"Wait here or whatever I'll be back" Genesis waved back at them as she walked out of her room and towards the showers.

Alphonse looked over at Odd's hand. He just then noticed the ring on his hand, then almost visibly deflated. "Eh, nothing happens the first day of classes anyways." He sighed and got up. "I'm going back to my dorm. I guess I'll see you guys later." He got up and went back to his dorm.

 

After arriving back at his dorm, he closed and locked the door, pulled out his bottle of vodka and drank. He didn't care that it was too early. He had just had his hopes dashed without anyone having to really say anything. He laid down on his bed and cried, taking intermittent sips from the bottle. He didn't want to tell anyone, but he wasn't really in to women, hence why he didn't really hit it off with Genesis. He hoped Odd would be similarly inclined, but apparently not. Or, at least he already had somebody. He wasn't really sure and didn't really care. He finished the whole bottle, stripped to his undershirt and boxers and rolled off his bed, face-first on the floor, mimicking how he felt.

"Okay. See ya later then." Odd said to Alphonse. He saw Genesis go towards the showers and then immediately set about, trying to figure out which clothes to bring to Minx. He opened one of her suitcases and found it full of dark coloured clothing. He sifted through the items and found that there were no dresses. Finally pulling out a dark blue hoody, black jeans, a red tank top, some undies and a bra, he then put it all inside Minx's empty backpack. Along with some toiletries that he found in the other suitcase. He's used to the sight of bras and undies by now that they didn't faze him in the slightest.

  After a small while, Genesis returned from the showers fully dressed. Ignoring Odd she sped around the room and managed to get her make-up on in under a few minutes. Reaching behind the dorm door she grabbed her leather jacket and slung her arms through it "Alright Odd, I'm good to go"

Dex followed Katie out of the cafeteria, avoiding the gaze of teachers in the area. 'This girl is really something else.' He thought to himself. Dex would've turned down that offer to go with some guy to a place where danger is usually lurking. 'She's either courageous or stupid. I can work with both though.'

Odd had Minx's backpack slung over his shoulders. "Right. Follow me please." Odd instructed. He waited until she was ready and then led her around campus to his motorcycle. "I'm now glad Minx has a backpack. Here's a spare helmet." Odd pulled a spare helmet out the compartment underneath the seat and handed it to her. He then got on the motorcycle and waited for her.

Whisper followed both of them, trying not to let her nerves get the best of her. She was a stranger to skipping classes but this was much more important. Whisper remained quiet listening to their light conversation.

Genesis pulled the helmet over her mess of short black hair and mounted the motorcycle behind Odd. She loosely wrapped her arms around his waist for her safety. "I don't like falling off these things so sorry for the intrusion of personal space" she said muffled by the visor of the helmet.

Katie walked down the crowded halls and out of the school. There was still a crowed in the court yard, kids who had chosen to eat outside packing up and intently studying their schedules in searching for their first class. They paid no mind to just 3 more kids wondering about the vast yard. Katie remembered the first time she had pulled a stunt like this. Her and her friend Ben walking about the grounds of her elementary school, she had felt like every person she passed was watching in disgust, judging her and getting ready to tell the principal exactly what she was up to. But since then she had learned something, people who don't know you, probably don't care about what you're doing especially if it doesn't effect them. That and, kids don't viciously tattle on other kids.

 

"So," she said to her friends, leading them away from the court yard and into the more secluded forest area, "have you guys ever cut class like this?" She had fallen into step with the group and walked with her hands in her jean pocket, an easy going expression on her face.

"It's fine. Just make sure to hold on tightly, otherwise you'll go flying off the back."  Odd advised her. He then put his helmet on his head and started the engine. He kicked the stand to put it horizontal to the road and then took off. He easily kept within the speed limit but made sure to not go too fast, lest Genesis would fall off.

Genesis tightened her hold and swerved with him. She kept quiet, thousands of thoughts running through her mind. This Minx was a mystery to her and even more so with Odd and Alphonse in the mix. They could be friends, maybe siblings but taking into account that the two men looked nothing alike, she knew it not to be true. Something was off and it filled her with excitement.

Odd pulled into the hospital parking lot and killed the engine. He took his helmet off and hung it on one of the handlebars. He then unhooked Genesis' arms from around his waist. "Hey, Genesis. We're here." he said, tapping her on the helmet.

 

Minx woke up and, to her delight, saw herself in one of the public wards. 'Since I'm here, that means I'll be able to go home tomorrow. Yay.' Minx thought.

"Nope" she squeaked. She just kept her head down and stayed as close to Katie and Dex as possible, terrified of getting caught.

