One day a group of people from around the world woke up in Ponyville, so they have to get used to being ponies and a new life in ponyville. You wake with a pink friendly face looking down on you, "Hi," She said, "Who are you. I'm Pinkie Pie, and you guys like, just appeared there, like *poof* did you like use magic? Huh,huh," Pinkie Pie said staring down on you.

Riley groaned, and his eyes fluttered open. He darted his head around to see a lush, meadow environment.

 

Riley: Guys?

 

He then looked up to see the source of the voice. He saw... a pink pony?

 

Riley: GAAAH! What the - a pink, TALKING pony? Wait, that's actually pretty cool.

Dust looks above her only to see a pink pony.....

"What...am i dreaming"

Dust wants to squees herself only to see her hooves.

"HeHe,iam dreaming...i am dreaming...."

Dust starts to looks woried around her.

"H--How can you talk?, oh wait rigt this is in my dreams,nothing makes sense"

Easy to annoy someone like me, that's for sure. I'm a Sagittarius, and according to horoscopes that may or may not bear any relevance to the world as we know it we Sagittarians are prone to bouts of extreme passion which quickly cool off. Also known as 'tardrage', etc. I like to expect that certain things will inherently go my way. I'll play a game, I happen to enjoy winning said game. I'll brush my teeth, I expect them to be clean and for my mouth to taste fresh. And when I wake up, I expect to see the ceiling of my room and suffer from the typical morning soreness that clamps itself over one's body and makes them want to roll over and fall asleep again.

 

So understandably, when I wake up as a quadruped in full technicolor derived from a series that I used to enjoy, there's going to be some pretty quicksilver moods involved. Especially when one of characters from said series is hovering over me.

 

"Wha...? Go away, it isn't time for me to wake up yet." It was a light and airy voice, feminine in nature, from the petite little pony rolling about on the ground, eyes still clenched shut.

 

Oh wait, I'm a mare now. Go figure.

Pinkie: I am a pony! You're a pony, too!

 

Riley laughed nervously.

 

Riley: Eheheh, no, I'm not a pony, I'm a human.

 

Pinkie tilted her head.

 

Pinkie: I don't know what that is. My friend Twilight reads about them in mythology, though!

 

Riley looked at his hand - no, his hoof. He was, undoubtedly, a pony. He was coated from head to hoof in red fur. He had a blonde tail to match his hair - no, his mane. Two things intrigued him most. The wings at the sides of his newfound equine body. Secondly, the symbol of a directional arrow imprinted on his rump.

I am Ballet Shoes a nice, classical pony. I am just getting up. "To early," I groan while rolling over, I put my hoof on my face feeling my horn, I open my eyes wondering what was on my face. "Is that a hoof." I stand up quickly and look around and than I sit down realising where I am."Somepony, please tell me this is a dream!" I shouted.

Meanwhile, not too far off into the distance, a distinct scream could be heard. 

 

"WHAA!!", the purple pegasus cried, "W...what happened to my hands?!" 

 

The pegasus staggered around, struggling to get used to his new body. "Hooves, wings...what is this place??"

 

He looked down at himself, and couldn't help himself but giggle. He was laughing at how he was fashioned with a brown suit and a blue bowtie. "I must be dreaming...this is one topsy-turvy world I got myself into...but how did i get here in the first place...? Hey!" 

 

He noticed a few other ponies that were close by. He stumbles his way over to the other ponies. "Uhmm....greetings?"

When I get a hold of myself I sand up and see every pony some thinking how awesome this is and some scared some not sure, "Okay, guys, let's spread out and get all the people who go turned into ponies. We meet here in about an hour." I say with a determent look.

[DizzyWings 6]

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

 

He looks around, seeing a few other ponies in the distance. "Well, if you say so. I don't want to look like a crazy perso---um, pony when I ask around about where I am and what I am....but, alas I don't think I have any other choice."

 

He makes his way over to find other ponies that were in the same situation as him.

Thunder Dash was walking around Ponyville. He then saw a group of ponies chatting. He then gathered some electricity and disappeared. He then reappeared with a poof in front of the group with his wings spread. "Hey guys...what are you all chatting about?" Thunder asked.

