Genesis stood and looked around "Sweetheart? Come on...we're supposed to fight!!!". She didn't want to fight her either but wasn't about to admit that in front of everyone else. "So are you going to forfeit then?" she called out to the seemingly empty battlefield.

Angelinx thought it was weird that Genesis coukdn't see her. She could see herself just fine. "No. I'm not going to forfeit!" Angelinx shouted to her. She teleported in front of her and waved her hand in front Genesis's face before teleporting behind Genesis. "Can you see me at all?" Angelinx asked fearfully.

Well watching the fight Katie couldn't help but have her mind wonder. The fight was exciting enough she supposed, the two both had fantastic powers, but watching sporting events were never as much fun as competing. She found herself looking down at her toes and humming a random tune that somehow morphed into the Mario theme. Randomly she wondered if you could set up video games in this world, like if she could go around and collect Pokemon to fight Xanas monsters with. The thought made her giggle a bit, and maybe a bit loudly as the others in the stands were able to hear her.

Something flashed beneath Angelixs' legs and when she looked down, she saw a feather sticking out of the ground and blinking. The feather exploded like a grenade. Genesis was touching her cheek; surprised at how feisty her opponent was or where she was.

Angelinx looked down at the blinking feather. When it exploded, she was thrown across the arena with a trail of smoke following her. She crashed down on the arena and her body flickered into existence. Coughing, Angelinx got up and looked over at Genesis.

Genesis turned around not having known Angelinx was there at all. Luckily, the trap she laid had worked; landing a searing blow on Angelinx. "Well for a second there I couldn't, sweetheart." she answered while readying the fire around her body. She charged forward; leaving a fiery trail behind her, aiming to punch Angelinx.

Angelinx got a frieghtened look on her face but she ducked the punch and punched Genesis in the chest. She teleported away and watched to see what else she would do. "What...? Oh man. Not a new power!" Angelinx began to panic and hyperventilate at this. She put her hands on her head and looked at Genesis with tears in her eyes.

She spun around after taking the blow to the chest and reacted so quickly she hadn't seen the look on her face. Genesis shot another fireball directly at Angelinxs legs. She paused afterwards taking in Angelinxs' face in distress, wondering why she was so distraught. All this happened in only a few seconds though, as Genesis watched the fire explode.

Angelinx was flung straight up in the air. She had her eyes closed and mouth open in a silent scream. After hitting the ground, she turned invisible again. She was slow in getting up and when she did, she turned visible. Teleporting, she ended up in front of Genesis. "I never do this, but I have to if it will get you to stop fighting me." Angelinx whispered and then she drew her arm back to punch Genesis in the mouth.

Genesis let her fist connect. She reeled back seeing stars momentarily before grasping Angelinxs' arm and using it as a fulcrum to pull forward and bring Angelinxs' stomach crashing into her knee. "Fight or give up." she stated. Why in the world was she acting so strange?

Angelinx gasped as she felt Genesis kick her. She clutched her stomach, gritted her teeth and headbutted Genesis on the forehead. She teleported behind her to try and get the pain in her stomach to go away. Breathing heavily, Angelinx tried to calm down so that she could focus and try to win the fight.

She gripped the bridge of her nose and squinted, trying to stave off the pain in her head. She blinked quickly to clear her head and regained herself. Genesis turned around and cracked her neck before staring at Angelinx, she seemed far off now like she was somehwere else. Blinking slowly she ran forward again, this time engulfing her whole body in flames.

Angelinx breathed heavily and saw Genesis come up towards her with flames trailing behind her. Panicking, she turned invisible again and ran towards Genesis. Not knowing she was invisible, Angelinx stepped to the side to hopefully trip up Genesis.

As soon as Angelinx disappeared again she smiled. Genesis kept charging forward and was too late to change her pace anyway so when her foot connected and she tumbled, she was prepared. She gave out a strong blast of fire all around her as she tumbled and rolled, hoping she had hit her target.

Angelinx clenched her teeth in pain as she felt herself get burnt. Her clothes started to burn up and she quickly rolled around to quench the flames. Having done so, she reappeared, panting heavily with burnt holes in her clothes. She moved her arms and groaned in pain. She quietly rolled over and stood up slowly. She panted, teleported to Minx, grabbed one of her swords and teleported back to Genesis. She held the sword loosely in her hand and had no idea what to do with it.

Genesis slowly stood and stared at Angelinx, impressed by how much she held out. At the same time, it pissed her off. If she couldn't win against Angelinx then she would be weak. Just like Codely said. How could that be? 

 

She quenched her fire and threw a few feathers at Angelinx.

Angelinx sidestepped and the feathers cut part of her shirt open, exposing more skin than the holes in it already have. She looked at the sword in her hand. She then looked at Genesis. Everythjng that just happened in the fight began to crash down on her. She looked at the sword again and then threw it to the ground in disgust, making the sword slide a few feet. She began swaying on her feet as the pain she felt during the battle caught up with her. "I ... forfeit ..." Angelinx said as she fell on to her back.

Genesis slowly walked over and looked down at Angelinx "I'm sorry...but you did great?". She held out her hand to help Angelinx up "C'mon sweetheart...".

 

It was weird. She felt weird. She felt like she had blacked out and came to right when Angelinx admitted defeat.

Angelinx grabbed Genesis's hand and pulled herself up. She then looked at Genesis for a bit, steppped forward, and hugged her. "I'm sorry about what I did to you in the fight." Angelinx whispered. She gave Genesis a peck on the cheek and went to walk back to the stands.

"Oh heel. I'm never going to get used to this friendly crap!" Genesis growled. She picked up the sword and walked back up to the stands, where she plopped down next to Minx after handing her her sword. "That part of you is surprisingly feisty, my dear. But well done."

Minx took her swod back and placed it in it's sheathe. "Is she?" Minx asked absently. She shook her head and thumped her fist against it  "Sorry. You talking about Angelinx? How can she be feisty? She's sweet, kind, lovable ..." Minx trailed off. She placed a fist under her chin, and rested her elbow on her knee.

Jeremy looekd to a 24 hour new channel and saw something out of the ordinary. It appeared that a tornado was starting to form. He checked a few other channels and found that a tornado was forming near Kadic. "Oh no. I'm transporting all of you to the mountain sector. XANA's just activated a tower!" Jeremy said as he transported everyone to the mountain sector.

Katie frowned and looked up, she wasn't really used to being teleported, but soon she felt a sort of tingly feeling before materializing above  a rocky mountain area, she fell to the ground, noticing her dress was no longer torn as she landed gracefully on the ground. She was glad she was no longer indecent as the others showed up around her.

Whisper let out a sigh of relief and rolled her shoulders, thankful somewhat for the XANA attack. She took a good look around at all the boulders and then finally spoke "Where's the tower Jeremy?".

 

Genesis landed on her heels "Cool...an attack.". She spun around looking at the place.

Angelinx opened her eyes and found her top completely restored. She sighed in relief and looked around.

 

Devilinx and Hellinx both stretched and looked at the others.

 

"What? Tower? Another XANA Attack. Okay then. Where's the tower?" Minx asked as she tried to look for it.

"Okay. The tower is straight ahead and about 40 miles." Jeremy directed them.

 

Dart looked out the window to see a peculiar sight. A double tornado was forming. "How the hell are tornadoes here!?" Dart shouted in panic.

Katie looked around the mountain sector then to her friends. She just shook her head, "alright, so what's the first coarse of action," She asked the group, "run and hope the monsters don't get us?" She looked to Minx Whisper and Rush, waiting for Jeremy to respond. @,
