Saveourfandom.com calls for protection from Hasbro's C&D orders.

I think that this is the wrong way to go about it.

Instead of doing this, people should ask their permission before starting big projects, instead of hoping they won't get caught or deluding that Hasbro will have mercy.

 

I agree with this completely.

 

Hasbro loves the Bronies, I don't believe they would have given the C&D unless they had to.

 

I understand about how a lot of fan projects are what bring in more Bronies.

 

And Hasbro should be grateful for it, because that makes their profits go up.

 

But it's just the stuff that gets too extreme, then Hasbro has to do something about it.

 

They don't want to kick their fans, but sometimes their's more on the line than just hurting a few (thousand) fans.

 

They could have lost MLP if they didn't tell Jan to stop, or something along those lines.

 

I just don't think it's very fair that most just automatically assume Hasbro has become corrupted and evil due to the current situation.

 

We all know Hasbro has some good people in it, and they love us just like we love the content they give us.

 

We have probably the greatest fan base in the world (a little extreme, right?), and it just wouldn't make sense for Hasbro to try and hurt us.

 

Only when it comes to extreme situations is when I think Hasbro will give someone the boot.

 

Like, when Hasbro is backed in a corner and they have no other choice but to fight back.

 

The thing that's backing Hasbro into a corner is the law.

 

That's how I see all this at least, JanAnimations was probably my favorite Brony animator, and I wasn't too happy about this either since Button's Adventure was freaking awesome.

 

But I think it's all just about understanding the situation, more than anything.

 

If you just see an article/topic title labeled "Hasbro shuts down JanAnimations", of course you're going to be pissed about it.

 

I'd actually be disappointed if you weren't, lol.

 

But if you listen to what some others have to say, and read up on the situation, I think you'll come to understand that they were doing this because they had to.

 

I hope this makes sense for everyone who read it. ^^

Is it true that saveourfandom.com got C&D'd because I can't access the website and I saw a anonymous post somewhere else they got shut down.