Riley turned to look over to the tall yellow Pegasus. "Oh, are you from here? We're humans, well, used to be humans, but for some strange reason, we all woke up having been turned into colourful equines with symbols on our butts," he explained. "And it's not bad."

"This feels so weird..." Dizzy thought to himself. "Does anyone remember what they were doing before we got here? Last thing I remember, I was fast asleep..." He inpsects his purple coat once more, noticing the empty lightbulb symbol next to his flank. "Why do we all have something different right there?"

"I don't know, let's just put that on the list of unexplained weirdness this word is throwing at us," replied Riley, "Such as some of us having wings or horns." Riley stood up on four hooves. "So... how do we go to the bathroom? Do we just swish our tails around, and..." his voice trailed off as he went red in the face, which was hard to notice because he was coated from head to hoof in red fur.

"Yes. I am from here. The name's Thunder Dash. I'm from a city known as Cloudsdale." Thunder stated as he pointed up above them where a city on clouds was.

Thunder turned to the somewhat clueless purple pony who was looking at his cutie mark. "Oh, that's a cutie mark. A lot of ponies have them around here. I have one too." Thunder stated slowing his flank. His cutie mark was a thundercloud with twin lightning strikes with stars surrounding it.

Riley looked back at the symbol of a directional arrow on his hindquarters. "But I just don't have a clue as to why these tattoos would be appearing. Especially not there," he remarked. "Wait, are you implying that there's an entire civilisation of ponies?!"

"Yes. This whole place where in right here, is where ponies like me live. This...is Equestria." Thunder stated spreading his wings in a sort of dramatic fashion. He then folded them back. "And those symbols on your flank represent what you're good at." Thunder added. He then gathered some electricty and made a cupcake appear from the blue. "See, I'm good at wielding electricity, even though I'm a pegasus." Thunder explained. "Anypony want a cupcake?" He asked.

Riley looked at the other former humans, then over to Thunder. "Uh, yes please," he replied. "But are you sure that cupcakes are appropriate for herbivore digestive systems? And if these butt symbols represent what we're good at, then what does mine mean?

"Well..." Thunder stated as he examined the symbol. "Maybe it means you're good at finding things. You must have a good sense of direction them. And about food here...ponies eat everything here...from fish, to meat, to veggies, to fruits, to yes...even sweets and bread." Thunder stated. "So...where would you like me to take you?" Thunder asked.

Riley was thinking about answering the question by saying 'home', but the current scenario seemed quite fascinating. After all, it wasn't every day that you got turned into a winged, colourful pony with a symbol on your bu - err, flank, and there was an entire civilisation of them! "To the nearest town?" replied Riley.

"Well...onward to Ponyville. It's a nice little town with a lot of stuff to do. There's an arcade, there's a bowling alley, and even houses that you can rent out for the time you'll stay there. But that's not all there is to Equestria...oh no. Outside of Ponyville, is an array of places to go and things to do." Thunder explained as he made a quick u-turn towards Ponyville.

Riley was rather astonished at what this new land had to offer. There didn't seem to be a thing wrong with it! Everybody - err, everypony was friendly, there was a bakery, an arcade, a bowling alley (although Riley had no idea how to hold a bowling ball with hooves)... at the moment, he didn't care if he ever turned back into a human and went home. He had a world to explore!

 

(Going to bed now.)

Meanwhile, Dizzy was too busy taking everything into perspective. Equestria? Cutie marks? These were all foreign concepts to him. He followed around with the rest of the group, trying to understand and catch up with them as they make their way around town. "So....what should I do? Where should I go? Is there a hotel here?"

"Alright, I'll follow you." Dizzy replies as he catches up with Thunder. "I am not used to flying yet, so for the moment I would like to stay here instead of Cloudsdale." Dizzy scratched the back of his head, getting used to the itches of having fur. "You know, being covered in all of this hair isn't half-bad..."

"Well, you gotta get used to it, 'cause that's what you'll have as long as you're here. There is a spa in Ponyville where you can get it cut, or just have a relaxing time." Thunder stated. "Personally, I prefer to fly, since it's a lot faster. I can teach you how to fly if you want me to." Thunder offered.
