"You know what girls, it's fine, I don't need to know right now." Ben shrugged the words. "see you guys around, have fun fighting XANA or whatever."

 

Katie gave a worried nod, "By then Ben." She left with Minx. @,

Whisper smiled and waved him off "I'll find something don't worry!". When Rush left, she began her search for snacks which led to her tidying up a little which then eventually lead to her cleaning up in general with a bag of chips in her hand. She propped open a window and finished up; very happy with her work. While crumpling up the bag of chips she stopped to think, she was thinking about Genesis. Her words earlier in the shower had been bothering her all day; Whisper's emotions where in a tumble. She stared out the window rubbing one arm and wondered when Katie would start the "study session".

"Okay, bye Ben." Minx said. She waved to Ben and followed Katie out the door. "Wait a minute. I'm feeling a bit cold so I'm going to get a jumper from my room." Minx said, rubbing her arms up and down to try and warm up. Without waiting for an answer, she started walking in the direction of her dorm for a jumper.

It wasn't until Rush had finished his shower and arrived outside of the room again that Rush realized he was naked except for a towel, which might not have been a problem except Whisper was there. But it was too late to worry about that now, so he walked in. "Uh... so yeah, you should probably turn away or something. I mean... not that I exactly have anything to be ashamed of, but I'm not sure you're ready to see... everything."

Whisper jumped up in surprise since she was lost in thought so she ended up turning around anyway. "!!!" she whipped back around and stared out the window. "Rightsosorry!" she squeaked. She couldn't lie to herself and say she wasn't curious but the mere thought of it terrified her.

Rush chuckled. "It's alright. You can look if you want. I just figured you probably didn't want to. But it's not like you'd be the first to see it. And I hope you're not too disappointed with what you did see." He finished getting dressed and tapped her on the shoulder. "It's safe now."

Whisper turned and smiled up at him "I didn't see anything!" she lied. "I think we should start walking to the factory now, it should be about time shouldn't it?" she rubbed her arms nervously. She had a weird knot in her chest and suddenly she found herself unable to look directly at him. She shied away and nibbled on her finger.

Getting to her dorm, Minx immediately went to look under her bed for her suitcase. Finding it, she dragged it out and placed it on the bed next to a white bag. Seeing that her name was on it, she opened it up. Looking inside, Minx saw four perfume bottles. Getting a slightly confused look on her face, she looked at the labels and found that there was one for each of her personalities.

 

'Who put this here? Whoever did it, thank you.' Minx thought to herself. Upon closer inspection, she didn't find a name as to who put the bag there. She'll figure it out later. Right now, she needs a jumper. Grabbing a fleece hoody from her suitcase, she put it on and put the suitcase back under her bed with the addition of the perfume bottles. She then walked out of the dorm with a smile plastered on her face as she headed towards the factory.

Katie was outside of the school, taking the long walk to the factory in silence. The sun was high as noon was fast approaching, but the clouds had rolled in giving the entire outdoors a shaded and cool feeling. Katie liked it. So she took her time with walking, not wanting to go under the ground into the dank sewers where the air didn't move and where the heat gathered. Walking alone made everything strangely silent. She found herself easily distracted, looking up at the clouds with no point or reason in mind. When she got to the sewer entrance, she simply looked down with slight disdain before climbing down and making her way to the factory.

Rush shrugged. "Alright, let's go then." He looked at her strangely for a minute. "Is... everything alright? I know that was kind of awkward, but it wasn't too bad, was it? I mean, I'm not exactly repulsive am I?" He took her by the hand and began to lead her toward the sewers, only slightly aware of how odd that seemed without context.

Looking around, Minx saw that there was no-one around to hear her. Feeling slightly safe in the knowledge that she was in the forest, Angelinx and Hellinx began arguing.

 

"Why did you make me do that Hellinx?" Angelinx quietly whispered. She's still not over the fact that Hellinx made her do something against her nature. "You know that I hate lying."
 

"You're still harping on about that!?" Hellinx said exasperatedly.

 

"Of course I am. You know that Devilinx would have been much better at the job than I would." Angelinx retorted.

 

"You know perfectly well that Genesis asked me to do that!" Hellinx argued. They continued arguing back and forth while they went down the ladder into the sewers.

"I'm sorry" she climbed down the rungs of the ladder carefully and let go once she touched the ground. "I...I just don't like to be reminded of...things. It happened more than once today." Whisper answered slowly.  She was unsure of things in general and was hoping the party would cheer her up. At least she could eat pizza. 

 

She started down the tunnel at a slow pace, something that really was rare for her.

Rush nodded as he followed her down the ladder. "Well... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you or anything. I should have been more careful. Try to cheer up for the party though, okay? I'm sure it'll be fun, and anyway, we need to get to know these people if we're going to fight together."

