Oh, I should ask her! Lily thought to herself. 'Do you have any Official documents on you? to prove your identity?" she said as attaching her armor to the cart.

"Um... no... I don't. I just found out that I was aparently in a eight to nine month coma. So... no... I have no legal documents to prove who I am unfortunatly.." Charcoal said. "So... is there any other way for me to be able to get to them without having that kind of paperwork?"

Lily thought to herself for a second. "I know!" Lily spoke out really loud. "what?" Michelle asked.

"Once we get there, me and Michelle will give our Documents then ask for the presence of Gavin." Lily replied, "He is Zachary's assistant, the guards most likely will allow for him to come out on announced." Lily finished. Michelle looked puzzled for a second, you could tell she was thinking it through. "I don't see why not." Michelle said finally. "You want too, Charcoal?" Lily asked.

David woke up in his house. "Well, it's not so much a house as it is an underground bunker." Rubbing his eyes groggily, David groaned. "Morning to you too Poe." After stretching and getting eating a light breakfast, David got on his gear consisting of his vest with the zillions of pockets, a few quite a few way to many bottles of fresh hard cider, and other pieces of survival equipment. As he walked to the door and started undoing the many locks on it, he muttered under his breath "They thought I was crazy, building a fort like this, called me paranoid. Psycho. Ha, the ogres showed them." Hearing a chuckle in the back of his head, he groaned internally. "Ah but my friend, you ARE crazy. You have been conversing with me all these years after all." "Shut up." Is all Poe got in return. Securing the entrance to his house, he took off at a brisk jog towards the main road. "Oh! Where are we going today?" "I've heard that there's been some commotion up at cascade pass. I figure where there's trouble, there's money. And we both know I used to be one of the best ponies for hire around."  Poe laughed. "You keep saying used to be. Aren't we still the best?" David shrugged, but didn't deny it.

David could hear the horror and screams throughout the city of Demensia. There were Guards fighting in the town square against some of the Ogre's. In the distant Guards were yelling for ponies to re-group at Cascade Falls. It wasn't long till a Siren went off notifying the citizens that the city has been over-run and must be evacuated.

David walked through the destroyed city with the casual stealth and grace that can only be learned through years of practice and experience. Every once in a while, an ogre would get to close for him to avoid and would catch his scent, turning to find him, hoping for a meal. David was no novice though. He was an experienced adventurer and had dealt with ogres before. Knowing that they relied on their keen sense of smell and hearing to locate an opponent, David kept a special little explosive he'd concocted on him at all times, and used them without reserve. Many an ogre came to close to David and many came away with their ears ringing from a loud band and nostrils burning from the noxious fumes they produced. It was in this, some what stinky, way that David made it to Cascade Falls.

As David arrived to Cascade Falls, a Stallion on a huge stone wall noticed him. "HAULT!" Gerrit Del Tor' said as thirty guards peeked over the edge with bows. "What business do you have here?" Gerrit asked. The doors opened under Gerrit and two guards came out with Halberds. They waited for a response.

Thunder came out of his place (not sure if tent or hut, could someone explain where we are? i completely missed that.) He saw a black mare. He had a vague feeling he knew her very well... The black mare was talking to somepony else but Thunder couldn't see who it was, or even if it was a pony...

David grinned at the guards. "Hello there! My name is David. I'm a wandering adventurer. I heard about your ogre problem and thought I might lend a hoof." "For the right price." Poe added quietly in David's head. He blinked but didn't respond. "I've dealt with ogres before and thought that I might lend some experience in keeping them away?" Hearing Poe laugh in the back oh he head, Poe states "Oh they can tell you have experience keeping ogres away alright. Look at their faces. Oh! That one's covering his nose. You really shouldn't have used so many of those bombs, you know?" David grimaced, but didn't reply. He knew Poe was right though, this wasn't the greatest way to make a first impression. "I'm sorry about the smell. Ogre's have extremely sensitive noses, and a stink bomb of sorts keeps them away fairly easily." "Mostly." David grimaced again and looked away from the guards so they wouldn't be able to see his face. "Alright, shut up. You're not making things easier with your running commentary." After he finished replying to Poe, he straightened up and looked back at the guards, grinning sheepishly, awaiting their response.

Both of the Guards that had Halberds looked at each other, and started to speak a different language. "Noresk, lix tel tuk!" Both of them said. "Warriors Of Nex, lower your weapons." Gerrit Del Tor' demanded. As the Guards heard his command they backed up, and walked back into the keep of Cascade Falls. Gerrit went over to a stair case and trotted down them, over to the main gate and then went up to David. Gerrit had Heavy Paladin Armor, he had a cape with a seal of Government on it. The overall cape was dark purple but the seal was silver. "My name is Gerrit Del Tor' I'm a High Knight in the City of Zexis Del Tor', but now that I've introduced myself, I can tell you citizens we do not need help getting rid of this invasion, we have been ordered to get rid of them, and protect this area so they don't expand to Masklo." Gerrit replied. "If you need to however to go through this pass, so be it. and I'll see that you can get to main land." Gerrit finished.