Katie saw Whispers terror and decided to comfort her, "Don't worry about getting caught, we're past the point where any teachers would come to look." She swept her hand about the forest "the only other life forms out here are animals and bugs, and possibly murderous computer viruses." She shrugged, "if your scared you can always head back to school."@@RunsWithSquirlz,

She got up taking her helmet off to hang it on the other handlebar. "Let's be off then" she walked into the hospital following Odd.

She smiled a little and took a few more seconds of silence before speaking again "No, I want to go. It's just the first time is always the scariest ya know? I'm pretty sure we're gonna end up skipping alot more classes anyway!".

Walking into the hospital, Odd was surprised to see a different receptionist then from the one yesterday. "Hello there. We're here to see Minx Grimm?" Odd asked him.

 

"That teenager who had the double heart attack. Right. Hang on a second ... Ah here she is." The receptionist said. He flipped through the register and showed them the room.

 

"Room 234 ... thanks." He turned to Genesis, gave her a smile and then led her to Room 234. Having a purple backpack on wasn't that out of place for Odd.

She smiled back and walked into Minxs' room; hooking a finger in a belt loop she looked around approvingly. Genesis took stock of all the medical utensils kept nearby for emergencies; taking a particular interest to some. Looking back towards Minx, she nodded and said "S'up roomie?"

Odd placed the backpack next to Minx's bed.

 

Minx sat up and rested her back against the pillows. She nervously smiled and didn't say anything. Minx just watched her and saw her take particular interest in some of the drugs. "You're a drug addict. Aren't you?" Minx said. It wasn't an accusation. "And your my roommate. Great!" Minx's nervous smile turned into a genuine and happy one.

"Hm" she winced "'Addict' is such a strong word. I'd say I'm more interested in market value'".

 

She strode over to Minxs' bed; putting her elbows on the side and looking at Minx with her chin on her hand. "Minx yeah? What do I have to do to get you out of this place eh? I need a new roommate. I'm bored.

"You're bored, so you want to break me out? First of all, this isn't a jail. Second of all, I don't know your name and third .... addict suits you just fine." Devilinx crossed her arms. She knew the addict type. Couldn't keep their hands off the stuff.

 

"I'll just stay wait outside." Odd grinned and quickly stepped outside and into the waiting room. He then sat down to wait.

The corner of her mouth twitched in annoyance "Got quite a tongue on you eh?". Searching the room for a chair and finding one, she dragged to the edge of the bed and plopped into it. "Lucky for you, you're already in a hospital bed!".

 

She motioned over at Minxs' backpack "Figured I'd come take a looky-loo while your friend back there dropped off your clothes. Get to know you and all..." she trailed off, looking out the window.  "Genesis" she mumbled absentmindedly.

"Thank you for noticing. If you want to get to know me then you need to know two things, One. I have Multiple Personality Disorder. So Minx won't remember meeting you. It's kind of confusing the first time you meet us. Two. I can do this." Devilinx held her hand up and made the lights flicker on and off. She quickly stopped it in case anyone else noticed it though. "May as well know what you're getting into, Genesis." Devilinx said smiling.

Genesis sat back and took in with amazement her control over the lights. It took a few minutes of her silent staring for her to finally give an answer "So. This is one personality and Minx is another, are there more? I rather like this one though."

 

She pointed up towards the lights "Are you an android or something like that? Is that guy back there like your robot friend?". Genesis didn't mean to sound ignorant but her mind jumped to more scientific answers rather then the fantastical ones.

 

 

 

"May as well know what you're getting into, Genesis." Devilinx said smiling.

 

She shrugged and smirked right back "Same here."

"Nope. Not an android. He's not my robot friend. Here's how the personality thing works. If me or Angelinx do what I'm doing now, then she won't remember anything. But, if she's in control, which will be most of the time, then she will remember everything she does. Minx is sort of the host personality.  I'm the negative personality and Angelinx is the positive, pacifist personality." Devilinx explained.

"Ah" she smiled "You say that with the slightest tinge of conviction, planning a coup?". Genesis nibbled on her thumb; pondering the personality disorder " Once I knew this schizophrenic bloke...anyway so about your personalities. Been this way your whole life or did it come with the attack?"

 

Before, Genesis had noted the slight change of the atmosphere around Minx. Knowing to read people was essential for her everyday activities but she hadn't expected this. She was very much amused about Minx "What grade are you in?"

"That's the spirit! Let's get going." Katie pulled the group along and eventually the three all came upon the hidden manhole. They all took turns climbing down into the empty sewer system, "You know," Katie said to the two others well walking down the long tunnels, "we could stand stand to stash some scooters or something down here, it's an insanely long walk.@@RunsWithSquirlz, @,

I don't think I told you my name. My name's Devilinx. We're in Year 11." Devilinx said. "What about you? Tell us a bit about yourself. Besides looking for market value." Devilinx raised an eyebrow and gave a smirk.
