Embers nodded before he yawned and grabbed his bottle and the book and walked down the stares singing some random song before falling on his face. He got up and winked at skycutter "I owe you one, mate" He said with a chuckle as he sat down with his book in hand

Lightwing knew all the time that Embers was drunk,but she ignored him

"He think that he can hide from me..."

She was still flying,and there wasn't any planes...too suspicious

"Sky Cutter.I think it's time to fly for a while.I wanna see Embers for something..."

She waited for Sky Cutter

Embers looked down at his book before taking another swing and getting up. He walked around singing a random song and fell over on his face a few times before hicking and falling back over onto his book. He opend the 1st page, and soon fell into tears, so he got even more drunk

Sky Cutter woke up to the sound of his name

"swimming in a lego pool of jelly with Harry Trumane... yet another new one" he mumbled to himself

he got out of bed half asleep and made his way to the cockpit, by the time he got there, he was fully awake.

"It's about time you called me up, I was getting bored sleeping, and Trumane kept drowning in-- nevermind"

Sky Cutter sat down in the pilot seat and took control of the plane with a grin on his face.

This time,Lightwing headed towards Embers's cabin...It could be heard how someone was crying

"Embers?Eembers...I'm going to enter"

She opened the door,and she found a drunk Embers reading a book who she recognized from first sight

"Why are you reading that book?"

Embers laughed as he fell over, flinging the book over his sholder as he stood up, taking another swing and half falling on lightwing "HUh? That book? Because I wanted to, learn to deal with it" He said with a snicker as he fell over into his pile of tears, he looked over at lightwing with a smirk

Sky Cutter looked ahead and saw some stormy looking clouds. He began to get excited.

"attention crew I have some good news and bad news, the bad news is there is a storm up ahead and it doesn't look like we will be able to avoid it. the good news is it doesn't look that bad, we should make it through in one piece."

Lightwing heard Sky Cutter saying something about a storm

"Are you sure that you'll can cross it safe?"

She turned again to Embers

"But why are you crying?When I'm drunk,i don't do more than laughing!!!"

She takes a bottle of...something,that she found on a box,and drinks it

"Wadda think about mahself?"

Embers laughed as he put his drink down next to him "Your really stupid lightwing, cider cant get you drunk, so stop faking it" He said with a smirk as he glanced down at the tears around him and shrugged "I needed some alone time to think, you know, war and all, friends?"

*removes sticker of the bottle,to show that she was wrong*

"Smart...I like it..."

She got up and drinked again from the bottle

"I knew that you weren't drunk,for 1 simple reason..."

She cleans his tears

"Your tears tasted salty...If you're drunk,they taste sweet..."

She sat again on a chair

"If you're alone,you'll never be happy,and you know that perfectly."

Embers laughed as he looked at lightwing with a tilted head "Oh? I dunno, I have always been happy when im alone, thats why im a bloody gunner, not some high ranking person like you" He said with a chuckle as he slowly hid the book behind him while still looking at her

She looked at him,and then booped his nose

"Maybe you"re right....But have you ever tried to be with more people?I don't mean me...But that's a good start..."

She shook his hand

"My name is Lightwing,Commander of the 6th air legion,and your name is Embers,1st gunner of the 6th legion"

She smiled at him

"It's a pleasure to meet you!"

Embers tilted his head up and looked at her from his nose "Nice to meet you, why do you let drunkerds try and shook down planes?" He said with a laugh as he stood up "No really though, Im fine, go talk with skycutter or whatever his name is" Embers said with a smile

Lightwing smiled too

"Nah!!He's too entertained with flying to even dare to interrupt him"

She looked at him again

"I let drunkerds to be gunners because,this plane has survived worse things...And I think that a drunkerd more wouldn't do anything bad..."

She pulls out a hidden box on the floor

"You talk about being drunk,but...Do you dare to be really drunk? "

"HOLY CRAP GUYS! I JUST REALIZED LIGHTNING RHYMES WITH LIGHTWING! that and we're just about to enter the storm, I kinda wish it were stronger, it would be so much more fun." Sky Cutter said with excitement (probably levels not healthy for him) "ooh! ooh! I wonder if we'll get to shoot stuff in the storm! that would be exciting, a stormy dogfight! wait, do i smell alcohol?"

Embers laughed as he walked over to lightwing "Sure, why the buck not?" He said as he grabbed one of them, poping off the lid and taking a sip, shaking his head he grinned at lightwing "Well, I must say, this does taste much better then my old cider from Applejack, back in ponyville"

Lightwing started to drink from the bottle that she picked up from the box

"Trust me!This drink has been made on Vanhoover,where the greatest alcohol industry is "

She started to feel the effects of the alcohol...

"Heeey Look......I have hoooves!!

She started to move her hooves forwards and backwards constantly

Embers grinned, he had not drunk half as much as lightwing, so it was funny to see what she would do with more. He slowly stumbled to his feet, wondering where skycutter was. He guessed he could leave lightwing down here, drunk as she was, and would be just fine

Sky Cutter looked back through the cockpit door, and saw Lightwing and Embers

 

"yep, getting drunk" he said to himself. he looked ahead and sighed, switching on the auto pilot, he got up and walked back to join Lightwing and Embers "just a small drink... ok maybe not, hell, who knows... wait what?"

Lightwing threw a glass to Sky Cutter

"Join us!!!I have enuff for weeks!! "

She opened another bottle,and drsnk it on one sip.She started to blush for the drunkness

"Wheeee...I have hooves,and a taaail..."

She started to move her tail, amazed of how it mived

"Oh my god... "

Embers put his drink down, forgitting about all of his sorrow, and just smiling as he looked at the world around him. Who would have knowen that a commanding pony such as lightwing, who had seemed so cold, could get drunk and be amazed that her tale moved? He smiled and laughed

Sky Cutter took the glass and sniffed it, approving of it's scent he began to drink. in about 10 seconds all the glass contained was a little foam.

 

"Did I mention I'm of Irish descent? takes quite a bit to get me drunk, plus one of my friends said something about blue eyed people holding their liquor."

 

Sky Cutter set the glass down.

 

"by the way whose idea was it to taste tears? like 'hey I just chugged a glass of a drunk pony's tears, and they taste different from a sober pony's tears!' kinda creepy."

 

He picked up the glass and looked into it. "maybe the pony was drunk?"

Lightwing looked at Sky Cutter,while blushing for the alcohol's effects

"Well,my descent is half canadian,and half spanish,y'know?"

She drank again from the bottle,and then poked Embers on the nose

 

"And you?Where are you fronm?Although my instinct says that you're...canadian,i think..."

Embers chuckled "Aye, 100 percent so. Iv lived there all my life, out in a wood house. I came to here just for the wall, ya know?" He said with a smiles and he looked at his book, he could only see it out of the corner of his eye, but he turned back and chuckled as he smiled

"If you guys were gonna get all specific about it I would have said I have Irish somewhere up there, the rest is from Seaddle. anyway...  so are you from the french speaking part or...?" Sky Cutter asked. he held out his glass hoping to get another serving, due to the altitude the drink was cold.
