Inconsistent Rainbow Eyes

After watching Fluttershy get her rainbow eyes I noticed something.

 

It follows a formula:

- Realizing problem

- Rainbow glance from an object

- Rainbow Eyes / Realization

- Another rainbow glance from an object, which is the key

 

It actually have 2 objects glancing with the rainbow "power"

 

Except from in one pony's episode. The first objects rainbow glance isn't there. 

 

Rarity saw it in the rope thingy (I don't know the name of those)

Rainbow Dash saw it in the air, moving towards Derpy's flag

Fluttershy saw it in Sea Breeze's wings

Pinkie Pie... Didn't see it! omg

That almost made more sense than I wanted it to. Given that Rainbow Dash is the center of the lesson given

This does make sense. However, there's still the inconsistency that, given what the other objects do before the character's reaction, Rainbow Dash's mane should have had some sort of shine or "glance." Seabreeze's wings and the velvet rope are prime examples of this, while the pitcher of water is more subtle.

Well I thought the same thing too when I watched the episode for the first time but when I rewatched it, I noticed that everything in the song (The Goof Off) has a rainbow colour. Just listen that song once more, so that you can understand me.

But nothing og it glances, closest thing is the bubbles that Pinkie makes.