"Um... sure... why not?" Charcoal asked, not really sure what else to say. She didn't really understand what was going on or who they were talking about, but she figured if she just followed the two of them then she would find out. At least, that is what she hoped would happen.

As Charcoal got on the cart, and the two ponies who were transporting her took off, she could feel how strong they were from how fast they were going. The cart flew high into the sky, and plenty of birds were flying around in the clouds above. As they got to their required height, Charcoal could see the entire city of Kingshield. The wind was pretty strong today, as they flew through the sky you could smell all sorts of things that have gone up into the air, sweet smell of bee's honey. As they passed Port Karin, Charcoal noticed a boat that was carrying something by a somewhat dolly. It was taking 10 ponies to even have a chance to operate it. It was a Kraken. As they flew away from Port Karin, and started to get closer to Zexis Del Tor' the castle came more into view, a lot of fog would cover this castle. The mountain it sat on was pretty high. As they approached they came to a smooth stop at the front gate, it was a small stone one. Guards did protect it, but they let them go through. After 3 minutes they came up to the outer wall of the castle. There was a draw bridge door. It lowered and two Stallions who had Paladin Armor on, came out. "Hault, who are you!" One Demanded. Michelle took off her helmet and spoke. "I am Michelle, from Kingshield High Protector of the Keep." She said with a lot of tone. as she showed her Documents." Michelle said in a tone. "I am Lily, Squire of the grounds at Kingshield." Lily replied while showing her papers.

 

Both Guards looked at each other and nodded, then back to the three ponies. "What is your business." Lucus demanded. As he came from behind the wall, as the two other Guards backed off back into the Grounds. "We come to seek presence with Gavin!" Michelle replied. "So be, it. BRING ME GAVIN!" Lucus screamed, then backed up into the grounds. Minutes later, Gavin came out to meet them. "What can I do for you." Gavin asked in a soft tone.

Michelle and Lily looked at Charcoal. Charcoal got off the Cart. "This is where we leave you." The both said as they took off. And after Charcoal turned her attention to Gavin, he didn't seem in the happiest mood.

Charcoal waved as Michelle and Lily flew off into the distance. It was a fun... ish, ride while it lasted. But she preferred her hooves to be the ground. She turned around to face Gavin and was about to say hello before stopping. She noticed his mood and had to wonder what was wrong. She pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind and smiled at Gavin a bit. "Um... h-hello..."

Gavin watched the two ponies fly off, and as they left he turned his attention to the mare in front of him. As a carriage passed with local foods that two farmers were bringing into the castle. Gavin turned and waved to the two Farmers. Then turned his attention back to Charcoal.

"WAIT!! you were one of the ponies in the Forbidden Lands." Gavin said in an excited tone. "You fought during the war of The Storm!" Gavin said remembering finally and happy to remember. "Surprised you don't remember me." Gavin finished then shrugged it off.

"Wait, you know me?!" Charcoal asked, getting a bit excited. "And there is that thing... the forbidden lands... why is it everypony keeps talking about them? And what is it that makes them make the place sound like it is such a bad place?" Charcoal asked, hoping she could get sons answers now.

Gavin took a breath of air, possibly looking like he was going to say a lot.
"They call it the Forbidden Lands because of the Dangers that lurk in those lands. Jason Lark who was responsible for the Storm bought out the Bavik Strongholds army, and I was apart of it. I remember seeing you in the Bavik Stronghold at one point, you owned a black smith. My Commander Francis didn't tell me that we had joined the wrong side. But he was threatened by Jason. Later when the Spider King and his minions came into the picture ponies were dying daily. It wasn't till later they got their hands on a dragon device and turned one of their own kind into a pony. Weirdest thing I ever saw... Then after a long period of time I finally made it to Galorick's peak, only to see a lot of Dragons fly overheard into the Forbidden Lands. I had no idea what they were doing.." Gavin paused and took some air. "It wasn't till after I passed the border apparently to over here. I ran into a Guard, called herself Nichole Del Tor', asked who I was, and I had no idea what to say. So they sent me here, and then later I ended up working for Zachary Del Tor'." He finished, then he started to take deep breaths. Phew he let out.

"You could meet up with Nex's troops at Galorick's Peak, they are going to make another run into the Forbidden Lands, they send out troops ever 45 minutes on the clock. Can't guarantee if you go out there you'll survive. If you can make it to the Outcast camp where the troops go to be with the others, I'll assume you know what you're doing." Gerrit replied.

Charcoal sighed. What did all of this mean? "Well... okay... I... I guess that's okay... but now I have reached another dead end. I don't know where I need to go from here. I got a few answers, but I don't know why I am here or what happened to me. Or why I came from a supposed dangerous place."
