Rainbow Burger

 

 

This fic is my heart and soul.

 

The setting takes place in an alternate universe of Equestria where Humanity has been around for at least a century or two.

 

Equestria is modernized, The mane 6 have never met each other, and Pinkie (or rather Pinkamena) works at Rainbow Burger, the MLP version of McDonalds. The patties are protein enhanced soy.

 

A few things I must point out about this fic.

 

It is absolutley not a Cupcakes rewrite, and only vaugly references Cupcakes.

 

Pinkamena isn't a psycho killer in this, just a disgruntled, snarky, and all around kick ass fast food worker.

 

Misanthropy abounds. It's a darkish comedy. Expect characters to be potrayed quite differently than you expect them to.

 

Also the ratio is statisticly terrible. 54:23. But the reason has less to do with the quality of the fic and more to do with the fact that I used terrible cover art in the beginning (cover art still needs work) and the downvotes, I believe, are mostly from users who thought it was a horrible cupcakes/goodburger crossover and automaticaly downvoted it....to date there is actually only one Good Burger reference in the whole fic.

 

If you are skeptical about the fic, I did put it through to Rage Review!, a group on fimfiction known for tearing apart bad fanfics. As far as I know it is the only fic so far to recieve a positive rating.
