time gone..." Times put back on his gauntlet and looked at the sparkling lake. Times walked over to it and looked at the fish, Thinking about who Sapphire meant when she said Someone she cared about

Sapphire looked over the lake with a smile as she sat down, pulling out an apple she slowly nibbled on it with a smile on her face "Heh, feels good to rest my legs" She chuckled and looked over at times

 

Embers walked a few feet away from the rest of the group, he sad down and looked at the lake

"Hey Shadow have you ever went swimming..." Times said looking at her as he set down his helmet. When he was a colt he was never a good flyer, but when he got under the water his wings were more like flippers. Allowing him to even out swim ponies that had their cutie marks in swimming.

Sapphire looked over at times and shook her head "No, Iv never really liked water, it has always acarred me way to much to get into it, the only thing I can do is look over at it" She said as she looked over at the lake

 

Embers took out a book and started reading it, glancing up now and then

"You have never gone swimming.. Wow I feel bad for you. It is really fun... Well After you actually learn how to swim." Times took off his gauntlet and stuck his hoof in the water. The was was cool and refreshing, just like the lake near the clocktower. Before it had dried up 4 years ago.

Sapphire smiled as she took another nibble out of her apple, then swiched to sip out of her waterbottle. She glanced over at embers before looking back over at times with a smile "Yeah, I guess I never did try, still hate water"

 

Embers leaned into the tree, closing his eyes as he did this

"Suit yourself..." Times said looking into the water and seeing his reflection. "Sapphire... if you don't mind me asking. Who did you mean by Someone you care about" Times said looking at her. The Kingfisher flew up and landed on Times' head looking at Sapphire, like it also wanted to know.

Sapphire smiled as she sat down her waterbottle and looked over at times "You, silly, did you think I ment nightfrost over here?" He glanced over in embers area before looking over at times "I ment you"

 

Embers looked up but then looked back over at the lake

Times looked at the lake "Oh... For the second there I thought you meant the Kingfisher." Times joked as he looked back to her. Times put back on his gauntlet and and looked at the lake. He wished that he could go for a swim but two things would happen. His armor would rust and he would sing like a rock.

Sapphire smiled as she looked over at times "Yeah, I guess you seem to feel like not that many ponys like you, but im sure we all like you" She looked over at embers "Right night? Right?"

 

Embers looked up at sapphire and shook his head "Yeah, Sure, whatever" He said as he looked back down at his book

Times looked at Ember and rolled his eyes. Times looked at the lake and said "I bet your the only soldier in the entire Lunar army to care for me... My last team, I found a picture of me taped to a dart board...." Times looked at her. He grabbed a rock and threw it and watched it skip across the watter.

Embers chuckled and looked over at times "Well, I do kinda care about you, you are my commander" He said as he looked back down at his book

 

Sapphire sighed and walked over to the water "You must have had to have a really bad team if they couldnt see the good in you"