"Yeah I'll try. But I can't shake this really heavy feeling. Like something bad is going to happen." she shivered in the clammy air and rubbed one arm. Whisper picked up the pace a little bit; suddenly creeped out.  "Hmmm...was it a good thing I followed you into the sewers that day?" she asked playfully.

Katie finally joined the party after the long silent walk. She didn't really know how things were going to go down, or if the others would show up or even want to talk to her. But sh saw Whisper and Rush and waved to them. She wondered if they wanted to talk to her, they were dating after all and she was trying not to burst in on conversations between couples anymore. Instead she just walked up to Jeremy, "Hey dude." She grinned, "Minx said you had something planned, mind letting me in on the secret?" @,

Her personalities quietened down after sort of resolving their issues with each other. Minx rubbed her throat from all the talking she did. She pushed the button for the elevator and when she arrived, she saw that everyone else was already there. She was silently hoping that Genesis was there too but that didn't seem to be the case.

Jeremy smiled as he saw them arrive. "Sorry, Katie. I'm waiting for everyone to get here before I say anything about it." Jeremy said. He then noticed Minx but didn't say anything.

"Okay, I'll wait" Katie said, with a pouty smile. 'Why so many secrets?' She thought. She turned away wondering what to do next, and decided on nibbling on the snack table. But she was distracted when she saw Minx arrive and went to say hello, snatching a couple cookies from the snack table on her way. "Hey Minx." She grinned and offered one of the cookies, "want a cookie?" @,

Somewhere near them, Katie and Minx heard the scraping of metal and then a heavy thump.

Whisper was about to greet Katie but she had turned away so quickly she didn't get the cahnce. She cocked her head to the side, racing through her memories to see if she did something wrong. Did I leave our room messy? Am I snoring? Simple thoughts, Katie was her friend and she took extra care of the relationships she held with people.

"Hi Katie. A cookie would be nice, thanks." Minx said softly. She was talking like that because her throat was very sore. She took the cookie that Katie offered her and bit into it. When she bit into it, she heard a loud thump. She swallowed the bite and looked around. "What was that thump?" She wondered out loud.

 

Jeremy walked around the room and bit into a slice of pizza.

Katie looked around when the thump sounded. She stared around the room, her first thought was 'find weapons, get ready to attack' than she shook herself out of it. Really, the thump was probably nothing. Before this Lyoko stuff, she never thought she'd see a day where a thump in a room full of people meant time to kill. Jeeze this was getting to her head. She frowned, "I donno, it's an old factory, something probably just fell." Katie was a bit freaked out anyway, and her mind began to race, ideas for escape tactics, possible weapons, resources. She had to tell herself to stop and have fun. She cleared her throat, "You OK Minx? Your voice seems cracked." she said before nomming on her cookie.

"The thump was probably nothing." Minx said while rubbing her throat. She unintentionally made sparks while doing so. "Does it? Haven't noticed. Actually, I think I did whenever Hellinx spoke up. Her and Angelinx were trying to come to terms with each other. It's sort of worked." Minx told her. She swallowed and took a bite of her cookie.

Genesis walked in rubbing her butt and mumbling profanities under her breath. She was a little pink in the face and had a newly acquired guitar strapped to her back but otherwise seemed fine "Got to kick a mattress down that hole...almost broke my bloody back...". Taking note of the girls, she swiped a slice and strode over "You girls doing alright?".

 

She couldn't remember Katies name or Minxs most of the time so she liked avoiding them; lest the nicknames come out.

Minx nodded and coughed a bit. She smiled and took another bite of her cookie, a perfect excuse for not saying anything. She raised an eyebrow as she saw the guitar strapped to Genesis's back. Swallowing, Minx then asked, "What's the guitar for, Genesis?" She croaked. She felt that her throat was on fire even though she hadn't had anything to drink.

 

Jeremy saw Genesis finally walk in but he still decided to wait a bit before announcing his surprise.

"One of the many ways I make money darling. Except I stole this one. Guitars are expensive and that douchebag didn't know how to play it anyways." she shrugged. "Do you need something to drink? You're voice is a bit froggish." she picked up a can of soda and held it out to her.

Minx finished her cookie and swallowed it. "Thanks. Don't worry about my voice though. I'm sure it will get better." Minx said, grabbing the offered soda. She popped the can and sculled about a quarter of it in one go. After doing so, she put the can on a nearby table and coughed a bit. "Thank you Genesis." She scratched her head and looked at the guitar again. "When I went back to our room, I found a white bag on my bed with my name on it. It had four perfumes in it and I was wondering if you knew who put it there." Minx told her quietly.
